Heir to the Kingdom of 1.4 billion people
Chapter 76 Remarks on the launch
Chapter 76 Remarks on the launch
After more than a month of updates, it is finally time for this book to be put on the shelves.
It will be on the shelves at 9 o'clock tomorrow night. After it is on the shelves, the basic daily update will be 6,000 words. The rule for additional updates is one update for one thousand monthly tickets and one update for one alliance leader.
I would like to thank my editor Xinghe for giving me great encouragement and recommendation support.
Now that I have finished the important information, let me talk to you about this book:
First of all, I am really grateful for your company and support. This book is undoubtedly the best book I have ever read. Even now, I still feel dizzy and think that everything is just a dream.
I am twenty-one years old this year, an ordinary senior student. While other students are doing internships or preparing for postgraduate entrance exams, I choose to stay at home and write books.
Of course, this is not my first time writing a book. I first wrote a book when I was in high school. At that time, I saw an advertisement saying that a certain writer earned a million yuan a year. It shocked my young mind so much that I tried to write fan fiction on a small website.
Then it becomes exquisite.
Others thought it was just luck, so after that fanfiction was finished, I started another original one, and it turned out to be a masterpiece.
Just when I was determined to become a good author, I was hit hard by my parents and had to live in the school dormitory and study hard.
Later, I was admitted to university successfully. At that time, there was another high school author who was the same as me, but he did not go to write after being admitted to university. Instead, he chose to continue writing books.
Later, when I was busy in college because of the epidemic, studies, dormitories, relationships, and other issues, this guy had already saved two million.
Alas. I also thought about writing a book during college, but on the one hand, I was busy with my major, and on the other hand, there were two buddies in the dormitory who played games all night long every day. I was lucky not to have a nervous breakdown, let alone write a book.
It wasn’t until the first semester of my senior year that I finally had the opportunity to come to Qidian and start reading my first book after a long absence.
But what followed was a series of blows. First of all, I didn't understand the rules of Qidian, so my previous book was not recommended until it had 120,000 words. As a result, it was rushed to the shelves without much exposure.
Secondly, the most critical issue is academic. The book was just put on the shelves and I just started school. I need to set aside six hours every day to attend classes and complete homework. From time to time, I also have to deal with various troubles such as class meetings and lectures.
This resulted in extremely low updates for my previous book (this one will definitely not be the same), but I still want to finish writing that book.
So my daily routine back then was this: living in a rented apartment, getting up in the morning and riding my bike to class, writing in the afternoon, and doing homework at night. It was the depths of winter, and I always did everything alone, watching the snowflakes drift outside the window, with only the cold wind for company. Honestly, it was a bit lonely.
But fortunately, there are still books.
Then came another blow: a trip to the emergency room with food poisoning from ordering takeout.
The surgery and recuperation took almost a month, and by the time I came back, all the readers of that book had left. I'm really sorry.
Then came this book, which I opened during winter break.
Well, how should I put it? Although I also fantasized about the book becoming a hit when I was writing it, it was just a fantasy after all. If it really happened, I wouldn’t even dare to believe it myself.
Thank you all again for giving me at least a week of dreaming, although maybe only a week.
So far, I have encountered only two biggest setbacks while writing this book. One was that there were problems with the plot, so I worked all night to revise it. I am very grateful for the tolerance of the readers who followed me at that time.
The second thing was that I encountered peers who were pushing me to do the same thing. I had never achieved anything before, so the first time I encountered this, it put a lot of pressure on me. Later I realized that only peers would chase after you while scolding you every day.
Apart from these two setbacks, this book was a smooth journey. I met the long-awaited Sanjiang and Xiaolaba, and I was so happy that I didn't want to wake up.
I'm sorry for talking too much, but I really can't describe how touched I am at this moment.
I always feel that I am a loser. I have lived for twenty-one years, and nothing has gone smoothly in love, friendship, and family. So far, it seems that only books have never let me down.
I put in the effort and it gives me happiness in return.
I really appreciate your support. The happiest thing for me every day is reading everyone’s comments and votes.
Whenever a reader says he or she has discovered a good book, I feel happy for at least ten minutes.
Thank you. It will be on the shelves tomorrow night at 9 o'clock. Families who are able to do so, please support me by placing an initial order and receiving a monthly ticket. It only costs ten cents.
Thank you!
