Chapter 716 The Deadly Suffocating "Dream Thief" Potion

Chapter 716 The Deadly Suffocating "Dream Thief" Potion

Morley's command base.

"Thank you for your guidance. I am now able to control my own power."

As Nimrod listened to the Pale Nomad's report, he simultaneously had a thought and instructed the Space Ape to begin concocting the Sequence 9 "Sailor" potion using materials such as the Siren Stone.

After Alkahas Far dispatched the first batch of space sharks to serve as his honor guard, he immediately took notice of the former chapter commander of the 19th Legion, the 11th Chapter "Pale Nomads".

He knew that the future curator of the "Space Shark" think tank would possess this title.

As expected, Nimrod discovered that he was indeed a powerful think tank, and that he possessed two unique psionic spells of the "Space Shark" think tank that he knew of: "Deep Sea Invasion" and "Ripple".

He had easily mastered both spells through instruction and then made targeted improvements based on his own psychic talents.

These two spells belong to special storm-type psionic spells, but "Deep Sea Invasion" is a mental attack, while "Ripple" is similar to using telekinesis to change the physical structure of reality.

The Primarch has been conducting ongoing research on these two psionic spells recently.

He wanted to develop a version suitable for the Shadow of Order, so that the Legion's think tanks could master these two spells unique to the "Space Sharks".

At the very least, we need to find a way to allow the Ninth Legion to recruit the "Tyrant" from the Ocean World—an extraordinary individual—to master it.

Compared to the fact that only a handful of people in human history have mastered Zaharie's "Fear Vision," "Deep Sea Invasion," and "Rippling Mouth," they are much easier to master.

After all, most of the think tanks associated with "Space Shark" are proficient in this area.

Nimrod also deduced that the "Space Sharks" named the Pale Nomad as the curator of the think tank in honor of the creators of the two unique spells.

He therefore prematurely changed his title from Pale Nomad to Director of the "Space Shark" Think Tank.

"...I present the captured Timefire Alien to you, my lord," the Pale Nomad concluded.

Ninglu nodded in satisfaction. He didn't intend to completely change the culture of the "Space Shark" chapter, as long as they followed orders. He was already satisfied with the current performance of the Pale Nomads and the other Space Sharks.

With a flick of his wrist, a vial of medicine appeared in his palm.

"You have proven your loyalty and ability through your actions, and this is your reward."

"Drink it and you will gain power."

The pale nomad's black, liquid-like eyes stared at the dark green, sticky liquid, his emotions churning.

[So this is the power the Lord of Shadows has gained.]
He reached for the medicine, tilted his head back, and drank it. The strong fishy smell hit his nose as soon as the medicine entered his mouth.

The pale nomad felt as if he had returned to Narctis, to the dark, deep sea.

The waves crashed against him, and invisible, illusory scales rose from beneath his skin.

The pale nomad felt that the waves in the black liquid eyes were more real and profound.

His connection with the ocean is even stronger.

The pale nomad was lost in the waves, the icy seawater crashing against him wave after wave.

His body sluggishly, as if frozen, without his awareness; his blood seemed to freeze as well.

"Meditate!" Lord Ninglu's "majestic" voice echoed in his mind, making him instinctively obey the command.

The pale nomad gathered his thoughts as the waves gradually subsided.

A moment later, the newly recruited "sailor" knelt on one knee.

"Thank you for your grace, my lord. I will do my utmost to fulfill your will."

After the pale nomads retreated, Nimrod waited until night fell again before arriving in the "Land of Chaos".

After he ascended the throne, his spirituality spread, touching the red and yellow orb of light of the "Fire Stealer" Tierney.

According to Tierney's report, he had prepared the promotion ceremony last night as instructed.

Ninglu's spirit touched the sphere of light and immediately saw Tierney wearing a Yard-style hunter's suit.

Unlike his usual black suit, his current outfit is a bright, fiery red.

Its outstretched wings were as dazzling as a fiery red bird.

Tierney looked at the female captain, Diana Pauline, whose blonde hair was neatly tied up, standing in front of her.

"Ms. Pauline, did they dream about me?"

The promotion ceremony for "Dream Thief" is the same as Ninglu's memory, requiring one to become an important supporting character or main villain in the unconscious dreams of at least thirty people.

There is no requirement for how long it lasts, but the dream must occur when the potion is drunk.

If Tierney were to act alone, he would have to repeatedly perform a certain memorable action to make thirty people simultaneously dream of him as an important supporting character or the main villain.

The "Fire Stealer" does not possess the extraordinary ability to influence dreams; only after advancing to the level of "Dream Thief" can one "steal" other people's ideals and dreams.

Nimrod sent the "hypnotist" Diana to assist him, and the dreams created through "psychological suggestion" could easily satisfy his needs.

