Chapter 898 Shepherd God, My Pet Wolf is Still Waiting for You

Chapter 898 Shepherd God, My Pet Wolf is Still Waiting for You
A loud bang echoed above the canyon.

A giant in black armor and golden wings appeared out of thin air in the center of the canyon, with a giant black wolf standing in mid-air to his right.

Nimrod's obsidian eyes gazed toward the end of the canyon, where six towering trees stood firmly on the ground.

A pearly white Shadowmoon Wolf, a purple-gold Emperor's Son, and a crimson Holy Blood Angel hang from the white thorns.

Hundreds of giant, jet-black flying creatures clung to the thorns, their crowns swaying as they pried open the various colored power armors and feasted on them.

More than a thousand dark figures flapped their bat wings, hunting the dense swarms of gray flying insects in the air.

Hundreds of crowns turned toward Ninglu, their wings flapping as they flew past the gray insects.

Thunderclouds churned, and streaks of lightning tore through the sky, striking the black-armored giant.

Ninglu did not dodge, but called out to the black wolf at his feet, "Freddy."

"Yes, my master." Two pairs of legs instantly sprouted from Freddy's abdomen, creating ripples.

Eight legs pierced the sky and rose slowly.

The crackling lightning stained the blue light dull and pale.

Ninglu gazed at the swirling "shield storm," where frenzied and violent electric light flowed slowly, swirling and circling overhead like a vortex.

He looked into the depths of the canyon, where the roots of six spirit thorn trees intertwined with their thorns.

The angry roars of the Astartes' vengeful spirits left the fans standing frozen in place, as if they were in a daze.

"A melody of tranquility gently ripples..."

A deep, gentle voice rang out, echoing above the canyon.

As the hymns began, the six spirit thorn trees swayed.

A spiritual ripple spread, merging with the poem.

As expected, Freddy's revealed mythical creature form calmed the "shield storm" caused by the Spirit Thorn Tree, a Sequence 5 potion material in the "Dark" pathway.

It can even, to some extent, enhance the effect of the poem.
The jet-black wings, which had moved with lightning speed, began to flap more and more slowly, as they were immersed in the charm of the poem and dared not cause any disturbance.

The poem lingers and echoes, as if the quiet moonlight envelops the valley, and the water ripples like a still lake.

Invisible ripples spread out in concentric circles, and the wings of the bat-like flying creatures folded up, enveloping their dark bodies.

Its massive body fell slowly like a leaf, as if it dared not break the silence of the canyon.

Nimrod's obsidian eyes flashed with light and shadow, and his telekinetic power surged forth, sweeping up hundreds of giant black spider monsters.

woohoo hoo...

The black mist drifted silently, and one by one, the giant spider monsters vanished into thin air.

Freddy looked down, his dark eyes fixed on the black mist.

[The Black Mist of a Mysterious Kingdom!]
He knew that any creature that entered that mysterious land would fall completely under the master's control.

If the owner doesn't allow it, it can't move a single paw.

Freddy looked at his master with awe, and unconsciously slowed down the pace of his chanting.

The hundreds of giant spider monsters swirling around had their crowns shaking.

tick...

A commotion broke the tranquility.

Freddy was startled. The fine black hair on his body trembled, like slippery tentacles formed from black energy spreading in all directions, instantly covering the entire canyon.

A gentle light spread, the ticking sound gradually subsided, and the vibrating wings slowly calmed down.

Hundreds of giant, pitch-black spider monsters were tossed about by an invisible hand, one after another, and thrown towards Ninglu.

He gently flapped his golden wings and slowly flew towards the end of the canyon.

As the giant spider monster clinging to the corpse of the Shadow Moon Wolf slid off and disappeared, only six giant trees remained in front of Ninglu.

With a thought, his mental power spread, and the pearl-white, purple-gold, and blood-red armor slowly rose, breaking free from the thorns.

Ninglu raised his right hand, and hundreds of powered armored vehicles flew toward the rugged hillside, slowly landing on the grass stems rooted in the rust-red soil of the edge of the area.

A glint flashed in his eyes as he used telekinesis to envelop the towering tree, which resembled solidified latex, covering its massive root system and dense thorns.

Bang bang bang... Six short, explosive sounds, incongruous with the massive tree trunks rising from the ground, accompanied the giant trees flying one by one toward Ninglu.

He raised his right arm, black mist appearing in his palm, and touched each of the giant white trees one by one.

"Freddy, you did a good job on the mission."

"Someone's coming."

The black mist and light fog receded, and the four legs on its abdomen quickly disappeared.

Freddy descended slowly, avoiding the mysterious black mist, and landed on his master's left.

At the canyon entrance, Horus Lupecal strode forward, with Luke Sediri, the company commander of the 13th Company, close behind.

Horus's expression suddenly changed. He looked up at the sky, where the thunderclouds and storm were rapidly dissipating.

The pale yellow light emitted by the star seemed like pale yellow arrows piercing his eyes.

His eyes stung, and he squinted instinctively.

Horus stroked the ring on his right little finger, the longbow arrows blurred and dim.

[Have we been beaten to it again?]
boom!
He crashed into a ten-meter-tall cone-shaped tree, and the hard wood shattered.

Milky white clay splattered and adhered to the armor that Malevolus had forged for the Primarch, before immediately sliding off.

“Warrior!” Sadiri’s voice was filled with worry as he gazed at the specks of slime on his father’s wolf skin and bright red cloak.

"I am fine."

Horus gathered his thoughts and waded through the muddy, slippery water.

He suddenly frowned. "Are you sure there are thousands of aliens with jet-black wings here?"

Sadiri gazed at the sky, his pupils dilating rapidly.

The aliens that blotted out the sky had completely disappeared.

Only three hours had passed since his last charge.

"Commander... I dare not deceive you..."

He took a deep breath, and suddenly something occurred to him.

“I believe the tactical helmet recorded some incomplete footage.”

He turned on the company's communication channel, and just as he was about to ask a question, Horus's massive body walked up to him.

He patted Sadiri on the shoulder. "My son, of course I believe you."

“Nothing strange about it,” Horus said with a smile.

"It was just my brother who disobeyed our father's orders."

Sadiri breathed a sigh of relief. "Father, do you mean that Lord Ninglu used witchcraft?"

Horus nodded. "I should remind him."

He turned around and continued walking down to the bottom of the valley.

As Horus waded through the waters between thousands of cone-shaped trees, two figures, one large and one small, came into his view.

Ninglu sat leisurely on the hillside, a black wolf lying beside his left leg.

Beerus the Black Wolf's wolf brothers, Freddy and Gri, are smaller and have thicker fur.

He lazily raised his head, his dark eyes looking at him.

Horus gazed into those deep eyes, and in the cool, tranquil atmosphere, the turmoil in his mind subsided somewhat.

Ning Lu slowly stood up, his golden wings flapped, and he took to the air.

"Commander, there are bodies on the hillside."

Horus glanced at the pearly white armor, then looked up at the sky as the black wolf rose slowly with Nimrod.

"Ninglu, stop using psionic energy."

Nimrod's lips curled up when he heard Horus's voice. "[Horus was guessing that I used my psionic powers to deal with the giant spider monsters and spirit thorn trees in the canyon.]"
Actually, I didn't do anything; Freddy handled it all.

O Wolf God, you failed to complete the decapitation once again... We're all wolves, but my pet wolf is still waiting for you.
