Chapter 13: Gwen's plan to win over Mary Jane

Chapter 13: Gwen's plan to win over Mary Jane
"Uh, Habby, you always say some very clichéd things." Gwen rolled her eyes at Yang Le, then walked towards the other members of the band with her lunch.

"By the way, have you decided on the name of your band?" Yang Le asked.

"Mary Janes," Gwen replied without looking back.

"Uh, is this rock 'n' roll?" Yang Le was stunned when he heard the name.

Gwen turned to look at Yang Le, stretched out her hand and made a pistol gesture to him.

"You don't understand, old man."

After saying that, he left happily while humming his favorite song without paying any attention to the confused Yang Le.

"Welcome back." Mary Jane looked at Gwen who came back briskly. "How about some time together?"

"Please! Mary!" Gwen looked at Mary Jane angrily, and at the same time turned to glare at the smirking Glory.

"Okay, stop teasing her, Mary." Betty stood up to speak for Gwen, and then she showed a malicious smile.

"By the way, Mary, what do you think of Peter?" Betty pointed at Peter, who had returned to Yang Le dejectedly. "He seems to be fascinated by you."

"Nothing." Mary Jane shrugged. "You don't even dare to talk to me, and you expect me to feel anything."

"But I heard that he beat Thompson from the football team until he cried. He seems to have a nickname, called..." Betty bit the straw and thought hard.

"Werewolf Peter." Gwen whispered beside him. This nickname is really too embarrassing. I guess only Peter can say it proudly.

"Yes! That's it!" Betty clapped her hands in agreement, then looked at Gwen who reminded her. "By the way, Gwen, you and Peter are also very familiar with each other, right?"

"Well, Peter and Happy are both my good friends." Gwen nodded with some emotion. "Peter and I have known each other since we were in junior high school. My dad was a stubborn old man back then, and he didn't really like my music. Peter was my only audience."

"At that time, Peter and I were very similar. We both had few friends, but Peter was worse off. He was always bullied by the bad boys in the class."

"Bullying?" Glory was clearly unconvinced. "He dared to fight Thompson, who was two sizes older than him. How could he be bullied?"

"That's because of the harpy." Gwen said this without even noticing that the corners of her mouth were slightly raised. "The harpy changed Peter, and it also affected me."

Looking at the sisters' curious eyes, Gwen told them about her encounter with Yang Lexiang with a hint of boasting.

"A hero saving a beauty? No wonder you're so fascinated by him, Gwen." Betty whistled and teased, but Gwen had already developed a resistance and simply ignored Betty's teasing.

"Harpy is such a good friend," Glory exclaimed.

"Even I'm a little obsessed with him," Mary Jane said with a smile, and everyone could tell he was joking except for one person.

"Really? He's just an old man who can't keep up with the trend." Gwen frowned, but she regretted it as soon as she said it. Sure enough, the other three were looking at her with smiles.

"Oh! Please!" Gwen couldn't help but hold her forehead. Just as she was about to explain, suddenly, Gwen had a flash of inspiration and she thought of a good idea.

"Oh, yes, yes, I do have a little bit of feeling for him, okay." Gwen shouted softly, while secretly glancing at Yang Le who was chatting with Peter.

The portrayal of a young girl whose secrets are revealed is vivid and lifelike.

"Sorry, Gwen, we didn't expect you to react so strongly." Betty thought Gwen was angry and quickly apologized.

"I'm so sorry Gwen." "My bad."

Mary Jane and Glory spoke sheepishly, Mary Jane even stepping forward and gently patting Gwen on the back. "You fell into my trap." Gwen hid her calculated expression in her hair, then raised her head after managing her expression.

"It's okay, I'm just a little irritated." Gwen scratched her hair in frustration. "I don't know how to face this relationship, and I don't know what Happy thinks of me."

"How could that be, Gwen? You're so great." Mary Jane comforted Gwen. "You're so talented and so beautiful."

"Yeah, your figure..." Betty wanted to continue praising Mary Jane, but she stopped immediately after taking a look at Gwen's breasts.

"Your legs are very beautiful. Don't boys nowadays like to look at legs?" Glory quickly followed up and glared at Betty. If you don't know how to compliment someone, then don't compliment them.

"Thank you so much." Gwen looked at the two of them with a frown on her face. Although she didn't care about her figure, Betty's hesitation still made her feel a little hurt. At the same time, Gwen also decided that she would severely blackmail Yang Le and Peter after the matter was completed.

"But Harpy seems to only see me as a friend."

"How about a date?" Glory suggested. "There's something magical about being alone with someone. If he's interested in you, he might act differently when you're alone."

"A date! I'm too embarrassed to ask." Gwen whispered in a feigned shyness.

"You can just pretend to be normal and ask him out."

"Then Harpy will definitely ask Peter to come along. They have a very good relationship, and Harpy will definitely not leave Peter behind when they go out to play."

The true purpose was finally revealed. After half a day of preparation and guidance by Gwen, they finally entered the final step of the plan.

"That's right, now all it takes is for someone to say that." Gwen still looked lost on the surface, but her heart was pounding.

Gwen's expectations were not disappointed, Glory and Betty looked at Mary Jane at the same time.

"Mary, why don't you ask Peter out so Gwen can have some time alone together."

"Well done, Private First Class Glory!" Gwen gave Glory a thumbs-up in her heart.

"Me?" Mary Jane pointed at herself in surprise.

"Yeah, anyone can see that guy is super mini. He wouldn't refuse if you asked him out."

"That's right! Private Betty!" Gwen pinched her thigh secretly and felt like she was about to laugh.

"That's not a problem." Mary Jane flipped her hair and said nonchalantly.

"But I'm afraid he might misunderstand something. After all, I really don't have any feelings for him."

Mary Jane didn't like cowardly people, and Peter behaved too poorly in front of her. Although she had just heard Betty talk about his heroic deeds, how much could she believe the rumors?
"How about this." Gwen looked at Mary Jane hopefully. "Come with me and ask them out, and then you can help me get Peter away. Please, Mary, my good captain and good friend."

"This..." Mary Jane thought about it again and again, and finally nodded helplessly. "Okay, but let me make it clear first, I will only help you here once."

"I love you so much, Mary!" Gwen jumped up happily and threw herself on Mary. The emotions that had been suppressed for a long time burst out at this moment, seeming particularly real.

"What's wrong with them?" Peter looked at the suddenly lively girls' group in confusion. "Did something good happen?"

"I think instead of worrying about that, you should think about what you're going to wear to your date next week and how you're going to thank Miss Gwen."

Yang Le said calmly while biting the straw.
