Chapter 289 The Human Cauldron is Completed!

Chapter 289 The Human Cauldron is Completed!
Besides the dragon and phoenix pendants, there were many other sacrificial objects, such as compasses and squares.

The Nuwa and Fuxi paintings from the Tang Dynasty depict these two deities, who are in charge of rules and regulations and are the ancestors of human civilization.

The most important thing is the instrument of rules and regulations, which can accommodate all human laws and regulations. Without rules and regulations, nothing can be accomplished.

The compass, or circle compass, is used to draw circles. The ancients believed that the heavens were round, hence the compass was used to draw the "heavenly net".

The character 矩 (jǔ) is used to draw right angles and to represent squares. The ancients considered it to represent a square, thus it could be used to construct a "grid."

Within the rules lies the universe, within Yin and Yang, within space, within time, and within the framework of all meaning.

Aside from the rules, there were other ritual objects: scales and weights symbolizing fairness; four ritual objects for worshipping the four seasons; and five-grain measures and five-colored pottery for worshipping the gods of the land and grain…

There are brick carvings, stone carvings, and wood carvings of fish, sheep, cattle, horses, pigs, dogs, chickens, ducks, dragons, phoenixes, unicorns, cranes, turtles, monkeys, deer, and so on...

These are all ordinary things, but after the ritual, they become "enshrinement" and "suppressing objects"...

Previously, Song Wuji obtained these things only by breaking down statues of gods and defeating evil gods.

"Did these protective artifacts and sacred objects come from here?"

"Ordinary talismans and consecrated objects are basically like this, but if you want a more important and powerful talisman or consecrated object, you need a large-scale ritual, and you also need to be made of very special materials. Most importantly, it must have merit, be divine, have participated in some major historical events, or be a part of the long river of time itself."

"It may symbolize law and order, prosperity, power, stability, abundance, victory in war, or the progress of culture."

Lin Fajing said, "For example, the ordinary iron sword left behind by the patriarch, because it was left by the patriarch, represents the orthodoxy of Jingming and is a treasure of Jingming!"

“For example, the incense ash in the incense burner is from my temple. If the ash is separated and sent to other Taoist temples, those temples will become my Jingming branch temples.”

"For example, the Han Dynasty's Wuzhu coin, because it was minted by the powerful Han Dynasty, was believed to carry the national fortune of the Han Dynasty and has been circulated ever since..."

"For example, the Imperial Seal of the Qin Dynasty, which marked the beginning of unification; the Nine Tripods of Yu the Great, which established the concept of the Nine Provinces; or any other artifacts."

"This is a sign of the dynasty's longevity."

"Even now, this majestic cauldron, these rules, and all these brick, stone, pottery, and clay artifacts will have their own meaning a hundred years or a thousand years from now. They will have destiny, inheritance, and great significance."

"In the heavens, they are the sun, moon, and stars; on earth, they are mountains and rivers; and among people, they are you, me, and all living beings." Song Wuji realized something: "They are all living beings in the rolling tide of history."

"Yes!"

"Since the ancient distinction between humans and apes, the only difference has been the use of stones, wooden sticks, and the eating of raw meat and drinking blood..."

"Then someone discovered the fire!"

Therefore, the tribespeople were able to eat cooked food and were no longer afraid of the cold winter.

But wildfires are hard to keep alive, so some people started to make fire by drilling wood and striking flint.

People commemorated him and regarded him as Suirenshi.

"Someone has discovered the cave."

"But the cave was cold and damp, and even with a fire pit, it was difficult to keep warm, and the people suffered from all kinds of diseases."

"So some people built houses imitating birds' nests, and people no longer had to live in caves, and were not afraid of snake and insect bites or cold and damp air."

"Some people die from illness."

"Then the people of the tribe identified medicinal herbs and used them to treat illnesses."

"He compiled the classics and tasted all kinds of herbs."

"Honored as Shennong!"

"Someone discovered copper and smelted it to make soldiers!"

"Some people use knotted ropes to record events."

