Chapter 412, Chapters 740 and 741: Declaration of War
Regardless of whether Homelander's words are true or false, as long as the Vought Group transfers the funds to her account on time, Alex Wesker will not suffer any loss.

She might even be able to use this opportunity to get more test subjects from the [Walter Group]!

Therefore, this is a sure-fire way to make money.

Thus, their cooperation was successfully achieved amidst a web of cunning and deception.

What Alex Wesker could never have imagined was that Homelander's claim that he could eliminate the side effects of the T-Fear Virus was not just empty talk.

Because the great Lord of Pleasure, Slaanesh, would never instill fear in His followers!

"Alright, I believe everyone now has a better understanding of the specifics."

Homelander spoke at the opportune moment, his gaze sweeping over each figure at the conference table, and said in a deep voice:

"Next, I will begin the first phase of technical testing in New York. I'm sure you'll all give me your full support then, right?"

"That...that's for sure!"

"That's right, we'll do whatever you say, Fatherlanders."

"Exactly, exactly, we all firmly support every decision you make."

Seeing the senior executives vying to pledge their loyalty to him, Homelander couldn't help but smile smugly. "Very good, this is the team I want."

Just then, his phone rang. He picked it up and glanced at the number; it was Victoria Newman calling. Homelander then waved to the attendees, signaling that they could leave.

After everyone had left, he pressed the answer button!

Homelander said in his usual arrogant tone, "Newman, I didn't expect you to have made up your mind so quickly. I originally thought you would pretend to hold out for two or three days before humbly deciding to compromise with me."

"No, Homelander, you're wrong."

Although Victoria Newman's voice trembled slightly on the other end of the phone, she continued with great courage:

"I just want to tell you that I've had enough of your inhuman and willful behavior, and I don't want to continue going crazy with you."

"What did you say?"

Homelander could hardly believe his ears; he couldn't believe the other person dared to speak to him like that. Somewhat annoyed, he questioned:

"Are you fucking kidding me? If so, let me tell you, this joke isn't funny at all."

"No, I'm serious."

Victoria Newman said firmly, "Homelander, you've gone too far... Even if I agree to your demands this time, you'll definitely make more and more outrageous demands again and again!"

"I know you too well. Once I compromise, it will never end."

“Homelander, your boundless desires have completely out of control, and one day you will be destroyed because of it… I don’t want to be implicated by you, so I will not become your puppet.”

"Next, I will resign from my position at the Superhuman Affairs Bureau and start a normal life as an ordinary person."

"Please stop harassing me and my daughter. If you dare to lay a hand on Zoe, even if it means death, I will expose all the despicable and vile things you and the [Vought Corporation] have done over the years!!"

"Wait a minute, are you threatening me?" Homelander asked with a grim expression.

“Listen, Homelander, the point is that you attack me first, and then I will be forced to retaliate... and this kind of war game that goes on and on will never end.”

Victoria Newman seemed to have made up her mind; her voice no longer trembled, and she slowly said:

"The only way to win this game, besides a fight to the death, is for one side to forfeit and leave the game!"

“In the past, I thought that the future I wanted was to go into politics, not for Edgar, not for Zoe, but simply because I wanted to do it, because it would make me feel safer and stop me from thinking about that crybaby who was always scared out of her wits in the Red River Collective Home when I was a child!”

“But recently, your actions have made me feel completely insecure, which terrifies me. I don’t want my daughter to die because of me… So, stepping down is the best solution!”

“No.” Homelander suppressed his anger and retorted, word by word, “In my opinion, the best way to end this game is to kill you all!”

"Homelander, you'd better not do anything reckless."

Victoria Newman's slightly nervous voice came from the other end of the phone, "Otherwise, I really will make the materials I have public."

"Then you should give it a try."

Homelander said nonchalantly, "I will kill everyone who sees this leak first, and then I will dismember your daughter bit by bit in front of you."

“Newman, I can give you one last day to reconsider. If you agree to my demands, I will be very magnanimous and let bygones be bygones. But if you continue to be stubborn and want to oppose me... I will find you and then do what I said before!”

After saying that, the man from the motherland hung up the phone.

Are you sure this will work?

In an abandoned warehouse, Victoria Newman turned to Stan Edgar and asked anxiously:
"Why do I feel like the people of my homeland, apart from being angry, haven't actually been fooled at all?"

Clearly, Stan Edgar had taught her to say those words.

As for the purpose, Victoria Newman could only guess one thing: to first provoke Homelander and thus cause him to lose his reason.

"Don't worry, he'll definitely find his way here... If he can't, then we'll notify him to come here!"

Stan Edgar said with an air of confidence, "If we don't provoke him using this method right now, he probably won't leave the [Vought Corporation] at all, because he's certain that you wouldn't dare expose his secrets with the [Vought Corporation]!"

"Otherwise, he would be no longer bound by any law or anything else, and would go on a killing spree without restraint."

"Then let's give it a try." Starlight nodded resolutely. "It's all or nothing. If we're going to die no matter what we do, then since we're going to die anyway, we might as well go all out and fight to the death!"

"so……"

She turned to Stan Edgar, "What should we do next?" "Very good."

Stan Edgar said with great satisfaction, "Listen, over the next day, I'll have someone try to turn [Locomotive] against us."

"Don't look at me like that... He's probably the easiest one to handle in the Super Seven."

"As for the newly joined Spider Woman and Lizard Warrior, I will also try to send people to hold them off."

