Doomsday Traveler

Chapter 101 Remarks on the launch

Chapter 101 Remarks on the launch
It will be on the shelves tomorrow at 12 noon, and now I’m starting to play the victim (laughs.

To be honest, the performance of this book was quite terrible at the beginning. I don’t know if it was because I asked for poisonous milk from the God of Grass, but the trial failed and the data was very poor.

At that time, some friends had advised me to quit, but I felt that I could still write, and I really wanted to write this book. In addition, the good reviews that gradually appeared in the comment section, and the recommendation votes and monthly votes that increased little by little, so I persisted.

Even after the smart push, the effect was not very good at the beginning. The volume did not come in three or four days as others said.

Fortunately, I persisted, and after a few days, the effects began to show, and my collection increased little by little. It was enough for me to continue reading and recommend it.

So we pushed forward, step by step to where we are today.

So the first thing I want to thank for this book is all the book lovers. Your support is the driving force for my persistence and also my antidote.

Without you, I might have been poisoned to death by the grass god (laughs).

Then I also want to thank the gods such as Cao Shen, Mao Shen and others who gave me the chapter recommendations. Thanks to them, I got through the first round of trials, although I failed soon after.

Then I have to thank my editor for his time. Without him, there would be no book.

Someone in the comments section has already revealed my username. I used to write about entertainment, but last year I had a job change and a car accident, which forced me to stop writing. I'm changing my username now, partly because my genre has changed, and partly because I want to change my luck.

Last year was truly a bad one. The job changes weren't anything to write home about, just a few irregular periods, computer breakdowns, and daily and work-related incidents—no need to worry about them, or waste time, money, or energy—but they were always resolved.

It was this car accident that really made me feel a little overwhelmed.

I rode a bike twice last year, and both times something happened.

The first time I bought a mountain bike, the seat was not tightened, and when I was riding at high speed, the seat was pried up. My butt sank backward, and the handlebars were turned by my hands, and the bike didn't stop. I flew out due to inertia and fell flat on my face. I had to recuperate for several days, but it didn't affect my writing.

The second time was terrible. I was on a business trip and riding a shared bike when I was hit by a taxi. My tailbone hurt for more than two months and my fingers were disabled, which forced me to stop writing.

When I returned after the New Year, I originally planned to write a copy of the article. I wanted to organize and redo what I had written before. Although I no longer have much passion in this category, it is easy to achieve results after all, and there have been successful precedents.

Then when I discussed it with the editor, the editor said to me: plagiarism is a popular theme, and you can achieve success if you enjoy writing it. I have an idea, apocalypse + travel. If you can write something like "Finch", a road novel, where people depend on each other in the apocalypse, the loneliness of living in isolation, with a focus on exploration and daily life, and less bloodiness and darkness of common apocalypse novels, I think it can also be a way, but this requires some testing of proportions.

I went to see "Finch" and immediately fell in love with the atmosphere and feeling, so I wanted to give it a try.

After reading "Finch" several times, I began to try to write the beginning according to my feeling. The first version I wrote was a normal time travel, waking up, discovering encounters and difficulties, but after reading it myself and showing it to my friends, I always felt that it was not the feeling I wanted.

So I abandoned that opening and tried a different approach. Instead of following the usual clichés of character introductions, cheat codes, and dilemmas, I focused on atmosphere and feeling, and wrote this diary opening. It's unconventional, but I felt okay with it. I showed it to my editor, who approved it. We then discussed the direction of the story and key points.

Then I started writing a book, and I have persisted with it until now, and went to Sanjiang.

However, even though I got into Sanjiang, the performance of this book is actually not that good. The follow-up reading rate is not very high, and I was able to get in by force.

Fortunately, my expectations for this book were not too high. I thought about the niche subject matter and the non-mainstream start, and the fact that it did not focus on the excitement but only on the atmosphere and feeling. I would be satisfied with 500 subscriptions.

Looking at it now, the results should be able to exceed this expectation.

Okay, enough of the small talk, let’s get down to business.

I have said so much above mainly to show that I am writing this book seriously and working hard. I have discussed the plot framework with the editor, and I will undoubtedly finish it without any guarantees.

Then it will be put on the shelves at 12 noon tomorrow. Five updates of 10,000 words are ready, and I will continue to work hard after I get off work tonight.

I was originally thinking of doing 10,000 a day for a while, but when I tried it yesterday, I felt like I couldn't take it physically and mentally as a working dog.

So I will guarantee to update at least 6,000 words a day. If I am not too tired at work that day and I am in good spirits, I will try to write 10,000 words a day.

Of course, in this situation, if there is some motivation and goal, I should be able to support it, so make a promise:
Starting from the second day after it was put on the shelves, based on the daily update of 6,000 words, the average subscription exceeded 1,000, and an additional chapter was added for every additional 100 words.

The monthly vote count is now 1000. Don’t put too much pressure on yourself. If it exceeds 1500, I will add one more chapter for every monthly votes.

The character star levels are all currently level six, and one chapter will be added for each level increase.

The cute master added another chapter.

that's all.

Of course, even without all of the above, I will still work hard.

Thank you for your support, see you in the VIP chapter.