Utilizing the abilities of others is itself a characteristic of the "wrong" approach. Relying on the help of other extraordinary individuals will not weaken the effect of the ritual; on the contrary, it will enhance it.

Ning stared at the screen and saw Diana's blue-green eyes curiously observing Tierney in the shadows.

“I have strengthened the Volfe family; fifty-six people are dreaming about you.”

“Thank you for your help.” Tierney placed his hand on his chest and thanked the lady before him with the standard etiquette of the European nobility of Terra.

When he was a "con artist," he had already ingrained noble etiquette into his instincts in order to carry out his meticulously planned and perfect scam. Upon seeing this, Ninglu immediately ordered the space apes in the first layer of space to use materials such as the Fire of Time to concoct the Sequence 5 "Dream Thief" potion.

He immediately saw Diana, from the Boleyn family, return the greeting with a crisp and standard gesture.

As Tierney straightened up, the fiery red wings of Yard's suit unfurled, and he took a rapid running start, gliding through the air like a great bird.

Inside the hive, patrolling groups of shadowy figures looked up.

Upon seeing the friendly yellow rune flash across the tactical screen inside their helmet visors, they turned their attention back to searching for the remaining aliens.

The Timefire aliens invaded and wiped out the Hive City's defense forces in their sleep; now, the defense is entirely the responsibility of the "Shadow of Order."

The wind whistled through Tierney as the "Fire Stealer" deftly maneuvered his body, weaving between the spires.

A moment later, he folded his wings and landed on a nest tower.

The original owner's family had been burned to ashes in their sleep, so this place temporarily became the base of operations for the treasure-hunting team.

The Fire Stealer landed on the smooth wall of the Nest Tower and tapped lightly on the window with his fingers.

The shutter latch popped open, and with a click of the motor, he climbed inside.

Tierney drew her spiritual dagger and swiftly struck the runes on the ground.

After activating the "Euclidean Symbols," he immediately began praying to the Black Emperor.

"The Dark Emperor of the Shadow of Order..."

As soon as Tierney finished reciting the incantation for the first time, a storm suddenly arose from the altar, and amidst the billowing black mist, an illusory gate opened.

A bottle of medicine floated down and landed on his outstretched hands.

"Thanks be to my Lord."

After thanking the Black Emperor for his gift, Tierney happily examined the potion in his palm.

It is deep and dark, seemingly capable of binding all thoughts.

Tierney rose, unraveled the Euclid's Symbol, leaped out of the hive tower, and flew toward the Wolffie family's hive tower.

The nobles' normally gleaming haunts were now shrouded in darkness; they didn't want to attract the aliens' attention.

Tierney raised his hand and placed it on the crystal at his waist, and the runes on his body lit up one by one.

The fiery red Yard suit vanished quietly, like a firework.

Inside the Nest Tower, Viscount Wolfe slept soundly amidst the incense.

In the dream, a fiery red figure flew by, and the barrage of bullets fired by the family guards could not keep up with his swift movements.

As he rolled over, the laser beams extending from his arms spun and cut open the treasure vault's doors.

“Useless trash! Kill him!” Viscount Wolfe roared.

He dared not go forward, watching as the guards opened the gate.

Viscount Wolfe craned his neck to look inside and saw the fiery red figure turn around and raise the golden crown in his hand, a mocking smile spreading across his face.

"Shoot!" he roared.

Amidst the clicking of bullet comments, the fiery red figure nimbly slid backward and slipped through the cut hole.

"Useless! All useless!" Viscount Wolfe cursed angrily. His guards, whom he had paid a lot of money to maintain, had been swaggered in by someone who had stolen the family's golden crown.

Inside the Nest Tower, a fiery nightmare lingered in the minds of the fifty-six nobles.

For the past five days, the fiery red figure has brazenly barged in every day, plundering the Wolff family's five treasure vaults.

Every night they dream of an arrogant, fiery red figure.

This man was practically provoking the Wolfe family, which filled them with deep fear.

Evil thieves come and go freely, ready to take their lives at any moment.

As cold sweat soaked the nobles' soft beds, Tierney, who had landed on the Nest Tower, tilted his head back and drank the potion.

As the dark, potent potion entered his mouth, Tierney felt his throat tighten, and he felt suffocated.

The medication slid down my esophagus, and the feeling of suffocation grew stronger.

Tierney's consciousness gradually faded, and his face turned ashen.

Just as he was about to suffocate, countless dark bubbles floated before his eyes.

Each image reflects the nightmare left behind by the fiery red thief.

The deep feeling of suffocation gradually faded away.

Tierney's thoughts gradually returned, and he meditated to gather his focus.

A moment later, Tierney's pale face gradually regained its rosy hue.

Having survived the ordeal, he let out a soft breath and clasped his hands together upside down, becoming the newly minted "Dream Thief".

"Thanks be to my Lord!"
