Chapter 187 Preparation and Departure
Chapter 187 Preparation and Departure
A huge ring stands on a circular platform with cables of different thicknesses connected to it. I don't know if it is used to provide energy or for something else.
"Finish!"
Valeria spread her arms wide, like an actor making a grand entrance.
"This is impossible……"
Peter murmured to himself, as if he had received a severe blow.
"It's a pity that there is too little time, so I can only make this big fool." Valeria puffed out her chest, and it seemed that she was very happy to be able to hit Peter.
"If I have enough time, I would like to make it smaller so I can carry it with me."
"Does it work now?" George obviously didn't care about that. He only cared about whether the instrument could work and whether he could see his daughter.
"Of course," Valeria said.
"As long as there's enough energy."
"Then what are we waiting for?" George looked around at everyone, obviously he couldn't wait any longer.
"Don't be anxious, Uncle George." Yang Le stopped George.
"You guys want to fight monsters in your shirtsleeves? You need some gear."
Yang Le pointed to a device in the corner and said, "That's the 'loom' I built for Gwen, a suit-making machine. You can use it to make a suit of armor for yourself."
This loom was originally Gwen's favorite. Since the machine came into being, Gwen would sew a new set of battle clothes every once in a while, but she only made a few changes each time, and Yang Le would not be able to notice it if he didn't look carefully.
Later, the birth of Olaf made all the previous battle suits unusable and they could only be hung in display cabinets for display. However, this machine was not scrapped. After all, it could still sew some ordinary clothes, and the quality was better than luxury goods on the market, and it could be modified at will.
"You can design it according to your own preferences." Yang Le pointed to the wall on the side. The wall unfolded to reveal the mezzanine inside, on which many weapons were hung.
"Those are the things I made in my free time. You can pick out some that suit you."
George and the others looked at everything in front of them in shock. George couldn't help but ask, "Happy, who are you?"
"That's what I was going to say next." Yang Le said seriously.
"Since everyone is here and involved in this incident, I'll tell you everything."
"I'm not actually a native of this universe. I come from another universe, but for some special reasons, I settled in this universe."
"Does Gwen know?" George asked.
"I had already separated from her completely. After she gained super powers, the first person she told was me. I am her mentor, right?" Yang Le replied.
When George heard this, he couldn't help feeling depressed. When his daughter got into trouble, the first thing she did was not to look for her father, but to look for a boy outside. Should he be said to have failed as a father?
"Why are you standing there?" Yang Le looked at the people standing there stupidly and waved his hands to urge them on.
"Hurry up and equip yourself. Franklin, you should know how to use a loom, right? Help Uncle George and the others."
Franklin made an OK gesture. Even though he had never used it before, he could figure out how to operate it the moment he tried it.
After hearing what Yang Le said, everyone reacted and looked at the others around them to see what choice they would make so as to avoid a car crash and waste time.
Seeing this, George took the lead and walked towards the loom. On the way, he was still thinking about getting a set of clothes casually, as long as the quality was acceptable, until he saw the battle suit that Gwen had discarded in the display cabinet halfway.
Looking at those uniform black and white uniforms, George had an idea in mind and came to the loom.
"Any ideas?" Franklin asked. "Yes, I have some ideas." George said with a smile.
Under George's command, Franklin input his requirements. The loom was very efficient and a set of battle clothes was made in less than a minute.
"Try it." Franklin pointed to the back of the machine, where was the best changing room.
George obviously accepted it and walked behind the machine with his freshly made battle suit. If it weren't for Valeria, he might have changed his clothes directly. After all, they were all men and there was no need to be so particular.
George quickly changed into his suit and walked out from behind the machine. George's suit was also black and white. It was obviously based on Gwen's suit. It also had a hood and a spider logo, and it looked like it was from the same series.
Spider George makes a brilliant appearance.
"Cool." Peter, who likes to read superhero comics, was immediately attracted by the story. He pulled Harry aside and said.
"Let's do the same design. It'll look like a super team."
"Sounds good," Harry agreed.
"Looks good, Super Dad," Franklin said with a smile.
"Go and knit your clothes, little tailor." George responded with a smile, and then turned to the next contestant, Frank.
Seeing that everything was going on in an orderly manner, Yang Le did not sit idle either. He began to explain the cause and effect of the incident to everyone.
"Don't worry about Gwen's comfort for now. If you're not mistaken, the group that rescued her are Spider-Men from other parallel universes. This crisis involves all parallel universes, so they gathered together."
"The initiators of this crisis, the Inheritors, are hunting down Spider-Man from all parallel universes simply because of a prophecy that Spider-Man will kill the Inheritors."
"Well, I have a question." Peter raised his head and turned his attention away from the loom when he heard this.
"Is it possible that if the Inheritors don't hunt Spider-Man, Spider-Man won't kill them either? Wouldn't that close the loop? That prophecy sounds too outrageous."
"Who knows?" Yang Le shrugged.
"Maybe those guys on the magic side are too blindly believing in these mysterious things. Anyway, they launched a hunt for all Spider-Men."
"As for why they were able to find Spider-Man so accurately, it's because they kidnapped the Spider God—Weaver, the source of all Spider-Men's power, including your Uncle George."
"Wait a minute!" Peter interrupted Yang Le's explanation again.
"Uncle George's power comes from the spider serum I concocted."
"I'm sorry, Peter." Yang Le said.
"But this is the rule. The source of all Spider-Man's power is the Spider Totem, and the Weaver Master chooses those who can inherit this energy."
"This..." Peter looked incredulous, his worldview was once again challenged.
"Don't think about that." George slapped Peter on the head, pulling him out of his thoughts.
"In other words, all we have to do is beat up the Sorens family, right?"
"That's right." Yang Le nodded.
"Then stop talking nonsense." George twisted his neck and stretched his limbs.
"We'll talk about the rest on the way. Peter and the others' suits are ready. I can't wait to kick their butts. It's time to let them know the wrath of Super Dad."
