Chapter 178. Lilies: Ho-Oh can be resurrected? How can we possibly lose now!
As the Sky Angels played their magnificent Dawn Victory March, Lilith and the others, under the watchful eyes of the crowd, strode proudly into the gates of the Starting Land.

They finally fulfilled their promise before setting out, bringing a new victory back to Ian and to the Church of Dawn.

Lugia took the lead, wearing the Moonlit Crown, and the laws of the storm lifted her as she floated into the city gate.

Following them were Lilies, Rock, and Vasty.

Each of them gripped a staff tightly. The power of the magic gods, coupled with the confidence forged from recently defeating the Demon King's projection, made the three of them shine brightly in the eyes of the hundred races of the Origin Land.

Following them were the elite warriors of Dawn who had set out together. Each of them was above the level of an elite knight or mage. The combined aura of them, along with a bunch of Leviathans that had been dealt with, and even three Envy Sin Servants, made them look extremely terrifying.

However, they received the least attention at this moment, after all, before them were the only three god-level beings in the history of the Rhodes Continent, as well as a proper sea god.

As the victorious crowd returned to the city, a cacophony of noise gradually rose and enveloped the area.

The Dwarf King and the four dragon chieftains who had just arrived at the starting point that day stood relatively close together, watching Lilies and the others return to the city.

Vasti immediately noticed the four dragon clan leaders, raised an eyebrow, and looked smug.

"This guy……"

The White Dragon Clan Chief curled his lip, looking displeased, and said:

"If it weren't for the blessing of dawn, would he even have had the chance to pretend?"

While the three passed by, the dwarf king carefully sensed their presence, and finally spoke with a tone that seemed to express a sense of helplessness and longing.

"This is the power of the God of Magic... He's definitely not on the same level as Sages and Legends... He's too strong!"

Hesto, standing to the side, scratched his head and muttered to himself:

"Shouldn't we be focusing our attention on His Majesty the Sea God?"

After saying that, Hesto glanced at Lugia again. Under the crown of the Moon Ring, Lugia's divine power was even more dazzling. Hesto swallowed hard.

"The god who controls the sea, his holiness is truly emanating from his very bones... just like His Holiness the Pope."

"Idiot, that's not something you should be concerned with!"

The Dwarf King smacked Hesto on the head in exasperation and muttered:
"Lord Lugia and Lord Ho-Oh are the true deities who wield divine authority; they are subordinate gods of the Lord within the Dawn Pantheon!"

"Instead of looking up to Her Majesty Lugia's untouchable divine position, we should think about how we can become a God of Magic like the Elf Queen and the others!"

"This is the power that can be seen and touched, yet it represents a new limit to the life force of the creatures on the continent of Rhodes!"

Hesto chuckled, and after a long pause, muttered to himself:

"I'm still more interested in Redstone Technology."

The Dwarf King shook his head and said nothing more, carefully sensing the fleeting pressure of the Archmage that Lilies and the others had felt when they passed by.

If he can gain some insight into it, it might help improve his strength.

On the other side, the White Dragon Clan Chief's gaze lingered on Vasti for only a moment before he whispered:

"I've heard that His Holiness the Phoenix King, the God of Life, has already taken up residence on the canopy of the Ancient Tree of Life in the Land of Beginnings..."

"You don't need to hear about things like this, do you?"

Chief Huanglong rolled his eyes and pointed outside the city.

"It's obvious that the life force over there is incredibly strong..."

"Tsk..."

The White Dragon Clan Chief curled his lip.

"The elves are truly favored by His Holiness the Pope. This guy Vasti has been here for so long, doesn't he know what to do for the dragons?"

With their current strength, Lilies and the others could clearly hear the murmurs of the people from the Beginning Ground.

However, they don't care about that right now.

Crossing the gates of the central district, they went straight to the square in front of the church, where Ian, with a relieved smile on his face, was waiting for them to report the great victory.

The closer they got, the more excited everyone became.

This was the first time Lilies and her companions had gone on an expedition as clergy of the Church of Dawn.

This was also the first time that Lilies and the others had defeated the Demon King's projection on their own without relying on Ian.

For them, for their respective races, and even for the entire continent of Rhodes, this was a momentous event that marked the beginning of a new era.

