Chapter 731 The Shadow Eye of Bilak
Chapter 731 The Shadow Eye of Bilak
Etsak leaped from the hovering Shadow Stormbird and crashed into the sand sea, instinctively sensing danger.
Four short but muscular figures raised guns, similar to those in the Shadow of Order but much smaller, and aimed them at themselves.
He rolled quickly and calmly said, "Etsak, Lord Nimrod's mercenary."
During the voyage, Etsack used his spare time to quickly familiarize himself with his surroundings.
He learned about the Primarch and Nimrod's status.
Etzack pragmatically accepted following others in addressing his employer as "adult," and he also learned the Vostonian language commonly used by the fleet, enabling him to communicate in a basic manner.
The space dwarves immediately understood what Aitsaac meant when they heard his words.
The centenarian dwarves of the Skot Alliance have all mastered the Vostorian language through their close trade relations with the "Shadow of Order".
The newly formed Hearthblood and Ironblood of the Skot Alliance had the Vostorian language implanted in their minds by their ancestral core at birth.
“There’s a monster here, and it can become invisible,” a Hearthstone warrior shouted.
“That’s exactly why I’m here.” Etzack drew his Falcon Shortsword. After receiving training from the Shadow of Order’s think tank, he already knew that Nimrod had hired him to target the enemy—the psionicists.
Aitsaac's eyes, like those of a raptor, scanned the sea of sand through his goggles.
During his interactions with think tanks, he summarized his experiences and concluded that the direction he felt disgusted and uncomfortable with was the position of psionicists.
Eitsack looked around, his eyes suddenly widening, and he immediately leaped out.
chug chu...
His skin was itchy and stinging, as if he had been stung by an insect.
Etzsack was even more certain that the psionicist hiding in the shadows was in this direction.
Ah!
A piercing scream suddenly rang out, like a poultry being gripped by the neck.
A figure, seemingly draped in a light veil, emerged from the shadows of the crystal sand.
He dropped the staff made of bones from his hand and clutched his head in anguish.
His body was covered with layers of skin and flesh of different colors, like the fluttering wings of a pair of butterflies.
His wings, and his body, were covered with countless eyes.
As the eyes blinked, faint shadows scattered around.
As the negative Omega-class Etsack rapidly approached, the mutant psionic's screams grew increasingly miserable, as if he were being tortured.
His body exploded with a crackling sound, and foul-smelling, thick blood gushed out.
boom!
Countless eyes on his body exploded amidst the flickering shadows, and a slippery tentacle shrouded in shadow shot out from his chest, heading straight for Eitsak.
Boom boom boom...
The Hearthborn warrior angrily pulled the trigger, and a hail of bullets struck the shadowy tentacles.
The diamond projectile seemed to strike an invisible shadow, whizzing past.
Eitsak raised his Falcon Shortsword, its gleaming light soaring into the hazy shadows.
boom!
With a loud bang, the gray, sticky tentacles exploded.
As the psionicist roared, his wrinkled turban burst open, revealing a huge eyeball on the top of his head.
The eyeballs slid off eerily, rolling in an instant to a face devoid of features.
His arms twisted and coiled, swinging out like vines, and with the flicking of his eagle-claw-like nails, shadows rose up.
The shadows grew rapidly, undulating like giant pythons.
The shadowy python lunged at Etsak, and when it was still two meters away, the Hearthborn Hunter Module suddenly activated its locking rune. They immediately seized the opportunity and pulled the trigger.
Boom boom boom...
In the corrosive acid mist, the shadowy python was blasted into puffs of gray mist, and dark, worm-like strands of flesh fell onto the crystal sand with a crackling sound.
Eitsack charged forward, his Falcon Shortsword swirling and slashing like flowing water.
Amidst a series of explosions, puffs of gray mist shattered, scattering charred gray worms as he rushed towards the mutant psyker.
Etsack lunged and twisted his waist, the Falcon Short Sword piercing his one eye, the hook at the tip of the sword slipping away.
Rumble!
The mutant psionicist exploded into a gray blur, then shattered and scattered like broken mirrors.
The four Hearthborn warriors stared at the scattered, charred worms, breathed a sigh of relief, and then looked scrutinizingly at the giant holding the short sword.
The Hunter Module couldn't detect the strange psionicist at all; it was only Etzker's arrival that brought him out of the shadows.
