Barbara spent five minutes explaining the whole story.

Including her relationship with Robin, her relationship with Artemis, and a series of adventures she experienced in Gotham and Metropolis, she practically revealed her measurements.

It was only then that Roy remembered that the girl in front of him was the one he had rescued a few days ago when he returned to the operation.

Actually, it's not that Roy has face blindness; the girl in front of him is just too different from the one from that day.

Come to think of it, Barbara was terrified the day she was kidnapped by the Joker. Plus, being tied up, blindfolded, and gagged naturally changed her appearance quite a bit.

It could even be said that the hostage who was terrified a few days ago is completely different from Barbara today.

The only similarity between the two might be their striking red hair.

However, the fact that Barbara was able to reveal so much information does not mean that Roy would believe her. Because of his own tragic experiences, he has now become almost as suspicious as Batman.

After listening to Barbara's entire testimony, Roy still pulled a rope from the robotic arm and tied her up.

"Hey!" Barbara looked at the boy with the steel right arm in front of her. "Go easy!"

"If what you're saying is true, then I apologize in advance," Roy said coldly.

"However, I hope you understand that we really can't afford to gamble right now. Once Dick wakes up, the truth will come out."

“Dick has at least three fractures,” Barbara complained. “He might also have a concussion, and who knows when he’ll wake up? Am I supposed to keep getting your help all this time?”

As Barbara spoke, she kept glancing at another little girl standing to the side, the one whose voice had been stammering earlier.

This little girl is none other than Cassandra, who has only recently learned to speak. Through her own tireless efforts and with the help of Yang Le and Diana, she is finally able to speak.

Although it's not yet coherent, it's certainly a big step forward, and I believe Cassandra will soon be able to speak eloquently.

Barbara's meaning was clear: she wanted to see if Cassandra, the little girl, would feel sorry for her in such a miserable state and plead for her to be untied.

However, Cassandra, this seemingly well-behaved little girl, was even more ruthless than Barbara had imagined. She completely ignored her and looked directly at Roy.

"Save Dick."

Because of her stutter, Cassandra rarely uses long and complex sentences in emergency situations unless absolutely necessary; she usually expresses her meaning with one or two words.

Roy nodded and then said, "Cassandra, you watch over her for now. If you're scared, you can go to the warehouse and call out the pair of alien sisters to help you. I'll go check out the car outside first."

After saying that, Roy walked straight out of the room, clearly intending to talk to the injured Dick.

No matter what Barbara said during this time, Cassandra ignored her until Roy returned carrying the unconscious Dick.

"I examined him and found that Dick had at least five fractures, many external injuries, and a head wound. He definitely had a concussion. Although he received some simple bandaging, it was better than nothing."

"We need to take him to the warehouse; that's where he can be treated as quickly as possible."

Cassandra nodded, and since Roy was carrying the unconscious Dick, she naturally picked up the bound Barbara.

Barbara was surprised by the strength of this little girl. Although she was quite self-conscious about her figure and was definitely not overweight for her age, she was certainly not someone a little girl could lift alone. Seeing Cassandra's calm and composed demeanor, it was clear that this wasn't her limit.

'Another superhuman,' Barbara concluded.

Unfortunately, she was wrong. Cassandra's superhuman strength came from the equipment Yang Le had crafted for her.

The two wasted no time and strode into the warehouse through the back door.

Pushing open the wooden door, Roy stepped aside to let Cassandra go in first. This wasn't about respecting the elderly or giving priority to ladies; it was because only the latter had the key to open the secret base.

Cassandra walked into the warehouse and went straight to several large wooden barrels piled up in the corner. She stood in front of the middle barrel and tapped the lid three times rhythmically. Then the cork in the barrel unfolded and turned into a camera.

The camera scanned Cassandra, then simply opened the lid, revealing a passage about one person's height.

This access control system was created by Yang Le based on Hufflepuff from Harry Potter, as a way to satisfy his own little whims.

Cassandra waved to Roy behind her, signaling him to follow, and then stepped into the barrel first.

Once both of them were standing inside the barrel, the lid was closed again, and after a barely perceptible sway, the elevator began to operate.

Barbara loved the playful design, though it would have been even better if she hadn't been carried in like a sack of corn.

"drop!"

A moment later, the elevator stopped, and then the elevator doors opened, revealing a technological world that was completely different from the warehouse on the ground floor.

"Wow!" Barbara exclaimed, taking in everything. "This place is amazing."

"Thank you." Cassandra responded to the girl's mutterings on her shoulder. After all, she was Yang Le's daughter, and it was only natural for her to respond on behalf of her father.

"You two are back."

Just then, a beautiful girl with orange skin walked over. She had the same red hair as Barbara and immediately caught Barbara's attention.

Green eyes and orange skin are clearly not characteristics that earthlings can possess, although the possibility of some kind of superhuman cannot be ruled out.

“We’re back.” Roy nodded. “Coriantan, can you get the healing chamber set up? A friend of mine needs his treatment.”

“Of course.” Corian nodded, then she noticed Dick, who was being held in her arms.

"My God, his injury is so serious, it could be fatal for an Earthling. We can't delay any longer."

Kolian turned around, lightly touched the ground with her toes, and rushed into the interior as if flying. A moment later, she stopped in front of a huge cylindrical glass cabin.

After operating the control panel in front of the glass cabin for a moment, Corean nodded to Roy and the others who had just walked over.

"Alright, I've finished adjusting the treatment chamber. You can put it in now. In ten minutes, it will give you back a healthy friend."
