Chapter 1055 Yang Le: First of all, I don't discriminate against Gotham people.

At the beginning of the secret plan, the members of the Young Justice League were worried that they would be discovered by the adults in the Justice League.

But it turned out they were overthinking it. A large-scale prison break occurred at Belreve Prison, leaving the Justice League with no time to attend to them.

Bellevue Prison is no ordinary prison; it's a prison specifically for superhumans and supervillains. Most of the criminals captured by the Justice League are imprisoned here.

For example, Mr. Freeze, Captain Cold, and Killer Frost, who committed crimes more than a year ago, are all imprisoned here. Others include members of the Injustice League (not really) who were captured not long ago, and Bane, who was captured in San Priscilla.

Oh, right, there's also the brain demon in Kura who was mentally disabled by the Martian girl's mental attack. Considering his level of danger, although he no longer has the ability to commit crimes, he was still placed in Belreve Prison. Of course, out of humanitarian considerations, a guard was hired to take care of him.

But it's no use talking about this now, because Belreve Prison is now deserted. The only people left in the prison are the officials cleaning up the mess; all the criminals have escaped.

This is arguably the biggest scandal at Belreve prison since it was converted into a super-criminal prison.

"Berliffe prison was not breached from the outside; the key to this incident came from inside the prison."

Batman stood in front of the projection and explained to the members of the Young Justice League.

"The superintendent of Belreve Prison, Hugo Strange, was the one who removed all the superhumans' safety collars and then opened the cell doors."

As Batman spoke, he pulled up Dr. Hugo's file, revealing a bald head that rivaled Lex Luthor's.

"Faced with a large number of superhumans, the guards and superheroes stationed in the prison were no match for them. It took less than ten minutes for all the criminals to evacuate from Belreve Prison."

Have you noticed anything amiss?

Batman wanted to test him, and Robin, as the captain, was not intimidated and immediately claimed it as his discovery.

"It was incredibly fast. This speed of evacuation doesn't seem like that of a group of lawless criminals, but rather like that of a group of well-trained soldiers. Clearly, they had been planning this prison break for a long time."

Batman nodded and continued, "That's right. After arriving at the scene, the Justice League retrieved the prison's surveillance footage and discovered that the physical labor arranged by the prison and the daily training were combined into evacuation training."

"And it was Dr. Hugo who arranged all of this. Obviously, he had this idea a long time ago. It's just unknown whether he was being controlled by someone or doing it voluntarily."

"Can we find any clues from his resume?" Hai Shaoxia asked, having also been learning a lot of reasoning skills on his own during this time.

Batman pulled up Dr. Hugo's file again and said, "Before this prison break, Hugo's resume showed nothing unusual."

"Hugo Strange, whose parents are unknown, was born in an orphanage in the East Side of Gotham City. He was an outstanding student from the beginning of his schooling and graduated from Gotham State University."

"After graduation, he chose to continue as a professor of psychology and mental health at Gotham University, but soon after he left Gotham University and joined Belreve Correctional Institution."

"Why is that?" Zatanna asked, puzzled. "Why would you give up a perfectly good university professorship to work in a prison?"

“According to the Justice League’s investigation, Hugo left Gotham University to complete his thesis,” Batman explained.

“Hugo wanted to understand the psychology of supervillains, which is why he joined Belreve Prison. After all, it's the place with the most supervillains in the world, so it makes perfect sense for him to choose it.” “In short,” Batman said, turning off the projector, “the United Nations has now classified Hugo as a supervillain, so you must keep an eye on him. Also, due to the large-scale escape of supervillains, your patrol hours will be extended recently.”

"What?!" Lightning Boy clutched his head. "I really hate that Hugo guy now!"

Robin patted his friend on the shoulder and said, "Don't worry, the internet is in complete chaos right now, and everyone hates Hugo."

Even the escape of an ordinary criminal can cause a commotion in a small area, let alone the escape of a super criminal, or even a whole prison of super criminals.

"In short, we need to listen to Batman during this period."

After Batman left, Robin, as the captain, gave a final summary.

"With the patrol time extended, the three groups that were originally planned to be divided into two groups were merged again. Although this will result in a somewhat bloated workforce, safety is the highest priority in everything."

"Remember, if you discover anything unusual, you must report it immediately. You must report it immediately, understand?"

“Yes!”×N.

After Robin finished speaking, he looked at Yang Le, obviously asking the latter if he, as the guardian, should come up and say a few words. Although Yang Le usually didn't say anything, today he really wanted to come up and say a few words.

Yang Le had actually wanted to step forward as soon as Batman started speaking.

In Yang Le's opinion, even disregarding the fact that Hugo is a supervillain in the comics, there are quite a few flaws in his resume.

However, I must say this upfront: Yang Le has absolutely no regional discrimination.

First, Hugo is from Gotham; second, he graduated from Gotham University; third, he majored in psychology; and finally, he wanted to study supervillains.

The last person with a similar experience was Harleen Quezel, and I wonder if Dr. Hugo of this universe referenced her origin.

"Hugo's escape was probably orchestrated by someone, and I think he has some connection with the Illuminati."

Yang Le cleared his throat and continued, "However, I suspect Hugo is not a high-ranking member of the Illuminati. Based on current intelligence, the high-ranking members of the Illuminati are people who do not easily reveal their identities."

“You can think about Luther. He only showed up after he was sure he could control Connor. The Queen Bee is a little different, but it’s pretty much the same.”

"But Hugo is different; his actions are bound to expose him, which is not in line with the Illuminati's usual style."

“I think it makes perfect sense,” Zatanna agreed. “It’s just like those demons in hell. If they didn’t have powerful backers, even the most foolish little devil wouldn’t do something so crazy.”

"You should know that after Hugo let those criminals go free, he was immediately wanted worldwide."
