Chapter 325 Ancient Giant Steel Gat

Chapter 325 Ancient Giant Steel Gat
Watching those enormous creatures emerge one after another from the ice, Chen Xi felt his brain buzzing and his temples throbbing.

He gripped the edge of the control panel tightly, his knuckles turning white from the excessive force.

How exactly was this planet sealed off back then? Beneath the ice layer lies a damned green armory!
Chen Xi gritted his teeth and glared at the orc war machines that kept appearing on the holographic projection—from the Golem King Kong to the Ancient Giant, these monsters, which should only exist in apocalyptic battle reports, were now appearing one after another in front of him.

What enraged him even more was the dereliction of duty by the mechanical cultists. They had completely ignored such a massive energy reaction and metallic structure during their previous detection.
This can no longer be explained by negligence; it's downright betrayal of the Emperor! A decisive blow must be dealt!
Chen Xi's breathing became heavy, and the overflowing spiritual energy turned his eyes into a blue-white filled with lightning.

If he had known earlier that so many deadly "mushrooms" were buried under the ice, he would have preferred to build the medical dome in the Throne of the Necromancers in space rather than choose this damned frozen world.

But regret was useless now, and he forced his boiling anger back down—the most urgent task was to control the situation.

Krok is far too dangerous. Chen Xi absolutely cannot allow it to fall into the hands of these orcs, or to actually awaken.

"Pass on my orders!" Chen Xi's voice was as icy as ice. "The Silent Sisters team must maintain the void energy field at all costs and completely isolate Crocker's psionic radiation! The Mechanicus must produce a complete excavation plan for the ruins within twelve standard hours!"

His gaze swept over the trembling mechanical priests, his tone dripping with murderous intent: "Use anti-gravity engines, use subspace teleportation, even if it means cutting the entire ice field into pieces—I only care about the result!"

On the holographic sand table, the scarlet dot representing Kroc is pulsating violently.

Chen Xi knew that this ancient monster must not be awakened by the greenskins, nor could it fall into the hands of the orcs.

He had to race against time to move this time bomb to a safe place before things got completely out of control—even throwing it into a stellar furnace to destroy it completely was better than letting it become the spark that would ignite the Greens to sweep across the galaxy.

But right now, besides having Sister Silent continue to use her Void Force Field to envelop Krok, Chen Xi must find a way to stop the orcs' overwhelming mechanical army!

He stood on the command bridge, staring intently at the ancient behemoth that was awakening in the holographic projection.

This steel behemoth, pieced together from scrap metal and crazy "I think," is over thirty meters tall when standing upright, its rusty outer armor covered with crude welding marks and orc graffiti.

The "super cannon" mounted on the right arm was charging, its muzzle flashing an ominous green light, and each charge ionized the surrounding air, releasing a pungent ozone odor.

Although Chen Xi brought war machines from three entire knight families, along with a battle group of the Mechanical Guardians' Army lined up, these forces could only handle the Killing Iron Cans and the Tech-Dominant Giant Iron Cans at most.

Even when facing a giant war machine like the Golem King Kong, the Knight Mechs can still hold their own even if they risk their lives.

But to confront the Mega Gargants head-on? That's just wishful thinking! Chen Xi clearly remembered that during the War of the Beasts, Primarch Vulcan faced a Mega Gargant that was the size of a city. The Empire had to send thousands of Space Marines to join the Primarch in a boarding operation to destroy it.

(The largest ancient garbage, the grand ancient garbage level)
At this moment, Chen Xi was sincerely glad that what he was facing was not such an outrageous thing. Although the ancient behemoth he was facing was not that exaggerated in size, it was still comparable to a moving small mountain. The power of its stepping on the ice field was enough to make people shudder.

Or to be more precise, the one he is facing now can also be called "Gargant," it is a true Gargant.

This steel behemoth, pieced together from scrap metal and crazy "I think," stands tens of meters tall. Its rough outer armor is covered with orc graffiti and rusty rivets, and its two thick mechanical legs leave huge footprints on the frozen ground with every step.

Its head is sculpted into the ferocious faces of Gao Ge and Mao Ge, with a single blood-red eye flashing with an ominous light, and its huge mouth, welded from the armor plates of a wrecked spaceship, spewing black smoke and sparks.

The Ancient Titans are the Orcs' largest land-based combat units, and these towering war machines are comparable to Imperial Titans in both size and power.

Its body, pieced together from scrap metal, was covered with a variety of deadly weapons: its right arm was a "super cannon" as thick as the barrel of a Leman Rustank, which emitted a teeth-grinding buzzing sound every time it was charged; its left arm was equipped with a huge powered claw, with the limbs of some unfortunate soul hanging on its sharp metal teeth; and several rocket launchers and automatic turrets stood on its back, ready to unleash death in all directions at any moment.

This thing doesn't have a fixed design—expecting a bunch of green-skinned creatures to create two identical things is wishful thinking.

Their construction method—which was essentially a pile of junk and then "I figured" it could move—made each of these ancient junks unique: some had huge horns on their heads, some had fire-breathing boilers on their backs, and some even had exhaust vents that spewed green smoke from their rear ends. Even the orcs themselves couldn't quite explain the differences between these colossal behemoths; they only knew that they were all "WAAAGH!"

But one thing is certain: their main weapon, once fired, is enough to annihilate an entire unit. Chen Xi witnessed firsthand the green energy beam fired from that "super cannon" sweep across the battlefield, instantly vaporizing half a company of Astral Army soldiers, along with three Chimera armored vehicles, turning them into charred wreckage.

Only the Imperial Titans, who were comparable to them, could confront them head-on and destroy them.

Right now, Chen Xi's only Titan Legion is still far away in Kharkiv, and he must use his mortal flesh and blood to stop the advance of this steel behemoth.

(Giant Giga Drag in the 1990s)

However, just as Chen Xi felt he had to use human lives and sacrifices to stop this thing, a certain possibility suddenly came to his mind.

"May the Emperor protect us! If it can be done..." Chen Xi thought of a possibility. If possible, he could use Titan to stop this ancient behemoth without having to sacrifice human lives to stop its continued advance.

Having made up his mind, Chen Xi quickly withdrew his consciousness from the 40K world.
