Chapter 559 Moving (?)

After a long separation, I feel very complicated.

What followed was naturally a lengthy explanation. Puba basically repeated to Tony and the others exactly what he had said to Steve and the others.

"Sounds like a random comic strip," Tony commented out of habit. "A multiverse-level crisis? Wow, did I really hear something wrong?"

"You heard it right, Tony Stark." Facing Tony's tit-for-tat, Puba didn't take it to heart after all, the former was like that.

Besides, if you suddenly talk about the multiverse to someone who has never been exposed to this level of experience, most people will probably think you are making up nonsense when faced with such empty words, especially someone like Tony who is well-educated and has his own understanding.

Such people will never give in until there is decisive evidence to refute their theories. There have been many similar incidents in history.

"The multiverse is like a candy ball eaten by children. It looks extremely solid, but it can be easily destroyed."

A voice that was somewhat unfamiliar to Tony and Thor suddenly sounded. Before they could become alert, the Martian Manhunter crawled out from underneath.

"Who are you?" Tony asked, and at the same time his right hand quietly rested on the watch on his left hand. That was one of his only remaining weapons. The rest could not be used due to insufficient energy. Either they were dismantled and used elsewhere, or they were just gathering dust.

Thor also raised his hands, ready to give the enemy in front of him a thundering blow depending on the situation.

The tense atmosphere was naturally stopped by Steve and others. After their explanation, Tony and the others learned that the green man in front of them was a member of the Tiangong Association.

"So, you only sent two people over?" Tony frowned. He knew that as the party being helped, he couldn't ask for more, but when hearing this news, there were definitely only a few people who could accept it rationally.

"Don't say that Tony."

Of course Steve could understand Tony's thoughts. To be honest, if he hadn't seen the strength of the Martian Hunter, even he would have had some resentment in his heart.

"Both Puff and Martian Manhunter are very powerful, especially Martian Manhunter, who has a fighting power that is not inferior to Thor. He even defeated General Corvus Glaive."

After hearing this, Tony's expression finally changed. If it was really as Steve said, then the Martian Manhunter was indeed the battle they needed most right now.

In fact, if it was Thor in the comic universe, the Martian Manhunter would still be a little afraid of him, but the one in the movie universe is not qualified yet. At least it will have to wait until Thor awakens before he can be compared with the Martian Manhunter.

"His head and weapons are inside the base," Martian Manhunter said at the right moment. "I left them inside the base because they were too bloody."

"As mentioned before, Tiangong also suffered a lot of damage in the previous battle, and many agents were sacrificed." Puba pretended to be sad.

"Take Putty, for example. He died in that battle. According to the Lenopan physiology, he had barely reached adulthood."

Putty is the Lenopan people, commonly known as the purple mud people, who appeared in the previous Tiangong agent role-playing game.

Anyway, Yang Le has the final say on which aliens will appear. Now that there is a superior replacement, the Putty Monster naturally has no room to appear. So in order to reflect the cruelty of war, Yang Le took the opportunity to kill him.

Moreover, when he was in the Lenopan state, he got along very well with the Avengers and was even very close to Tony, which was one of the reasons why he was passively buried.

Sure enough, when he heard Putty's name, the aggressive Tony suddenly became deflated. In his opinion, no one would joke about the life of a companion, so Putty must be really dead.

Tony opened his mouth, but couldn't utter a single word. He'd thought he'd gotten used to losing, but after hearing the news of the alien mud's death, he suddenly realized he'd thought too strongly of himself. "I'm sorry."

Tony only said this one sentence in the end, which made Yang Le very uncomfortable. He even wondered if he was too cruel.

"Let bygones be bygones," Puba quickly changed the subject. "It's not just you, we need to look forward too, for those who are no longer with us."

"That's right." Steve agreed with what Puba said. Even though the others didn't say anything, you could tell from their expressions that they thought the same thing.

"Before you go any further, you'll need a little help." Martian Manhunter gestured to the double-door refrigerator nearby. "The help you need is right there."

"In the fridge? Aren't they Shaman Frosting and Cinnamon Donuts?" Tony seemed to have recovered, his words sharp again. "To be honest, my stomach really needs them, but..."

As Tony spoke, he opened the refrigerator door and stopped talking after seeing the scene inside, because there was no white refrigerator interior, but a dark dirt tunnel.

"A secret passage?" Tony curled his lips. "Pretty corny, honestly."

The ending of Avengers should be about snapping your fingers with your mouth, which is not much less hard than the Eternals.

"Just tell me whether you want it or not?" Puba lost his patience.

Tony said, "If you have complete equipment, then I will definitely want it!"

After saying that, Tony took the lead and walked into the tunnel. It turned out that even Tony could not find any fault with the base built by the little warrior himself.

"It's barely acceptable." Tony said stubbornly.

"Oh, yes, yes." Puba nodded and started rolling the knife.

"Is this the second base of the Tiangong?" Tony looked around in confusion. "So, salespeople being aliens in disguise isn't just a thing in movies."

"No, there is only one base for plumbers." Puba shook his head and answered Tony's question, but Tony was surprised after hearing the answer.

"Only one?" Tony frowned. "I don't remember it being in the ocean? Did I track it wrong?"

But he quickly denied it and said, "That's not right? If I'm wrong, Steve and the others won't be able to find this place."

"You're in the right place, Tony." Steve answered Tony's question. "It was Martian Manhunter who moved the base here."

"Move here? Alone? From the bottom of the Atlantic?" Tony's eyes widened. "You have to be kidding me, this joke is so bad."

"Captain wasn't kidding, Tony," Natasha said with a smile. "We wouldn't have believed it if we hadn't seen it with our own eyes. We were right there at the time."

"The Martian Manhunter pulled the base out of the ocean floor and carried it across the Atlantic Ocean, digging it all the way out from underground. It took no more than two hours in total."