"Someone observed the heavens and created a calendar!"

"Someone is guiding us in farming!"

"Someone created writing!"

"Someone is recording history..."

"Everything, in essence, is a choice made by people to cope with the various changes in survival! Invention!"

"These choices are the reason for the rise of humanity and the beginning of humanity becoming the protagonist of the world!"

In Song Wuji's mind, all the fantastical imaginings from ancient mythology unfolded, starting from Pangu creating the world, from his towering figure standing between heaven and earth.

"After heaven and earth separated, Pangu was afraid that they would reunite, so he supported the sky with his head and stood on the earth with his feet. As a result, the sky rose one zhang (approximately 3.3 meters) each day, the earth thickened one zhang (approximately 3.3 meters) each day, and Pangu's body continued to grow!"

"...His left eye became the sun, illuminating the earth; his right eye became the moon, bringing light to the night..."

Suddenly it transformed into Nuwa creating humans...

Looking at her reflection in the water, Nuwa casually grabbed a lump of yellow mud from the edge of the pond, mixed it with water, and kneaded it in her hands, shaping it into a little doll-like figure...

……

Nuwa mends the sky!

Yi the Archer Shoots Down the Suns!

Kuafu chasing the sun!

Dayu controls floods!

The Foolish Old Man Who Moved Mountains!

These images suddenly transformed into text from elementary school textbooks in my previous life, and the sounds became emotional readings.

It eventually turned into a point of light, like a candle, but this light grew hotter and brighter.

Many other words appeared in Song Wuji's mind.

"Grass, grass on the plain, withers and flourishes every year. Wildfire cannot burn it all, the spring breeze brings it back to life."

"The country is broken, but the mountains and rivers remain; spring has come to the city, but the grass and trees grow deep. Moved by the times, the flowers seem to weep; saddened by parting, the birds startle the heart..."

"I opened the history book and found that it had no dates, was crooked and messy, and every line was written with…"

In Song Wuji's mind, a large cauldron was transformed into a model, without any gods, Buddhas, heavenly deities, or earthly spirits on it.

There weren't even any dragons or phoenixes.

There were only a few little people. Some little people were gazing at the stars, some were molding clay, some were hunting wild animals, some were digging ditches, some were cultivating fields, some were reeling silk and weaving cloth... some were tasting herbs... some were raising poultry...

These are all things that humans do, not gods, Buddhas, emperors, or generals.

Song Wuji thought to himself, "This is the way of humanity! In the vast expanse of humanity, everyone is a protagonist, and every single person is a protagonist."

Suddenly, something seemed to be blessing Song Wuji, and he was receiving a baptism.

Lin Fajing shouted loudly, "Lord of the Realm! Taotie's Essence!"

Song Wuji then threw out the essence of the Taotie.

The essence of the Taotie flew out of the jar of good and evil and landed inside the cauldron. Then the Eight Trigrams Furnace tilted and a large amount of molten copper was poured in!

"Buzz!"

The sky suddenly changed color!

It rained millet from the sky!
The ghosts and gods wept!
In the sky, millet, rice, wheat, soybeans, wild rice, and all kinds of grains fell like rain.

This is the grace bestowed by Shennong!

Suddenly, characters appeared on the tripod.

The character is composed of two strokes, one left-falling and one right-falling, forming the character for "person"; the top horizontal stroke represents the sky; and the bottom horizontal stroke represents the earth.

This is the grace bestowed upon us by Cangjie!

Then, five-colored light appeared in a corner, on which was drawn Nuwa with a human body and a snake tail, holding up five-colored stones. This was originally just a model, but now it truly revealed the light of creation.

And there's the sun that Hou Yi shot down!

The peach grove transformed from Kuafu's staff!
……

This cauldron is no longer the Taotie Cauldron!

It's not some majestic, awe-inspiring cauldron, but the Hongzhou Cauldron!

This tripod is made of [human] material!

With the completion of the Human Tripod, humanity is once again being reshaped!
The flame never dies, and we are reborn from the ashes!
