Chapter 458 The First Application of Blackstone Technology

Arsène Dunn examines the video feed from Theo's right eye.

Inside the gray building, a dazzling blue light shone. A psionic caste, wielding a staff, raised it high and unleashed psionic flames at a Lucifer Blackguard.

Alsena's gaze sharpened as he saw the Luciferian Black Guard engulfed in psychic flames, his armor instantly melting away, yet he didn't stop.
He instantly appeared in front of the psionic caste and swiftly wielded his power sword.

The dazzling blue lights collided, and the burst of light filled the screen.

As the light faded and Lucifer's Blackguard fell, the psionic caste's greyish-white body also collapsed to the ground.

A hint of sadness flashed across Arsena's eyes as he asked the "deduction student" beside him;
"Are you ready?"

"Sir, we need another thirteen seconds."

“Once everything is ready,” Arsena stood up and walked outside, “we will proceed with the procedures immediately.”

When the voice of "Yes, sir" rang out behind him, Alsena had already walked out of the makeshift command center.

His narrow blue eyes flashed, anticipating that he would be unable to use psionic energy later, and his mental power was converted into physical power without reservation.

The silver-haired psionicist took a step forward, and countless lights shone before him. He followed the light and shadows toward the gate that shone with the beacon.

Alsena uses the "Gate of Infinity" to rush to the target at the same moment.

Above the tracks, a black device the size of a Belik battle tank inside the Stormbird began activation an hour in advance.

For that entire hour, the Shadow of Order within the Stormbirds felt unusually uncomfortable.

The Shadows of Order felt their throats were dry, and their mouths and noses were filled with the smell of rusty metal.

Finally, they received instructions to prepare for the airdrop.

The echoing countdown made them feel that the torment could finally be over.

As the electronic sound ended, the black airdrop crate was dropped.

Arsena returned to the real world 1.5 kilometers from the target. He knew that the Blackrock creation only affected a range of one kilometer, and the "Guardian" also confirmed that there were no flaws in his operation plan, but he was worried that the airdrop would be affected.

He looked into the collapsed black building and saw Lucifer's Black Guards moving among the ruins.

As they ran, they raised their laser guns and precisely fired beams of light.

The psionic castes' ashen faces grew even paler; having lost control of their power, they were even weaker than the lower castes.

The beam of light pierced their heads, and their gray bodies fell to the ground.

Theo fired his gun with one hand while striding forward, his power sword spinning rapidly as he attacked a monster that was as tall as a warhound Titan but much larger in size.

Arsena saw that the monster had wings on its back, but it could not fly. It used its wings as weapons, sweeping them left and right.

Arsena was startled and his gaze swept past the enormous monster, searching for his target.

His narrow blue eyes suddenly narrowed as he saw a figure in a blue robe running quickly outside.

Arsena immediately took off running; as a "Guardian of Knowledge," his speed was much faster than before.

Even without psychic powers, the "Knowledge Keeper" swiftly caught up with the blue-robed figure.

Beriso heard footsteps behind him and his expression suddenly changed.

Damn it! If I had known this would happen, I should have accepted the escort from the guards.

How did the "Shadow of Order" come to know how to render psionic powers ineffective?

What fell from the sky?
In despair, Beriso suddenly raised an eyebrow. He felt the warp again, felt the power he had lost return to him.

Although not all, it still represents nearly half of the force.

Beriso raised his staff high and unleashed a bolt of blue lightning.

When Alcéna saw that Berso had run a kilometer, he did not stop and rushed straight after him.

In a time when it could only launch one attack in the past, the "Guardian" launched twelve attacks in a row, each striking the same spot on the psionic shield with pinpoint accuracy.

With a piercing strike, the blue psionic shield shattered.

Beriso's expression changed. He hadn't expected that the powerful psionicist, who wasn't as strong as himself, was actually a powerful warrior, even stronger than the most powerful warrior caste he had ever seen, one that had evolved for over a hundred generations.

The "Keeper of Knowledge" leaped forward, grabbed Beriso's arm with his right hand, and then turned and slammed him to the ground.

Beriso's arm was twisted into a pretzel shape, and the staff in his hand fell to the ground.

Arsena drew the Staff of Osiris from behind his back, infused it with psionic energy, and slammed it heavily onto Beliso's back.

Beriso's painful groans stopped abruptly, her eyes glazed over.

Arsena turned to look behind him and saw Laurent holding up his shield in front of Theo, blocking the bird-like monster's attack.

The Guardian's blue eyes narrowed. He noticed that Laurent would always appear in front of Theo, raising his shield to block the attack, and each time the angle between Laurent and his body and the ground was different.

With each impact, the force is dissipated in the most ingenious way.

Laurent completed the action in an instant; it was an instinct honed through countless trials.

Theo launched a series of attacks on the bird-like creature, and each time the bird-like monster retaliated, it would retreat behind Laurent.

He would launch a swift counterattack before the bird-like creature could strike, leaving new wounds on the bird-like monster.

After gazing for a moment, the "Guardian of Knowledge" thought to himself.

[I need extensive training to achieve swordsmanship like Theo's.]
The beeping sound interrupted Alsena's thoughts.

He turned on his communicator, and a series of sounds came through.

A captivating female voice rang out, "Mission accomplished, target captured."

"I have stolen Highlord Ismail back," a resolute male voice rang out.

The familiar voice came from Malena Scarla: "I have captured Uriah."

Upon hearing this, Alsena's long-standing worries vanished instantly.

[My action plan succeeded; I completed the Black Emperor's mission.]
Alsena let out a soft breath, turned on his communicator, and reported to the Black Emperor.

"My lord, we have successfully captured four high lords."

A few seconds later, Ning Lu's voice came through the communicator.

"You have successfully completed the mission."

Arsena suddenly felt the stars within his body shatter, and thought to himself.

[I have become a true "guardian of knowledge".]
After turning off the communicator, Ninglu's gaze swept across the battlefield and landed on the location of Stradivarius in the distance.
