Chapter 9 Demiplane
Chapter 9 Demiplane
In just three years, the Kingdom of Dawn activated two new civilization achievements.
This also proves that there was no problem with Chen Li's arrangement. The Kingdom of Dawn is now a relatively mature civilization. It will not be adversely affected when it comes into contact with other civilizations, and it can also absorb things that are beneficial to itself to strengthen itself.
In addition to these two new achievements of civilization, other areas of the Kingdom of Dawn are also progressing rapidly. It is foreseeable that breakthrough results will be achieved in the next few decades, which will also enhance the foundation of the entire kingdom.
The preparations for the Fourth Legion are about to be completed, and then the Kingdom of Dawn will truly begin its overseas expeditions to conquer unknown planes.
However, Chen Li is still just a novice god, and his strength is still obviously far behind those demigods.
Although the Kingdom of Dawn is powerful and is not inferior to the civilizations under some demigods in many areas, it still has one shortcoming that cannot be ignored.
Not being suitable for underwater combat is the only shortcoming of the Dawn Kingdom's army.
Although the Winged People can soar in the sky and gallop across the earth, the underwater world is not their territory.
Even if one has magic that allows one to breathe underwater, if one is forced to fight underwater, the combat power that can be exerted will be greatly reduced.
In fact, the biggest difference between the divine domain of a demigod and that of a novice god like Chen Li is that there are generally multiple different intelligent races in the divine domain of a demigod, and their main areas of responsibility are also different.
An army composed of multiple different races can definitely cover the three major areas of land, sea and air. Therefore, the demigod already has the ability to conquer a plane alone, which is incomparable to the novice gods.
Including Chen Li, there is currently only one race, the Winged People, in his divine domain. They are not suitable for fighting in the ocean for the time being, and they cannot give birth to new intelligent races before becoming demigods.
As for the rule cards, they can directly materialize intelligent life, but this kind of intelligent race that is naturally born in the non-god realm cannot be recognized by the City of Ten Thousand Gods at all.
Without even the qualifications to enter the City of the Gods, they naturally couldn't teleport to other realms to fight, and manifesting was useless. After becoming a demigod, they could bestow blessings upon naturally born believers outside the divine realm, allowing them to gain recognition from the City of the Gods, but before becoming a demigod, they weren't qualified to do so.
Therefore, most novice gods do not have the ability to conquer a plane alone. Even though the strength of the Kingdom of Dawn is comparable to that of some civilizations under the command of demigods, it is still a little bit short.
The Kingdom of Dawn currently does not have an army suitable for water warfare, which is a major flaw. More importantly, in those complete planes, there are generally demigod-level powers.
With the current strength of the Kingdom of Dawn, if Adam does not take action, it will be difficult for the three legions alone, even with the addition of the fourth legion that is currently being prepared, to compete with the power of the demigod level, which is already comparable to the epic legion.
Moreover, those planes are not conquered by only one god. According to the default rules among the gods of Blue Star, any plane that has not been conquered is considered an unowned land and does not belong to whoever discovers it first.
Each god is qualified to send his own legion to conquer these unowned lands. Only when the area conquered by a certain god reaches more than 50% of the plane, the other gods must withdraw their troops.
At the same time, it is assumed that the plane belongs to someone else, and no legions are allowed to participate in the battle until the area conquered by the god drops by 50%.
With the current strength of the Kingdom of Dawn, it is still too difficult for it to face the indigenous forces in those planes and compete with the civilizations under the command of other demigods.
Therefore, Chen Li has no intention of conquering those complete planes for the time being, but plans to try some half-planes first.
Compared with those complete planes, the rules within the demiplane are not complete, and the various elements are in an unbalanced state, often showing obvious tendencies in a certain area.
Moreover, the power level of the demiplanes is generally low. Except for some special demiplanes, the power level of most demiplanes cannot reach the demigod level, making them the most suitable targets for the Kingdom of Dawn at present.