"In that case, we only need to deal with four members of the Super Seven, including Homelander... and the Wise One can be ignored, because I know her weaknesses better than anyone else!"

As Stan Edgar explained, Victoria Newman's expression gradually shifted from skepticism to hope, and she couldn't help but interject:

"So, in the big battle a day from now, we only need to deal with Homelander, the Deep Sea, and Queen Maeve?"

Unexpectedly, Stan Edgar smiled mysteriously and immediately corrected him, "No, child... we only have Homelander to deal with."

He then stopped explaining to the others and turned to Starlight, saying, "Now the only key to victory or defeat rests on your shoulders. Can you use your abilities to blind Homelander when the battle reaches its climax, and then inject him with the virus?"

"I will do my best," Starlight said with a firm gaze.

"Very good, that's enough. I'll have someone send you a modified rifle specifically for firing darts later. Whether you'll need it or not is up to you."

Stan Edgar didn't say much. He glanced around and scanned each of the young superhumans who had come to help. "If anyone wants to quit now, it's not too late. At least we will never kill innocent people like Homelander did."

One of the young men, with curly brown hair and a muscular build, raised his hand and said, "Excuse me, if we successfully take down Homelander, will you really keep your promise and let us become members of the new Super Seven?"

The other superpowered individuals all cast eager glances at Stan Edgar, who nodded without hesitation and said, "Of course, I never break my word..."

"Besides, if you really succeed in taking down Homelander, it proves that you are stronger than him. Wouldn't it be a perfectly normal thing for you to join the Super Seven?"

A gleam of excitement flashed in the eyes of the young superhumans, and they said in unison, "Mr. Edgar, we are ready to serve you at any time!!"

……

A day passes in the blink of an eye.

A figure draped in a Stars and Stripes cape descended from the sky and landed in front of an abandoned warehouse.

Homelander pushed open the door and swaggered in, where he was greeted by Victoria Newman, who had been waiting there for a long time, and Starlight, who was standing to the side glaring at him.

"Tsk tsk, I didn't expect you to actually wake up?"

Homelander looked at the starlight and said with a wicked smile, "Actually, I visited you once in the hospital while you were in a coma. I was planning to smash your head in on the spot, but the doctor told me that you might never wake up again... and your hospital bills would only last until the end of the month, so I spared your life back then."

"Now it seems that someone paid the rest of your hospital bills?"

As he spoke, he looked at Victoria Newman with a fierce gaze, clearly mistaking her for the person who paid Starlight's hospital bills.

"That's enough, I didn't ask you to come here to argue."

To prevent Starlight from disrupting the original plan due to anger, Victoria Newman quickly stepped forward and said, "Homelander, I called you here today simply to make things clear in person."

Homelander raised a finger and rudely interrupted, "No, I remember we made that very clear during our last call."

"You either submit to me and become my puppet... or you and your daughter become corpses."

"It's that simple!!"

“You…” Victoria Newman said with some disgust, “You know what, Homelander, that’s exactly why I’m unwilling to cooperate with you. Because you will never learn how to respect others, and at the same time, you expect others to treat you like a god!”

“That’s right.” Homelander spread his hands arrogantly. “I am God!!”

Σ(°△°|||)︴

Victoria Newman was completely dumbfounded.

Are you fucking crazy?
I wasn't praising you!

Why are you getting so proud?
"But to be honest, I originally thought you would secretly choose to run away."

Homelander's gaze swept contemptuously over Victoria Newman and Starlight before him, then he glanced at the mountain of iron barrels piled up on one side of the warehouse, and said with a sneer:

"Actually, you really should have run away. That way, I would have needed to spend at least a few more days searching for you and your daughter. But now... it seems I don't need to waste my time!"

"What, aren't you going to call out all your friends hiding behind those metal barrels? You don't actually think you can fool me with this little trick, do you?"

As Homelander finished speaking, several young figures slowly emerged from behind a pile of iron barrels on one side of the warehouse. They were all students from the Godotkin Superpower School.

Among them was a Murderous girl with long, dreadlocks that reached her shoulders. Her name was Mary Morrow, and her superpowers were somewhat similar to Victoria Newman's—the ability to manipulate blood. However, she couldn't yet achieve the same level of precision in 'headshots' as the latter.

Another short-haired girl standing very close to Mary Morrow is named Li Jordan. Her superpower is quite special; she has the ability to quickly switch genders anytime, anywhere, meaning she can become a man or a woman at will.

Furthermore, she possesses completely different superpowers in both of her different gender forms.

In his male form, his body possesses exceptional resilience and unparalleled reaction speed.

In her female form, she can release energy shockwaves with vibrational properties from her palms, which look somewhat similar to the pulse energy cannon that Iron Man releases from his palms!
The third person was a muscular boy with short blond hair. His name was Luke Rivoda, but at the Godokin Superpower School, everyone preferred to call him 'Golden Boy'.

His superpowers are somewhat similar to those of the Human Torch; he can unleash streams of scorching flames from his entire body and also release jet-like flames from his feet, using the propulsion generated by the high temperature to fly at high speeds.

However, unlike [Thunderbolt], his physical resilience is also outstanding.

The last one is a silent boy with a popcorn-shaped hairstyle. His name is Andre Anderson, and his superpower is [Magnetic Field Manipulation]. He can control magnetism and magnetic fields with his hands to change the shape of metal. However, the weight limit of his magnetic manipulation is only 12 tons. He is a younger, knock-off, dyed, and greatly reduced version of [Magneto]!
