Chapter 201 Buckbeak's Sudden Attack

Chapter 201 Buckbeak's Sudden Attack

A wisp of Lily's soul is hidden in Harry, so can she really continue on the path of "death"?
An incomplete soul cannot leave this world - but Cohen did not see the third soul in Harry.

It could be that the "sacrificial protection" spell sacrificed Lily's soul, or it could be that as Dumbledore said, "Those who love us will never really leave, they will always live in us."

But some questions just can't be answered all at once, and Cohen has more important things to do now.

For example, he prevented Sirius from being caught by Fudge, not for any other reason, but simply because he didn't like Fudge.

Cohen originally had three plans. Plan A was to capture Peter Pettigrew and hand him over to the Ministry of Magic so that Sirius could be cleared of his grievances.

Plan B is to kill Peter Pettigrew directly, but then Sirius will have to continue to be a fugitive for a very, very long time.

Plan C is to keep Peter Pettigrew to save Voldemort.

Plan C is somewhat inconsistent with the long-term cooperation between Coin and Voldemort. Only Coin can resurrect Voldemort, and Coin has already found a body for Voldemort - the two flesh and blood puppets controlled by Coin are a very good choice.

It would be a bit difficult to control if Peter Pettigrew were to resurrect Voldemort.

Plan B is a bit too stupid. Sirius' ending is exactly the same as the original plot, and Cohen will feel uninvolved.

Then only plan A was left - capturing Peter Pettigrew alive was not difficult, but not too easy either, because this cowardly mouse could easily escape quickly when he found out that Coin was trying to catch him, and there were too many mouse holes in Hogwarts.

On the contrary, a secret room with only one exit like the Shrieking Shack is more suitable for closing the door and catching rats.
-
During the second Transfiguration class that morning, Professor McGonagall noticed that most of the students looked worried. In order to help them put aside their fear of the "horrible future" and concentrate on the class, Professor McGonagall shared her views on Divination - "the least rigorous branch of magic."

Hermione agreed with this, and Harry and Ron didn't really believe what Trelawney said because of Coin. However, the other students in the class who chose Divination still believed in Harry's ominous words and Professor Trelawney's scary predictions.

After the Transfiguration class and lunch, they came to the outside of the castle, walked down the grass slope, and headed to Hagrid's Hut next to the Forbidden Forest.

A Slytherin student who took classes with them, but Draco Malfoy had been very restrained over the years - he often didn't dare to conflict when Cohen was around, as if Cohen would suck his soul away if he jumped.

"Malfoy looks so awkward." Ron glanced at the Slytherins. "It's like he wants to taunt Hagrid but is afraid of something..."

"It's good that he doesn't cause trouble." Hermione said, "Maybe he's afraid that Hagrid will deduct his points..."

Hagrid was standing at the door of the hut waiting for the students.

"Come on! Hug on!" Hagrid called as the students approached. "I've got something great for you today! This class is going to be fantastic! Is everyone here? Okay, follow me!"

Amid the students' confused gazes, Hagrid led them around the Forbidden Forest and came to a small enclosed paddock.

Hagrid gathered the students around the fence and told them to open their books -

"Our hands will be bitten off!" Lavender Brown exclaimed. "Classes can't be that dangerous!"

"Professor, how are we supposed to open the book?" Hermione reminded Hagrid as objectively as possible. Even when bound by ropes or belts, the Monster Book of Monsters was struggling uncomfortably, trying to bite their hands off. "Oh..." Hagrid looked a little disappointed. "None of you were able to open the textbook, were you? Didn't you try?"

"Everyone who has tried is now in St. Mungo's Hospital." Malfoy finally couldn't help it, "This school must be doomed to allow such a person to be a professor and 'murder students'——"

"I didn't mean to murder you!" Hagrid waved his hands quickly, "I just..."

"Shut up Malfoy!" Harry growled at Malfoy.

"Just smooth the spine of the book." Cohen raised the book he had just taken out of his schoolbag, which he had bought in the first grade - but it was actually dead.

"That's right!" Hagrid looked at Cohen as if he had seen a savior. "Look! Cohen quickly found the right way. You can follow his method!"

After solving the book problem, Hagrid led out of the paddock a dozen strange creatures with horses' bodies and eagles' wings and heads.

Hermione and Ron exclaimed in surprise. Harry, having seen Cohen's Chimera, was able to accept this composite creature very quickly.

"Hippogriff!" Hagrid introduced them happily. "Isn't it beautiful?"

For most young wizards, it is actually difficult for them to appreciate the gradient bird feathers and shiny horse fur of a half-bird, half-horse monster.

"Good!" Hagrid rubbed his hands together and untied the chains that bound one of the Hippogriffs. "If you want to come any closer - wait - Buckbeak!"

Before Hagrid could finish his words, a gray hippogriff screamed and rushed towards the fence where Cohen and others were.

"Ahhhhh!!!"

The students screamed at the sudden attack and began to run away quickly - but not too far away, because they wanted to hide behind a tree and see what would happen next.

Harry and the others also subconsciously took several steps back, because Buckbeak was rushing towards where they were, and the wooden fence in front of them was obviously unable to stop such a giant beast.

Cohen didn't retreat. Buckbeak's young soul, only eighteen points strong, couldn't hurt him at all.

What he wanted to know more was why Buckbeak pounced on him and attacked him the first time he saw him.

"Go! Go!"

Hagrid hurriedly stood in front of Cohen. Buckbeak originally raised his two front legs to scratch Cohen, but because of Hagrid's obstruction, it retracted its claws and retreated vigilantly.

The other hippogriffs also stared at Cohen's position with a wary look.

"Don't be afraid, everyone!" Hagrid turned around and tried to call the students back. "They may just have smelled something that made them uneasy - wait - I'll take care of these..."
