Chapter 705 You were not exiled by Corax, but reborn; you only need to obey my decrees.
922.M30.

Terra Orbit, Monster.

Alkahas Far, the former commander of the 19th Army Corps, stepped off the Skyhawk shuttle with a somber expression.

The members of the Honor Guard were all taken aback. The youngest among them had been following Lord Alkahas for more than thirteen years and could sense the subtle changes in the Lord's emotions.

Ever since the return of the father of genes, Kovacs Corax, the usually calm Lord Alkahas's eyes had been shining brightly, but now they were filled with an inescapable melancholy.

His pale skin grew even paler, and his dark pupils were completely empty.

Alkahas looked around his honor guard, offered no explanation, and spoke to the captain of the guard.

"Deliver the item that the Emperor entrusted to me to my private armory."

"Yes, sir." The captain of the guard replied in a cold and stern tone, showing no joy at gaining the trust of the Lord of Mankind and undertaking this glorious mission.

The honor guards watched Lord Alkahas depart uneasily, silently following beside their captain.

"You will soon find out..." the captain of the guard said, facing a barrage of probing gazes. "Lord Alkahas will announce our future destiny before we set sail."

His voice was low and his eyes were dull.

Inside the captain's quarters, Alkahas silently had his powered armor removed by his servitor.

He grabbed the black robe, quickly put it on, and strode into an inner cabin.

He raised his hand and pressed it on the control panel, where green runes leaped up.

The moment the hatch opened, Alkahas couldn't wait to go inside.

He quickly inspected the altar, confirming that the candles were burning and the "Iron Law of the King" was in the correct position. After creating a spiritual atmosphere with an even number of ritual knives made of black gold, he knelt on the black onyx mat and began to recite the formal incantation in Dunn:
"The Black Emperor of the Shadow of Order"
……

I pray for Your gaze.

His eyes dimmed, but he continued reciting.

“I pray to You that I and 15,213 Terrans have been exiled by the Primarch.”

"We are dispatched to the borders of the Empire, to relentlessly seek out and eliminate any enemy of humanity."

Alkahas spoke in a low voice, he never imagined he would end up like this.

He was the first legion commander to be exiled; he was abandoned by his father.

The bewildered Alkahas, clinging to his last hope, prayed to the Black Emperor.

"I pray for Your favor! I pray for Your revelation!"

He repeated the recitation, feeling as if time itself slowed down in the silent cabin.

As Alkahas recited the mantra for the third time with unease, black mist surged around him.

The invisible gate suddenly opened with a roar, a strong wind howled, and an irresistible suction enveloped his body, gradually melting away the gloom in his eyes.

Upon seeing the imposing figure perched high in the black mist, Alkahas immediately knelt down.

"My lord."

Nimrod looked down at the kneeling Alkahas, and the "Mentor of Chaos" saw the grayness surrounding his spirit, as well as glimmers of orange hope.

"No need to worry."

The Black Emperor's calm and powerful words instantly dispelled Alkahas's unease, and he began to report with some confusion.

"When I first met the father of genetics, the conversation went fairly well."

"But when I saw him again yesterday, he coldly asked me about past battles."

"After hearing my report, he rebuked me and the Terrans for using excessively cruel methods. He did not give me a chance to explain and exiled me along with most of the Terrans."

Nimrod nodded; he knew that Corax had accessed the War Council's records.

Three factors led Corax to make this decision.

Old Man Huang trained the Terrans to be ruthless warriors.

Nimrod did not reveal the reason, as it was inappropriate to mention it when Alkahas was uneasy and sensitive, lest he suspect that he was blaming him and the Terrans.

He then offered two other reasons.

"The Emperor entrusted the Nineteenth Legion to Horus's command; you are his powerful tools."

"He has entrusted you with many bloody killing missions that tarnish the glorious image of Shadowmoon Wolf."

Alkahas frowned slightly. If the speaker hadn't been the Black Emperor, he would have immediately rebuked him for insulting Lord Horus.

But these words came from the Black Emperor, who instinctively obeyed the "majestic" voice and recalled the past. "Some Primarchs won't care, much less exile you, but you've encountered Corax."

Robert Guilliman also disliked the Terrans, but instead of exiling them, he regarded them as a necessary evil to carry out the extermination order.

"Corax landed on the planet of salvation, was raised by slave laborers, and witnessed them toiling day and night under the guns of armed guards."

"He sees you as guards who oppress slave laborers."

Alkahas suddenly realized, "I understand."

He recalled Corax's cold indifference and his face darkened.

Alkahas knew that he and the Terrans were eternally exiled and would never be recalled.

Nimrod looked down at Alkahas and pointed out that Horus's intention was to sever Alkahas's affection for him, and that mentioning Kolac's experience was to shatter his illusions.

Alkahas's "Space Shark" is a force outside the sight of all parties, a surprise force that makes it difficult for hostile forces to determine its position.

“You were not exiled by Corax, but rather freed from your chains.”

"You have been reborn. From this day forward, you need only follow my commands."

Alkahas's eyes lit up, his loss and confusion vanished, and he looked devoutly at the throne, at the Black Emperor to whom he would serve for the rest of his life.

“My lord, please give me your command.”

The "Chaos Mentor" stared at the "Wind Favorite's" seamless pale blue spirit body, knowing that he had already digested the potion.

"Go to Naktis immediately, and I will grant you new power."

"On the way, you will select your most capable confidants, and I will grant them power."

Nimrod had not cultivated any followers in his other legions, except for those who were powerful.

On the one hand, their loyalty remains to be tested; even the Shadow of Order requires his personal scrutiny, let alone the genetic offspring of other Primarchs.

On the other hand, training other legion warriors on a large scale would also easily expose the operation.

But now that the space sharks have been exiled, they have fewer concerns, and Ninglu has included them in the training program for extraordinary individuals.

"Prioritize the genetic seeds I have given you." Since he began "corroding" Alcajas in 862, 60 years have passed, and he has "corroded" 1369 genetic seeds.

This excludes the companies of Nerat Kilin and Alastor Rorschach.

"The Storm Lord will send them to me."

"They will become your help once they return to your side."

With a flick of his wrist, Ning Lu produced a data crystal.

With a thought, the radiant data crystal fell into Alkahas's palm.

"Your mission for the next eighty years is to find the fragment of the Dark Horn inside the Data Crystal."

The "detectives," led by the "polymath" Arsena Dunn, studied the mycelial scrolls of the Hruds and deduced that in the outer regions of the eastern edge of the galaxy, there existed a kingdom once ruled by Birac.

Nimrod recently used the Shadow Blade as a medium to perform divination with the Prophecy Dice and obtained a star map to that world.

After conducting further divination to confirm the level of danger there, "Winner" John decided to entrust the task to "Space Shark".

Alkahas's eyes lit up. The task given to him by the Black Emperor was like a shining lighthouse, dispelling the fog of uncertainty about his future.

His battle group now has a clear objective.

"My Lord, follow Your will."

Alkahas's eyes regained their usual firmness and composure, and he continued his report.

“My lord, after I was exiled, the Emperor entrusted me with an item.”

"Empty and desolate glass".

Ning Lu's eyes lit up upon hearing this. Just as he remembered, Old Man Huang had entrusted the Void Glass to the Great Forgotten One.

He is Old Man Huang, a contingency plan he prepared for the empire's potentially bleak future.

Ninglu knew that the Void Crystal was different from the Spear of Dionysus; it was not made by Huang Laohan, so he gave the order.

“Offer it to me as a sacrifice.”

A moment later, a strangely shaped piece of black glass appeared out of thin air in Ning Lu's hand.
