Chapter 514 Extermination Order
Chapter 514 Extermination Order
The immense impact sent Hathor's heavy Terminator armor sliding back several meters, the adamantine boot soles carving two deep furrows in the rotting flesh.
The power of the Great Impure One far surpasses that of Grot; each of its attacks carries a physical impact like an avalanche and a corrupt spiritual pressure that erodes the soul.
Amid the heavy recoil from the parrying hook, Hathor issued a cold, clear, and unquestionable command into the internal communicator: "Gabbro! Target: Core coordinates of the Rotting Fortress! All light spear arrays, saturate coverage! Open fire immediately!"
The Bastion's physical and psionic shields have been removed, and the orbital strike path is now unobstructed!
Almost simultaneously with the issuance of the command, a glaring evacuation signal lit up on the tactical interface inside Hathor's helmet.
"Attention all units! Psionic beacon activated! Countdown begins! Prepare for forced teleportation evacuation! Repeat, prepare for forced teleportation evacuation!" Loken's cold voice rang out in all the Ash Knights' communication channels.
Across the battlefield, the surviving Ash Knights did not hesitate for a moment. The veterans, heavy gunners, and technical sergeants of the Fifth Company, along with the Terminator squad led by "Anvil" Qasim, quickly moved toward the nearest psionic beacon flashing blue light.
Intense psionic fluctuations and the smell of ozone filled the air. A blinding blue energy light instantly enveloped the adamantine armor of every warrior. Their figures distorted and blurred in the light, and with a low hum of space being torn apart, they disappeared in large numbers—teleported back to the safe orbital platform at the last moment before the light spears descended.
Inside the decaying hall, Hathor's molten gold eyes were fixed on the furious, charging Great Impure One, Gugaggu.
The greatsword and iron hook tore through the foul air in a final, desperate strike.
Her goal was crystal clear—to hold back this blasphemous creation and ensure it could not escape back to the protection of the warp before destruction came.
Instead of responding to the transmission signal immediately, she held the "Worldbreaker" horizontally in front of her, and the emergency thruster nozzles on the back of her power armor instantly lit up with blue light, assuming a stable defensive stance. With a deadly attack and a solid defense, she pinned Guga Gu firmly to the spot.
Gugagu sensed a deadly threat from the heavens that could annihilate it completely. It roared with extreme terror and rage, its bloated body bursting with filthy psionic energy in an attempt to put up a final resistance, but it was firmly restrained by Hathor's precise parries and counterattacks.
The giant ship "Gabbro" suspended high above the rails, its bow main weapon array and side light spear turrets, already fully charged, suddenly burst into destructive light!
Several gigantic light spears, several times thicker than before and embodying the full firepower of the warship, tore through the thin and polluted atmosphere of the planet Elegy VII with unparalleled precision, like the final judgment spears hurled by the gods. They ionized the air along their path, leaving behind scorching plasma trails.
The light spear ignored the remaining physical structure of the fortress, carrying pure matter annihilation energy, and pierced straight down!
The target is the core energy node of the fortress provided by Hathor and locked by the think tank, as well as—the Great Impure One, Gugaggu!
Just as the destructive white light was about to engulf the entire decaying hall, and just as Gugagu was completely locked onto by the energy of the light spear, Hathor's body suddenly shone with a strong blue teleportation light.
Her figure blurred in the interplay of corrupted psionic energy and the impending flames of purification, as if merging with the prelude to destruction. The next moment, a flash of light disappeared—Hathor vanished without a trace.
Almost at the same millisecond, the spot where she had just stood, along with the entire Hall of Blasphemy and the enraged Gugag, was completely engulfed and vaporized by the energy of the Light Spear that incinerates everything!
Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom—!! Terrifying explosions, a hundred times more powerful than those in the Lambda-9 area, erupted one after another in the core area of the decaying fortress!
A blinding, supernova-like burst of white light instantly engulfed Gugagu's massive, bloated body, the entire Hall of Desecration, and all the remaining core structures of the fortress!
It was a torrent of pure energy, a terrifying sight of matter being forcibly torn apart, shattered, and transformed into elementary particles.
The solid, corrosive rock vaporizes directly at extremely high temperatures, skipping the melting process; the profane metal structure melts instantly into boiling molten iron that splashes everywhere; those writhing, fleshy creatures don't even have time to scream before they are instantly carbonized and reduced to ashes!
The enormous shockwave, like a world-ending tsunami, spread and crushed outwards from the explosion center at the speed of light, compressing the air in front to its limit and emitting a piercing explosion!
Wherever it passed, the remaining walls, towers, and passages of the fortress were completely crushed and thrown into the air like fragile sandcastles, turning into dust!
The entire planet's crust groaned under this series of blows.
A gigantic mushroom cloud, a mixture of molten material, purifying flames, foul steam, and deadly radioactive dust, shot into the sky. Its violent power tore open a huge, temporarily "clean" hole in the perpetually pervasive yellow-green miasma cloud above the planet Elegy VII, revealing the cold void of space behind it!
Inside the massive and bustling hangar of the "Gabbro," accompanied by a hum that seemed to tear space apart and a blinding blue light, Hathor's imposing figure instantly appeared on the teleportation platform.
The silver-gray wolf-skin cloak fluttered slightly, and the ivory-white Terminator armor was covered with fresh scorch marks, slag, and filthy blood that had not yet dried and smelled foul.
The moment she returned, her gaze immediately locked onto the huge open launch port in front of the hangar.
There, through the thick energy shield, she and the Ash Knights who had just been teleported back witnessed the devastating scene on the planet's surface below: the destructive flames gradually dimmed, the violent shockwaves subsided, and the decaying fortress that had once stood like a planetary tumor had completely disappeared.
All that remains is a massive crater, hundreds of meters deep, with molten glass and boiling wastewater flowing along its edges, its walls gleaming with a dark red glow from the intense heat.
The bottom of the pit contained charred and twisted remnants of demonic metal and fiercely burning imperial purification fire, resembling the eye of hell.
The air was filled with the acrid smell of burning rocks, the pungent odor of ozone, and a chilling emptiness of silence, as if everything had been forcibly erased by absolute violence—all of which was clearly projected onto the eyes of the people standing solemnly in the hangar through the ship's optical array and open launch ports.
The Ash Knights watched in silence as this cataclysmic event unfolded, their eyes beneath their adamantine visors filled with primal awe and reverence for absolute power.
They looked at the figure beside them who had just returned from the core battlefield of the demons, his armor still shrouded in the stench of blood and the flames of war.
Loken stood silently at the front of the line, his head, covered by a mask, turning slightly. Cold evaluation data scrolled rapidly across the goggles, eventually all the data returning to zero, leaving only a trace of cold approval for extreme violent efficiency.
The crucible's tempering, in the most direct, violent, and undeniable way, proclaimed victory. The ashes of the empire covered and purified the filth of Nurgle.
