I am a master in India

Chapter 32 Hell’s Laughter Chapter

Chapter 32 Hell Joke
"Rajakannu, go and call them over."

"Who?" Rajakannu, still immersed in joy, asked blankly.

"They" Ron raised his chin towards the distance.

Those seven or eight people were originally part of Iqbal's gang. They stood further back, like small minions put together to boost morale.

Now that Iqbal had been taken away, the crowd, who had vented their anger, dispersed, but they stayed.

Ron knew that they had some ideas, and sure enough, Rajakannu went over and said a few words, and the group stood obediently in front of him.

“You also make money from foreigners?”

A few people looked at each other timidly and agreed with this statement.

“How much can you earn in a month?”

"Sometimes 300 rupees, sometimes 500 rupees." Someone answered bravely.

“How long do you work every day?”

"All day, and when there's less work, I'll work until midnight. Passengers on trains arriving at that time won't be robbed."

“Do you know my company?”

"I know!" everyone answered loudly.

"Would you like to come?"

"Yes!" They answered in unison, and the crowd who had dispersed earlier all looked sideways.

"Okay, Anand. They are in your hands. Memorize our rules within three days."

"No problem, Ron." Anand's round head shook quickly.

"Oh, right," Ron said, just as he was about to turn around, he looked at the group again, "Spread the word for me, the Mumbai Tourism Information Company is hiring. As long as they can follow the rules and speak some English, we want them all."

This news made them so excited that they could hardly contain themselves. All the colleagues who made a living in this area knew about the treatment in Ron's company.

Since the rupee depreciated and prices rose, working for Ron, the minimum monthly salary has risen to 500 rupees, and there is also commission. The most important thing is that they have no shortage of customers. If they have customers, why worry about not getting a commission?
Now that they heard Ron was hiring, the first thing they thought of was their relatives and friends. Who doesn't have six or seven siblings? They all live in slums, and the poorer they are, the more they want to have children.

Ignoring their excited chatter, Ron had things to do.

Today's farce dealt with the main culprit and united the majority. The final outcome can be regarded as peace and prosperity.

But this was not enough. The patrolman actually deserted his post halfway. Was all his previous bribes in vain?

There is also a train station.
"Master Sur"

"Huh?" Ron looked up and saw it was Rajakannu.

He stood awkwardly a few steps away, wanting to go forward but having many concerns.

"Is there a problem?"

"No. I just want to thank you very much. My wife is going to give birth to her next month..."

"Really? Congratulations." Ron smiled.

"She's always wanted to move into the slums, but I haven't saved enough money. Now that you've given me a job, I think I can fulfill her wish before the baby is born next month."

Ron was stunned. "Where do you live now?"

"We had a piece of plastic sheet on the road, so we were not wet by the rain." Rajakannu smiled freely, without any shame or embarrassment.

Ron gradually became dazed by this smile. He never knew that one had to save money to move to the slums, nor did he know that there were people who had always lived on the street.

Ron nodded, but couldn't say the words of congratulations.

Congratulations on moving into the ghetto? That joke is hell.

"Sul sahib, my wife will never believe it. A Brahmin doctor has bandaged my wound himself. This is a miracle. Glory to Lord Shiva!"

Ron didn't say anything, he waved his hand with complicated thoughts.

In India, he didn't mind being an outlaw, but when it came to the poorest people, he couldn't bear to do evil.

"Ron, today's events are very troublesome." Daruf, the administrative officer of Victoria Railway Station, was very dissatisfied with what happened today.

"Someone is trying to stir up trouble. You saw it. We have always followed the rules." "No, we almost got into a fight this time. We will be complained about." Daruf kept shaking his head.

"This won't happen again, I promise." Ron scoffed at the so-called "complaint". Ordinary Indians couldn't even recognize Arabic numerals, so what did they know about complaining?

"No, you have to move out. There are foreigners here, they see everything."

"I'll talk to Commander Desai." Ron didn't waste any words and directly stuffed 500 rupees into Daluf's pocket.

The fat-headed, big-bellied administrative official immediately shut up, glanced at the train station hall, and then walked away leisurely in front of the foreigners.

"This fat guy looks like a pig, but he's smarter than a monkey!" Ron spat fiercely in his hometown dialect.

"Ron, what are you talking about?" Anand and Vinod had walked behind him at some point.

"Nothing?" Ron said, his composure returning after a brief chat in Chinese. "Clean up the place so it doesn't affect the upcoming business."

"Leave it to us, no problem." Anand assured, patting his chest.

Now they have more than twenty people under them, and the small office was restored to its original state in no time.

Not only that, the foreigners who were watching the excitement have already learned what happened here from other people.

They admired Ron's chivalry, and such a company sounded reassuring.

As soon as the table was set, several foreigners came over to learn about their services.

"Look, it's the same as before." Anand was very satisfied with the scene before him.

“The place is still not big enough.”

"what?"

"I'm going to talk to the train station and ask them to give us a bigger space."

"Ron, we are already in a good position. No one is competing with us, so there is no need to bribe those corrupt officials."

"No," Ron shook his head. "That's not enough. I'm going to rent a piece of land here and renovate it according to the scale of an office."

"Wait, I don't quite understand." Anand began to feel confused.

"Have you seen the duty-free shop at the airport? It's like that, a high-end, formal company storefront. Oh, and I want to open a company near the airport someday."

Ron became more and more excited as he spoke. Not only did he want to decorate an office, he also wanted to hire a few receptionists who were truly fluent in English.

The team now is too makeshift. If he persists a little longer, he will be ready to implement this plan immediately.

"Wow, I heard an incredible plan!" A clear voice came from behind.

Ron, who was in high spirits, turned back subconsciously.

"Marielena?"

"Hey, man. It's only been a while since we last met, and you're already making a move. Got rich, huh?"

The visitors were his repeat customers, Mary and Lena, with whom he had worked once before.

The sisters wore sunglasses and short sports vests, and their curvy figures looked very heroic.

Ron subconsciously glanced behind them and, sure enough, there were two bulging backpacks.

"Mr. Knight, would you mind taking us to the unofficial duty-free zone sometime? I guarantee there'll be some good stuff this time."

"Ron, remember our office in the fortress area. I have an appointment with the landlord." Anand came over stealthily. "I can postpone it for a while, but you have to take care of yourself. They look very powerful."

That big thunder that was swinging around was so powerful.

Ron rolled his eyes at him and turned to Mary and the others.

"You are most welcome, but before that, you two pretty girls may as well enjoy the freedom of Bombay. In two days I will be your guide myself."

"OK, we'd love to have your services."

Wow, that’s so sexy, the eyes of the Indian men in the train station are almost popping out.

Oh, Ron is just too busy. He has never really enjoyed the treatment given by this Indian master.

PS: A few words of advice: I hope to write a story that captures the diverse aspects of Indian society. I'll also touch on the caste issue later. The story is just beginning, so I hope you'll be patient. Thank you!
