Darkseid's face darkened. This was the last thing he wanted to hear. If the genetic source used to mass-produce Parademons was contaminated, then his Parademon factory would be nothing more than a pile of garbage.

"I am currently in a demon-like factory. I have inspected it, and all the raw materials in this factory have been contaminated. Whether it is the gene source or the eggs, they are no longer usable."

Disad threw the jar containing the genes aside; the contents had already turned into pus, and it was estimated that not even a trace of the genes could be extracted.

"Stop, Dessaid." Darkseid was no longer willing to do something so pointless.

"Disad, release Orion and Scott."

"What?" Disad thought he had misheard.

“I said to release Orion and Scott. I remember you once said that you had destroyed their will.”

"Yes, sir, I did manage to do it, but I haven't perfected the control mechanism yet..."

“No need,” Darkseid interrupted Dessaad. “I just need the two of them to buy me some time so I can get to Earth without anyone noticing.”

"You want to go to Earth?"

After remaining silent for a while, Wyman asked, "Do you intend to launch an attack on Earth to force the Justice League to withdraw its troops?"

“You guessed pretty much right, Wyman.” Darkseid had already returned indoors by the time he spoke in the morning. His injuries had almost healed, and he came indoors to change his equipment, as the set he was wearing before was destroyed.

“Wyman, tell Steppenwolf and Kalibak to fight to the death. Then check if Grandma Kind is still alive. If she is, have her move all the Hell Spores from Apokolips to one place for me to collect.”

"Hell Spores?" Weyman was taken aback. This thing was not only scary to hear about, but its actual effects were also extremely dangerous.

Simply put, Hellspores are high-energy bombs that, once activated, become the most lethal weapons.

Apokolips has stored a large amount of Hell Spores, enough to blow up the entire planet.

Darkseid sounds like a madman for storing so many dangerous weapons in his own homeland, but humanity is no less so, knowing the dangers of nuclear weapons yet still producing a huge number of them.

Similar to nuclear weapons, Hellspores are extremely safe under normal circumstances; they can only be activated using a password.

"I admit the Justice League fought a brilliant battle, and I also admit I lost." Darkseid flew towards the agreed-upon location.

"But I don't admit defeat. I still have a chance to turn things around."

…After receiving orders from Darkseid, Disad immediately headed to the deepest part of the Apokolips prison.

Desad knows this place like the back of his hand. After all, this is practically his home turf. Any interesting creatures he catches are sent here so he can have a good time playing with them.

Disadad liked creatures with great endurance because they could withstand his torment and allow him to enjoy himself more.

Throughout his long life, Darkseid's two children were actually his favorites.

The first one is Orion. Compared to that idiot Kalibak, he is the one who inherited Darkseid's superior genes, with a powerful physique and superior intelligence.

Orion could have been a great help to Darkseid, but he was taken hostage in a peace talks between Apokolips and New Genesis when he was young.

The Father, the leader of the new founding star, highly valued Orion and personally taught him.

Under the guidance of the Father, Orion became less and less like a new god of Apokolips. He began to oppose Darkseid's will and constantly antagonized Apokolips.

This was unacceptable to Darkseid, so he set a trap to lure his son Orion and captured him.

At first, Darkseid still considered their past relationship and tried to reason with Orion, but he later found the latter to be stubborn and gave up on the approach of appeasement.

Scott wasn't as lucky as Orion. As soon as he arrived on Apokolips, Darkseid didn't even bother to put on an act and simply dumped him into the hands of Disadad.

The goal is the same as with Orion: to destroy their will, rebuild their values, and mold them into something that Darkseid can use.

Scott suffered much more; he endured torment for far longer than Orion. Had Disad not deliberately restrained himself, Scott would probably have collapsed long ago.

Disad sighed. He had originally wanted to prolong the task, since it was rare to find such durable toys, but now he had no choice but to give up his own.

Darkseid's meaning was clear: he wanted Orion and Scott to do as much as possible to buy time, which was essentially sending them to their deaths.

"Forget it." Disad smacked his lips. "Survival is more important than a handy toy. As long as I live long enough, I can have as many players as I want."

Consoling himself with this thought, Disad has already entered the deepest part of the Apokolips prison, where only two people are imprisoned: Orion and Scott.

The two men were completely naked, hanging up like two pieces of flesh.

Both of them were top-notch strongmen, with physiques like works of art carved by knives and axes, but neither of them seemed to have much energy or spirit.

Like two puppets, they showed no reaction to anything around them. Even when Disad walked in and the closed door was opened, it did not elicit the slightest response from them.
