Chapter 88: Bravely Solve the Mystery of the Ancient House: Mysterious Stone Coffin and Strange Creatures
Shi Feiyang and Gong Simeng watched Fei Niao leave, their eyes full of confusion. The moonlight sprinkled on their faces, reflecting their inner confusion: What kind of complicated relationship exists between this mysterious token, the power to control Fei Niao, and the missing leader?
Looking at the direction where the bird disappeared, Shi Feiyang and Gong Simeng became more and more suspicious.

They decided to leave Qingfeng Sword Sect first and return to Jinan Prefecture to discuss countermeasures with Jin Liufu and Xiang Kun.

Their figures gradually walked away in the moonlight, leaving behind the silent Qingfeng Sword Sect, telling the unknown secrets of the world.

The ancient building lay silent in the night, awaiting the next change. Shi Feiyang and Gong Simeng rode non-stop back to the Jinhui Inn in Jinan Prefecture. The sound of their horses' hooves echoed with their anxious heartbeats.

As soon as I stepped into the inn, I saw Jin Liufu and Xiang Kun pacing back and forth in the hall with anxious faces. Their steps were hurried and messy. They looked towards the door from time to time, their eyes full of worry, as if they were waiting for the judgment of fate.

As soon as Shi Feiyang entered, Jin Liufu hurried to greet him. His face was filled with anxiety, and the wrinkles on his forehead seemed to express his worry. He asked anxiously, "I finally got you back. How are you?"

Shi Feiyang looked solemn as he recounted everything he had seen and heard in the Qingfeng Sword Sect, from the mysterious powder, secret passages, men in black, to the strange tokens and terrifying flying birds. He recounted everything in detail.

His voice was low and steady, and every word seemed to carry a heavy weight, as if he was uncovering a long-buried secret.

After hearing this, Jin Liufu's eyes widened like bells, his face filled with shock. He exclaimed, "This is unbelievable! Could that mysterious powder and the sword marks on the wall be a distress signal left by the missing leader? And that token may be the key to solving the mystery."

There was a hint of excitement in his voice, as if he saw a glimmer of hope in solving the mystery.

Xiang Kun frowned, and after a long moment of contemplation, he slowly said, "I have a feeling the power behind this is not simple. To be able to control such a giant flying bird, they must possess some unknown secret techniques. We should start our investigation by examining the origins of this token."

His voice was low and calm, like a wise man groping in the darkness, trying to find a ray of light.

So, everyone started to inquire about the news of the token.

After several days of investigation, they finally learned from an old man in the underworld that the pattern on the token was closely related to a mysterious organization that existed many years ago. This organization was skilled in driving strange beasts and had elusive whereabouts. They had once caused a bloody storm in the underworld, but then suddenly disappeared, as if they had never existed in the underworld.

Shi Feiyang and his companions followed this lead and discovered that this mysterious organization seemed to have left traces in an abandoned old house on the outskirts of Jinan Prefecture. They immediately went to the old house, and as soon as they stepped through the door, a strong odor of decay hit their noses, a nauseating mixture of time and death.

The yard was overgrown with weeds that were taller than a person. The dilapidated house swayed in the wind, creaking and looking like it would collapse at any time. There was also an eerie and terrifying atmosphere in the air.

The weeds swayed in the wind, as if they were countless waving hands, trying to catch every intruder.

Just as they were searching carefully, they suddenly heard a strange sound.

The sound was low and strange, like someone was whispering an ancient and evil spell, or like the roar of some ferocious beast that had been dormant for a long time and was awakening from its slumber.

The sound echoed in the empty old house, constantly being amplified and distorted, making people feel creepy and sending chills down their spines.

Shi Feiyang and others walked in the direction of the sound and found that the sound came from a basement.

They found the entrance to the basement and descended the narrow, moss-covered stairs. The basement was dim and damp, filled with a pungent odor of mold and decay, as if it had been shrouded in the shadow of death for a thousand years. The sound of water dripping from the walls made a "tick-tick" sound in the silence, like a countdown to death.

In the center of the basement, there is a huge sarcophagus engraved with the same patterns as the token.

Those patterns appear particularly mysterious and strange in the dim light, telling unknown secrets.

Gong Simeng said in surprise: "Why are there so many sarcophagi? What do they mean?" She was about to step forward, but Shi Feiyang blocked her with his sword.

His eyes were firm and alert as he said, "Every sarcophagus is definitely different. Don't be fooled!"

As the wise and brave Shi Feiyang had expected, just as they were about to approach the sarcophagus to find out what was inside, the sarcophagus suddenly shook violently and made a dull sound, as if a sleeping giant beast was roaring.

Then with a "bang", the coffin lid was blown open by a powerful force, and a black smoke rushed out from it.

The smoke rolled and twisted like a living thing, as if it were a demon crawling out of the abyss of hell.

From the smoke, a humanoid creature, radiating an eerie light, slowly rose. Its features were blurred, as if shrouded in mist. Its hands waved like sharp claws, each swing bringing with it a piercing chill. It let out a chilling roar, as resonant as a bell, yet filled with evil and madness, as it pounced towards Shi Feiyang and the others.

The humanoid creature, emitting a strange light, lunged forward with its fangs and claws bared, its speed as fast as lightning, reaching the crowd in the blink of an eye. Shi Feiyang reacted quickly, shouting, "Be careful!" The sound was like a bell, shaking the air around them slightly.

Then, he used the knife as a sword and activated the Mingyu Gong. A thick layer of frost instantly appeared around his body, and the air seemed to be frozen.

He swung his knife at the monster. "Clang!" As the blade touched the monster's body, there was a harsh sound of metal colliding. The sound was sharp and unpleasant, and it made Shi Feiyang's arm numb, and blood oozed slightly from the knuckles.

Gong Simeng quickly pulled out a whip from her waist, and the tip of the whip attacked the monster's neck like a nimble snake.

The monster dodged sideways with incredible agility, easily avoiding the attack. With a backhand swing of its claws, it unleashed a gust of wind that whistled like a sharp blade. Gong Simeng narrowly escaped the attack, the gust of wind brushing across her cheek, leaving a faint red mark.

Xiang Kun was chanting incantations in a low voice, muttering to himself, and quickly forming seals with his hands.

Suddenly, several thick vines emerged from the ground, like green pythons, and quickly coiled around the monster.

The monster was tightly entangled by the vines, but it suddenly exerted force, tensed its muscles, and actually broke the vines one by one.

The broken vines splattered juice everywhere, emitting a pungent smell.