Their weapons did not cause any real damage to the strange psionicists.
Etsak, holding his falcon dagger, walked past the space dwarves.
He sensed something in the dust and sand ahead.
Silently, a dark fog rose up like a curtain.
Sting, sting, sting!
Aitsaac's skin stung, and his sallow complexion turned much paler.
The sour, foul smell entered the nasal cavity through the respirator.
His hand, gripping the Falcon Dagger tightly, looked like it was covered with wriggling maggots.
Eitsack glanced at his arm, saw nothing amiss, and continued forward. *Snap!*
With a crisp sound, the invisible eggshell cracked, and a gray building suddenly appeared.
A nest tower.
The thought of the reward flashed through Etsack's mind, and he became certain that the gray building in front of him was Lord Nimrod's target.
His eyes flashed as he pressed the communicator to his throat.
Two sidereal hours later, the black Skyhawk shuttle descended from the sky.
Ning Lu, dressed in a black robe with his golden wings folded, stepped off the deck.
His gaze swept over Eitsack, and a dark spot came into view.
With each step Ning Lu took forward, the black spots in his eyes became more and more frequent.
He entered the first level of the Thelma's state of mind, suppressed his slight discomfort, and looked at the hazy gray building.
The gray building is generally elliptical, like an egg laid flat on crystal sand.
In the eyes of the "Chaos Mentor," lines of gray rules coalesced into a gray eyeball.
“Thank you, this is the place I’ve been looking for,” Nimrod said to the space dwarves.
The two drivers and the six remaining Furnace Warriors pounded their chests with their hands.
"Scott is happy to serve you; the oath of the covenant is unbreakable."
Ning Lu stopped and gently tapped the rock-like body with his hand.
"The oath of the covenant is unbreakable."
After the space dwarves left, he walked toward the temple.
Etsack followed closely behind him, as if entering the gate of a nest tower.
Following the veins of gray threads, "Chaos Mentor" Nimrod walked through the domed gate, traversed the gray rocks, and arrived in front of a colossal statue.
On the base carved from a skull, the huge bat wings spread out, casting shadows that cover the entire gray statue.
His enormous right claw gripped a giant sword.
Spikes protrude from the edges of the body.
The ram's horns are curved and extend upwards from the top of its head.
Etzack followed closely behind the black-robed giant, looking up.
The stench was overwhelming, and he felt as if he had fallen into a quagmire.
The gray stone left eye suddenly blinked.
Cold sweat beaded on Etsack's forehead, and his Falcon Dagger was scalding hot.
Amidst the clash of ice and fire, a thick, gray mist surged forth like syrup.
Whoosh!
He saw the black-armored giant suddenly leap up, instantly rising to the same level as the statue.
Ninglu raised his right arm and reached for the statue's left eye.
Roar!
Amidst the rising, illusory smoke and dust, a roaring face emerges from the shadows.
A long tongue flew out from his ripped chest.
A gray left eye casts a dancing shadow.
With a thought, the "Chaos Mentor" unleashed a torrent of spiritual energy.
The long tongue snapped back, striking the sharp teeth that had split open the chest.
The dancing gray shadows scattered into specks, drifting haphazardly.
Ninglu's right hand gripped the statue's left eye, and with a sudden force, he tore off the eyelid.
As soon as Gray Eye touched it, shadows flickered, as if streaks of spirit race star darts were exploding.
With a thought, Ning Lu suddenly felt a black mist rise from his palm, enveloping the gray eyes in layers.
The next instant, Gray Eyes vanished.
Ninglu looked down at the seventh level of the "Land of Chaos," where layers of black lines of rules were wrapped around his gray eyes.
[Bilak's left eye, his shadow eye.]
While not as large as the Shadow Blade, it is still one of the larger fragments of the relic.
"Hoo!" Etzsak exhaled a deep breath, his breath reeking of foul odor.
"Aitsak, the first hive city, the hive tower of the Ayari family, belongs to you."
The Ayari family is one of the families that resisted submission. Their family businesses have been taken over by the Shadow of Order, and the Nest Tower is a reward for completing mercenary missions for Etsak.
Ninglu opened the sound array channel and gave instructions to Arcena Dunn.
"Send all the mutants in this world to the Twilight Moon."
