Chapter 729 Ninglu's ambition burns brightly; he seizes the opportunity to forge the world's supreme Varia.
The Emperor walked into the golden palace side by side with the Mars Forging Director, followed by the Seal Holder, Macardo, and the Commander of the Imperial Guard, Constantine Waldo.
After accepting the greetings from everyone, the Emperor looked around at the crowd and finally focused his gaze on the Mars Forging Director, and spoke in a deep voice.
"Within the Iron Ring are many casting worlds. After Mars established contact with them, Gloria, Calibacchus, and Uldish submitted and allied with Mars."
"With their support, the expeditionary fleet advanced through the Iron Ring, and most of the worlds successfully submitted. However, the secret meeting of Hydrinox of the High Varia remained stubborn and refused our demands."
The mechanical tentacles behind the Mars Foundry Director rose, and a holographic star map appeared above the long table.
As the mechanical tentacles swung, the steel ring area expanded, appearing before the Primarchs.
Upon hearing this, Ninglu immediately understood the purpose of Huang Laohan's convening of this war council: the Supreme Valia of the Steel Ring.
The Steel Ring is located in the southwest of the Milky Way, extending from the Pacific Star Region to the Storm Star Region.
The many casting worlds, established during the "Age of Strife," were completely isolated for thousands of years, utterly unaware of the outside world beyond their mechanical realms, leading to ever-widening cultural differences among them.
One of the eight great casting worlds of the future, Gloria, allied with Nimrod, establishes a mutually beneficial alliance with Mars.
The three Titan legions—Grea, Calebax, and Uldish—supported the Empire's expansion in the Iron Ring.
During the later stages of the Great Expedition, the Empire encountered the High Varia of the Storm Starfield.
This world-building organization hopes to demonstrate its strength through war in order to gain better terms in negotiations.
[While this is a rational choice, one must still possess sufficient strength!]
Nimrod recalled that, under the onslaught of the Raven Guard, the High Varia was forced to once again reach a diplomatic agreement with Mars a few weeks later.
As he pondered, he noticed Old Huang's gaze fall upon him.
"Nimrod, my Pegasus, enlighten the sages of High Varia and bring them to the Empire."
Nimrod realized that after the High Valia signed the agreement and submitted to Mars, he failed to convey the message to the Morning Star Titan Legion, which was participating in the war, in time, resulting in the loss of several important forging cities and countless lives for the High Valia.
This consequence, stemming from ignorance rather than hostility, etched Glea's name into the minds of the people of High Varia as a hateful one.
Decades later, the hatred erupted, directly leading to the High Valia siding with Horus.
[Pointless hatred...this is an opportunity...]
By leading this war, I can both prevent the High Varia from targeting our ally, Glea, and seize control of this Forging World.
During the "Steel Catastrophe" of the Great Birthday Steel Ring, they can seize the opportunity to control more of the casting world.
The Supreme Varia is far weaker than powerful forging worlds like Gloria, and I have the ability to control it.
The High Varia is not too weak either; controlling the Forged Worlds of more than twenty star systems, it is a formidable stronghold within the Steel Ring.
Nimrod's ambition burned fiercely, and thinking that he could take this opportunity to seize control of the High Varia, he readily agreed.
"Follow Your will."
Ninglu and the other Primarchs rose, greeted Old Man Huang, and were about to end the psionic projection when a leaden voice rang out.
“Nimrod,” Finus Manus said, his eyes fixed on him, “I will send your armor to the battlefield of the Iron Ring.”
Ning Lu smiled and nodded, "I look forward to receiving your work."
He randomly ended the psionic projection, and after his mind returned to the body of the Shadow of the Throne, he pressed the communication bead and summoned Artena Dunn.
A moment later, Ninglu, leaning against the throne, instructed his original body attendant:
"Summon the Second and Tenth Warbands and assemble at Caligum Gate."
Nimrod chose the Tenth Warband, again because of its size and the large number of Faceless Ones.
Gadinar forged the three-legged walking mechs for the Second Chapter, making them the best choice to counter the Supreme Varia "Ripper" Titan Legion.
Of course, Nimrod wouldn't expend his own legions. Besides the fact that Gloria's "Morning Star" Titan Legion would certainly provide assistance, he also needed to summon another ally. "Send a request to Underworld VIII, requesting the 'Darkfire' Titan Legion to provide assistance in accordance with the covenant."
Nimrod decided to take this opportunity to corrupt the commander of the "Darkfire" Titan Legion and bring him into submission.
Considering that the "Lord of Destruction" follows Horus, it is necessary to complete the "Corruption" before the grand birthday celebration.
“Follow Your will.” The snow-white-haired Alsena recorded his command on the data panel.
"Instruct the chief navigator to plan the route to worlds 33-59."
Considering that it would take time for the two chapters and the "Darkfire" Titans to assemble, he decided to immediately travel to another world in the Antimalaris sector to obtain the divination fragments of the Birac relic.
"Yes, sir." The Primarch's attendant said before leaving, having put away the data panel.
“My Lord, Ivory Jovan awaits Your summons in the reception room.”
Ning Lu nodded. "Let him in."
With a thought, the space apes on the first level of the "Disordered Kingdom" began to concoct "healer" potions using materials such as ginkgo leaves.
Alsena strode past Etsak, the chieftain of the Sobo tribe, and left the Primarch's office.
Before Ivors even entered the Primarch's office, he felt his throat dry and his breath reeked of money.
He took a deep breath, suppressing his discomfort, and then walked into the Primarch's office.
Ivors saw a tall, muscular man, shorter than the Shadow of Order, but taller and stronger than any soldier in the Sun Auxiliary Army.
He carried a laser gun on his back and a short sword at his waist.
The hilt of the sword is carved with a lifelike eagle head.
Ivors immediately knew he was a Vessa, which was the source of his disgust and discomfort.
He shifted his attention from the Vesaians to Lord Nimrod.
"My lord, I have followed all your orders and read the pharmacist's test report..."
Ning Lu nodded slightly, and with a flick of his wrist, a bottle of pale green and slightly blue, crystal clear magic potion appeared in his palm.
"Drink him."
Nimrod made no attempt to conceal the fact that the Vessa were the best mercenaries in the Misty Starfield, whose loyalty to their employers was no less than that of any devout follower of the God Emperor, and who were bound by a "Shadow Contract."
Ivor picked up the potion with delight, opened the bottle, and smelled its enticing aroma.
"Thank you for your gift, sir." He eagerly tilted his head back and drank the potion.
On his first day as a guard, Etsack stood vigilantly inside the Primarch's office door, ready to respond to any attack.
He couldn't understand what the two were saying, but out of the corner of his eye he saw Ivors drink a vial of pale green potion.
[Ninlu seemed to have given the man something.]
As the potion entered his mouth, Ivor felt as if he were in Ryan, tasting the new shoots of a mandrake branch glistening with morning dew.
He quickly snapped out of his reverie over the refreshing taste and, as calmly as he had done countless times on the battlefield when performing surgery on soldiers of the Sun Auxiliary Army, began to meditate and gather the overflowing magical power.
Ning Lu stared at the newly promoted Rank 8 "Physician" and gave the order.
"Your task is to oversee the transformation of the Y-class and Φ-class Vesa people."
Ninglu judged that it wouldn't be too difficult for the apothecary to supervise the servants in modifying the Σ-level and T-level Vesa people, but the Y-level and Φ-level people had a relatively high probability of failure.
Only after becoming a "physician" was Ivory Yovan, the first medical officer of the "Solar Auxiliary Army," able to respond in a timely manner.
