I am a master in India

Chapter 87: Scolding

Chapter 87: Scolding
"Do you feel like someone is following us?"

"Where?" Anand turned around and saw the streets full of all kinds of poor Indians.

"Maybe it's my illusion." Ron frowned and glanced around, but couldn't see anything unusual.

"Don't worry, you didn't get a good time with that woman just now, but you'll have another chance next time."

"Shut up! I'm going back to find two foreign girls to wash my eyes over!"

"Oh! Are you not satisfied? I know other women."

"Anand, you're about to extinguish the last bit of my fascination with Indian women. It's all thanks to you."

"Okay, let's go drink. Drinking can make us forget about women very quickly!"

Anand led the way and they arrived at a simple bar. It was crowded and in order to get a seat, Ron asked the owner to serve a glass of wine to each of the drinkers before they made room on the narrow stone bench.

Ron couldn't understand why Anand came here. Just looking at the facade, he knew that this place was a so-called unlicensed bar that served excessive amounts of liquor at below-market prices.

"Is this the bar you were talking about that was so popular?"

"They have a lot of unique wines." Anand looked expectant.

"for example?"

“Beer made from cow urine.”

"Yue~" Ron felt like vomiting again.

He tried to leave, but Anand hurriedly grabbed him.

"Don't be afraid, they also have normal alcohol, such as whiskey."

"You know that's not normal?" This time it was Ron's turn to widen his eyes.

"I'm just curious. I've never drunk it before." There was curiosity in Anand's round eyes, that kind of prickly curiosity.

"So you want to try it?" Ron suddenly sat back down.

Of course he wouldn't drink cow urine, but he likes to watch others drink cow urine.

Well, just curious.

"I" Anand looked hesitant.

A glass of yellow beer was placed in front of him. The bar owner glared at him and said, "If you can finish five of them, all your bills for today will be free!"

"Really?" Anand instantly perked up at the mention of money.

The bar owner whistled and signaled with his eyes to the other patrons in the room.

Ron and Anand turned around and saw that the guests included workers, farmers, and a group of thugs, all of whom had angry and depressed expressions.

These people spoke little, or not at all. They held the same beer in their hands as Anand, and when they tilted their heads back to drink, their faces contorted violently, making them even uglier.

The sight of them grunting, groaning, and retching with every drink made Ron grit his teeth.

"See? Those are challengers." The bar owner's tone was a bit provocative, encouraging, and tempting.

Anand began to gasp, then he jerked his head back, pinched his nose and poured the wine into his mouth.

He drank the wine in one gulp with a strong determination.

The wine was so hard to drink that everyone looked like they were struggling to hold on. Some people couldn't stand it anymore and sneaked away, defeated.

Some people's will wavered, but they were encouraged by the painful expressions on the faces of their drinking buddies and they held on desperately.

Anand drank four glasses in a row without pausing, but at the fifth he hesitated.

Just when Ron thought he was about to give up, Anand took a breath and then gulped down the last of his drink.

He threw the empty glass aside, jumped into the middle of the shabby bar and started singing a runaway Hindi love song at the top of his lungs.

Everyone in the room cheered excitedly, and Ron frowned and laughed at the same time.

He decided not to talk to Anand today. He wanted to stay away from that mouth, which was spewing shit.

"Is there really cow urine in this beer?" Ron asked the bar owner quietly while everyone was singing.

The bar owner nodded towards the back door with a proud expression. Ron took a look and saw that there was a yard outside the back door. There were several cows there, and a worker was holding a bucket while it was still hot, waiting for something under the cow's stomach.

Well, his stomach started to churn again.

When Anand started enjoying his free drinks, Ron didn't touch a single one. To be honest, he had a psychological trauma about everything in this bar.

By the time the two emerged from the bar, it was already dark. Their car was still parked a few blocks away, in front of the hotel they had frequented during the day.

The dim alley was desolate and silent, and Anand was still singing. Ron kept pushing him out, and the guy kept leaning against him while he sang.

A white Ambassador slowly drove past them, then stopped and turned around.

"Stop singing! There's something wrong with that car!" Ron woke up and pushed Anand.

"What?" Anand asked drunkenly.

As they were talking, the car had already driven in front of them and blocked them at the intersection.

"Oh no! Run!" Ron pulled Anand and turned around to run away.

The speed was so fast that even the people in the white ambassador car were stunned, but the four men quickly got out of the car and chased after them.

"Ron!" Anand turned around in panic, "What happened?"

"It's definitely not a good thing. I guess they were following us during the day!"

Ron ran faster than anyone else. He hadn't drunk any alcohol, just some roti canai and grilled chicken. But Anand couldn't handle it. He was completely drunk and staggering. If Ron hadn't held him back, he would have fallen to the ground.

"I can't take it anymore, Ron!" Anand began to breathe heavily.

"Don't relax! Think about how hard you pushed that woman during the day, and sprint with all your might!"

The alley was narrow, with Ron in front and Anand behind. Further back were four men, slowly closing the distance, who had been foolish enough not to block the alley at the other end as well.

The shouting and cursing were getting closer and closer, and Anand's eyes were filled with despair. When he passed a pile of bamboo poles, he gritted his teeth, hugged a few of them, turned around and rushed towards the four men.

"Ron, run!"

"What?" Ron turned around.

He saw Anand holding a bamboo and colliding with several men. People and horses were thrown to the ground, and shouts and screams of pain were heard everywhere.

Ron paused, but immediately sped up and ran towards the street where there was a place to make a phone call.

In a split second, the four men had lost sight of Ron and were now venting their anger on Anand, who received a punch to the mouth and nose and several slaps to the face.

Anand jumped up and tried to fight back, but was quickly beaten down. The men held him down and began searching his pockets with expert skill.

Anand began to curse in a contemptuous tone, denouncing the group for beating and looting the poor, which was a disgrace to the Dalits.

He cursed them passionately, calling them cowards, Mahatma Gandhi, his non-violent non-cooperation, Buddha, Hindu gods, Mother Theresa, and Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan.

He didn't know why he was scolding these people, he just hated India at that moment.

Ron panted and found a phone to make a call. Before the shop owner could stop him, he threw over 100 rupees.

"Johnny, it's me! Quick! Bring some people over here, I need help!"

"Oh! Man, you sound bad, tell me where!"

Ron glanced at the shop owner, who made a gesture.

"Lavadan Road! The second alley from the west!"

"I'll notify the nearest people nearby. Ten minutes! Hold on for ten minutes!"

After hanging up the phone, Ron turned around and wanted to run back.

Anand, Nanu, please don't let anyone beat you to death.

"Ron?" A surprised cry made him stop in his tracks.

He gasped and turned his head, "Mary?"