This time, they truly accomplished an epic feat.

With anticipation of presenting a great victory and awaiting praise, the group stopped a hundred paces in front of Ian.

Lilies stepped forward, looking at Ian with overwhelming emotion, countless words she wanted to say finally condensing into a few short sentences.

"Your Holiness, we have brought back the victory you deserved!"

After a pause, Lilies finally realized that she was currently the center of attention, and simply saying this would be somewhat out of place.

She quickly organized her thoughts to continue, but Ian raised his hand to interrupt her. "Wait a moment."

Upon hearing this, the entire arena fell silent instantly, and Lilies and the others were also somewhat stunned.

Ian's gaze fell upon the corpses of the powerful warriors that the Dawn Warriors had brought back behind him.

In the utter silence, Ian slowly began to speak.

"This victory, this glory, should be shared by all of you; no one should be absent."

As soon as he finished speaking, everyone realized that they were about to witness another miracle of resurrection, Ian raised the Staff of the Guardian of the Holy Land in his hand.

This time, Ian did not unleash Heroic Immortality directly as he did last time.

Because the number of Dawn Warriors who went on this expedition was small, but each of them was very strong, and with the three god-level warriors, Lilies and the others, watching over them, the casualties were not too serious.

To put it simply, there were only a little over a hundred people.

Heroes are immortal, but six or seven uses are enough.

But Ian has a simpler and easier way than Hero Immortality: to revive everyone at once.

"Phoenix King!"

As Ian called out, a rainbow shot into the sky from the area where the Ancient Tree of Life was located in the distance.

Amidst the rainbow light, the Phoenix King flapped its wings and arrived.

Wearing a crown embodying the laws of life from an ancient tree of life, and adorned with a rainbow symbolizing happiness.

For a moment, it made Phoenix King look much more handsome.

"In the name of dawn."

Ian’s tone was full of divine compassion.

"Whoever believes in Him will have eternal life!"

With a clear yet resounding cry, Ho-Oh enveloped the fallen warriors in holy flames.

Ian's immortality also extended to the rest of them.

The pure white and vast holy light transformed into a curtain of light, turning the world in everyone's eyes into pure white for a moment.

I don't know how much time passed, but as the pure white gradually faded and my vision hadn't returned, I heard a noise in my ears.

First came the sound of a heartbeat and breathing appearing out of nowhere, followed by rustling noises.

Once the world before everyone's eyes returned to colors other than white, they saw that the hundreds of lifeless corpses that had been lying on the ground had regained their vitality.

Even Lilies and the others, who had already witnessed the miracle of resurrection, were still speechless with shock this time.

They knew their Pope could be resurrected, but...

This newly emerged God of Life can actually do that?
The whole world was as quiet as if it had been muted.

Ho-Oh landed next to Ian and affectionately nuzzled him.

After this giant creature donned the crown of the Ancient Tree of Life, it actually began to resemble a true phoenix.

At least it won't be compared to the Flashy Finch at first glance.

He patted Phoenix King's head.

Reviving so many people at once took a heavy toll on Ho-Oh. If it weren't for the Ancient Tree of Life providing the support of the Law of Life, Ho-Oh wouldn't have been able to do it.

After praising him, Ho-Oh was sent back to the Tree of Life to restore his divine power.

Ian looked down at the crowd.

Until Lilies and the others refocused their attention on him.

Ian then spoke up:
"Now you can enjoy the glory you deserve."

As soon as the words were spoken, a massive chorus of people, like mountains of gold and jade collapsing, roared and tumbled.

"My Lord is merciful! Your Majesty the Phoenix King is merciful!"

Amidst endless cheers, Lilies and the others, prostrate on the ground, became increasingly confident in their victory over the demons.

How can we lose this?
Their Dawn Cult not only possesses the power to frighten away the Demon King Pope with a single word, but also Dawn Gods capable of unleashing their full power at close range against the Demon King, resources to comprehensively enhance the strength of warriors, and an entire magical Dawn Heaven as their backing.

They also have His Holiness the Pope, who holds the divine power of resurrection, and the Phoenix, the god of life.

Demons?

They would be better off having an iron will and the divine power to bring the dead back to life!
