Chapter 292 The sudden appearance of a stranger

Chapter 292 The sudden appearance of a stranger
"I never thought something like this would happen." Aquaman looked at the Flash, who was almost as thin as a stick, with lingering fear.

"What kind of attack could have caused Barry to become like this? Was it dark magic?"

"No." Batman nodded, pressed the button and the projected Barry disappeared. What appeared next was a bird's-eye view photo with two dots on it, one blue and one red.

"Barry accidentally fell into the opponent's rhythm while chasing him. He didn't pay attention to his own consumption and ended up like this. It has nothing to do with magic."

"Where is that blue shadow?" Aquaman asked.

"Gone." Batman shook his head. "With our current capabilities, we can't track him down. If it weren't for Ron's abilities, I wouldn't even be able to stop Barry. In a few seconds, he might have run himself to death."

There was silence in the conference room. Barry, the only member of the Justice League who had a chance to catch up with the opponent, was now unable to get up. How should they deal with the opponent next?
Just then, the door to the conference room opened, and Martian Manhunter and Cyborg walked in one after another.

"How's it going?" Batman asked.

"Mr. Yang Le has lost his memory," Rong En replied. "It's true. Even I can't dig any useful information out of his brain."

"You can actually read other people's memories directly?" Aquaman was shocked, as if he had heard something horrifying. Everyone except Batman also showed an expression of disbelief.

"Mr. Yang Le agreed to my offense," Rong En explained. "He was also very curious about his past. He was eager to know why he was targeted by that blue shadow. Although he didn't show it, I could sense his fear."

"Any normal person would be horrified in that situation." Wonder Woman nodded. "It's human nature."

Batman didn't respond, but instead looked at Cyborg behind Ron, the meaning was self-evident.

"I gave him a comprehensive examination, and his body is very strange." The left eye of Cyborg's machine flashed red, and a three-dimensional model of Yang Le appeared in front of everyone.

"His body was in a very strange state. His body was incomplete."

"What does this mean?" Green Lantern was stunned, not understanding what Cyborg meant.

Ganggu explained, "Yang Le's body is constantly in a state of being in and out of function. Many of his organs are temporarily missing. These absences are so brief that they barely affect his normal physiological activities. If I hadn't checked repeatedly, I would have thought I had a virus in my brain."

"It seems this is where the problem lies." Superman breathed a sigh of relief. The most terrifying thing is not discovering a problem. At least new problems can be used as clues. Finding nothing is the most troublesome thing.

"Then it seems that the answer to the question lies in this person's peculiar physique." A faceless man in a coat sitting in the corner suddenly stood up.

"Have you found anything, interrogator?" Batman asked, eager to hear the thoughts of this great detective who could be compared to him.

"Not much." The questioner stood up. "But we can infer based on what we know. First, we know that a speedster far more powerful than the Flash is tracking that gentleman, and that gentleman possesses physical characteristics that are different from those of ordinary people." "Let's boldly assume that this gentleman's physical characteristics are the reason he's being tracked. Then, I believe the blue shadow's goal is to obtain his body."

Stealing other people's bodies is nothing new to the members of the Justice League. Most of them are superhumans, and many super villains have tried to take over their bodies in various ways in order to obtain their powerful abilities.

Therefore, many people in the Justice League also agreed with the questioner's idea. Of course, where there is agreement there will be opposition.

Batman said, "Then why didn't that shadow go find Yang Le before? According to Yang Le, this was the first time he encountered a blue shadow. And if this blue shadow was the one who had been chasing Barry, then why had he been chasing Barry for so long?"

While the Justice League was discussing, Yang Le, who was the center of the discussion, was sitting quietly in the reception room of the watchtower. He had just experienced such a series of dangers, and even though he was now in a watchtower outside the earth, it could not give him any comfort.

"What on earth was I supposed to do?" Yang Le scratched his head. "Why is there something so terrifying haunting me?"

Not only the Justice League, but even Yang Le himself was thinking about the reason why he was being hunted by the blue shadow. In his opinion, he was just an ordinary person. How could a superhuman come to hunt him?
"No!" Yang Le suddenly shuddered. He remembered a piece of information he had not told the superheroes, which was a nightmare he had been having frequently in the past few months.

Yang Le stood up and ran quickly out of the reception room. He had to tell the superheroes this news; perhaps the description could help them solve the mystery.

But as soon as he opened the door of the reception room, what appeared before his eyes was not a wide corridor, but a white frame hanging in the air.

Yang Le stopped in a panic, luckily he reacted quickly and stopped, otherwise he almost crashed into it.

Before Yang Le could figure out what the box was, a head wearing a white hood popped out from inside and looked straight at Yang Le.

"Wow!" Yang Le was startled and screamed out.

Unexpectedly, the person in the box was not in a hurry and stretched out a hand to greet Yang Le.

"Hello, Yang Le! Long time no see. Although I just met another you a few minutes ago, it seems more appropriate to say 'long time no see' for you."

The person in the box said a bunch of things Yang Le couldn't understand: "Long time no see?" "Met you a few minutes ago?" "Another me?" But Yang Le still managed to grasp some useful information.

That means this person must have known me before I lost my memory, and he might even know the reason why I was being hunted.

But before Yang Le could ask a question, the person in the box spoke again.

"Sorry, although I really want to catch up with you, our time is really limited. After all, a certain blue exhibitionist is still staring at me. If you ask me, he's just a dog chasing a rat. To use the words you taught me, the emperor is not anxious, but the eunuch is. The Supreme God doesn't care about it, so why should a exhibitionist like him get involved?"
