Chapter 759 Grell's Abyss

The armed transport ship Connor, belonging to the merchant ronin von Valentius family, was rocking violently.

On the bridge, the lumen lights flickered on and off.

The bright lights emitted an eerie blue glow.

The fleet's commanding captain, Ibrahim, turned on his communicator.

"Mr. Wiescher, I need to know what's going on now?"

Eerie cries, interspersed with intermittent roars, echoed through the sound channel.

A weak voice came a dozen seconds later.

"Captain, we have veered off course."

"Can you guide the fleet back to its course?"

After several seconds of silence, the navigator's voice rang out again.

“I’m sorry, we can’t.” His voice was weary. “We cannot reach Abyss Harbor…”

Ibrahima was ordered to lead his fleet from Zavaric, the agricultural world of the merchant ronin, to transport agricultural products to Abyss Harbor, the largest port in the new district of Kolonid.

"We were swept away by a sudden tide to another abyss, a true abyss..."

The chill traveled through the sound array channels, directly impacting Ibrahim.

The bloated diagram, a complex interplay of matter and energy, emanates a peculiar circular radiation, the entire spectrum of which is clearly visible.

The radiation spread, its light overpowering the orange glow of the star and illuminating the entire void.

The beastmen of the asteroid belt were the first to spot their intruding prey, and they shouted in unison, "Waaagh!"

The Connor's heavy cylindrical void engines ignited rapidly, and its brutal emergency return, dragging flames and debris, left a bright trail in the Grell Abyss.

On the bridge, Ibrahim roared, "Helmsman, brake! Restart the subspace engines!"

“Mr. Vischer, you must replan your route, anywhere that will get you out of this damned green abyss…”

He glanced nervously at the holographic strategy table, then took a deep breath; it was covered in dense red runes.

The threat vector surged rapidly, and the terrifying numbers far exceeded his imagination.

Ibrahim looked up again at the video screen.

More than a hundred pieces of scrap metal, pieced together from various sources, drifted by.

Behind them is an asteroid with thousands of peaks and ridges on its surface.

"Fire! Artillery commander, fire..."

Ibrahim gripped the holographic tactical table tightly, parallel laser runes flashing as torpedoes flew in parabolic arcs.

Ibrahima drew his chainsaw sword and leaned it on the ground.

He pushed the respirator up, covered his face, and turned to look at the viewing window.

Molten glass rained down, and ugly rocks, wreathed in flames, burst in.

Roar……

Thousands of green monsters with fangs surged in, resembling a spore mist spewed by a swarm of fungi.

"For von Valencius!" Ibrahim raised the Vostonia laser pistol, a gift from the traveling merchant Lewis, and aimed it at the green-skinned figure enveloped in firelight.

His body swayed slightly, but the laser beam still shot out and hit Green Skin's right eye.

The blazing beam hissed as it pierced the green-skinned brain.

A massive figure, at least two heads taller than the other orcs, roared as it charged straight at Ibrahima.

His large foot stomped on the officer who was rolling and trying to avoid it.

With a thud, the officer was trampled into a bloody pulp.

The laser beam fired by Ibrahim hit the jumbled steel scraps, hissing and emitting black smoke.

Green did not slow down at all; his shadow, illuminated by the flickering lumens, enveloped Ibrahim's thin body.

The nauseating smell of mold hit me and seeped through the filter plug.

Ibrahim's stomach churned, and he felt so nauseous he wanted to gag.

He clenched his teeth, his spasming fingers repeatedly pulling the trigger.

Brilliant beams of light shot onto the tattered steel armor, and plumes of black smoke rose up.

Ibrahima pressed the activation rune on the Vostonia-type chainsaw sword, and the motor roared, the saw teeth vibrating.

He ducked to avoid the serrated broadsword, swung his chainsaw sword, and pulled the trigger repeatedly.

Amidst a screeching sound and sparks flying, the tattered parts of the green leather waist and abdomen clattered and fell to the ground.

The green-skinned man grinned maliciously and raised his serrated greatsword to slash down, striking the chainmail.

Green mist rose in the minds of the orcs, and they raised their weapons high.

“Waaagh!” roared the orc warlord Virgil.

The orc lads howled "Waaagh!" and excitedly followed the orc warlord into the depths of the ship.

The fleets of the nine orc warlords, surrounding the asteroid fortress, departed from the Grell Abyss.
