Chapter 310 The Shadow of Order Among the Katachan People

Chapter 310 The Shadow of Order Among the Katachan People
The first month of 837.

The shadowy figure of the Catachan Order, Polti, led his squad on Catachan wolves to Foundry No. 19 of the Seventh Foundry Temple.

The foundry had long been destroyed by savage war beasts, leaving only ruins.

Each of the Katachans warriors was tall and strong, surpassing the other non-Extraordinary Order Shadows, and comparable to the newly acquired Eighteenth Legion, known as the "Salamanders."

The Talerians' large herds of war beasts were routed at the start of the hunt.

For months, the Qatari hunters had been hunting scattered herds of war beasts.

Polti gently stroked his Catachan wolf and whispered, "Broken Claw, take the pack, find the herd, and lure them over."

"After this, all my salamander meat is yours."

After the Primarch left Nocturne, he would often distribute salamander meat to the various chapters, and Porty also received some.

Katachon is not adjacent to the agricultural world controlled by the Legion. Like most Imperial Legions, the 7th Chapter usually eats triglyceride gel and amino porridge, and is injected with intravenous nutrition packs and nutrient paste during battle.

When they want to change their bland taste, they can only eat dried Katachan snake meat and other similar foods.

Salamander meat is a rare delicacy for Polti.

But this time he decided to bring out the precious food, because he had earned a chance for the merits he had won in the previous battles against the Eldar pirates and Osiris.

Polti learned that he was already a candidate for the Honor Guard.

In order to qualify to follow in the footsteps of the Father of Genes, he must perform better than the other candidates in this battle to wipe out the beast horde.

The green-furred broken claw lost half of its left claw in the fight to hunt the Katachon demon.

This is why it got its name, and also why it became the alpha wolf.

Broken Claw let out a low howl at the other nine Katachon wolves, then turned and ran, its pack following behind at breakneck speed.

Polti looked at his squad of soldiers, his eyes shining.

“Unlike our Catachan wolves, the pack of beasts doesn’t have armor for protection, and the Talelians are simple-minded, so they can predict the path of the pack when they are chasing it.”

"Therefore, we laid fragmentation mines to carry out a great hunt."

The Shadow Order immediately sprang into action; they had already been honed into masters of traps and booby traps in the jungles of Katachon.

After setting up the fragmentation mine traps, the ambush masters, now in a state of order, entered their respective positions and waited.

They are excellent hunters, patiently waiting for the wolves to lure their prey.

The rapid, clattering sound of hooves filled their ears, and the shadowy figures of the Katachang Order conjured in their minds an image of a horde of beasts charging in like an overwhelming tide.

Polti saw his severed claw and ran at the front, followed by a dense, countless herd of war beasts.

The aliens come in various shapes, including a huge rhinoceros-like beast with a strange face on its front hooves.

It has the body of a lion, with its head on its belly, which sways back and forth as it runs.

……

Polti pulled a signal flare from his person, threw it, and the flare hit a meter in front of the booby trap before bursting into a blinding green light.

The wolf pack nimbly turned and ran to the sides in front of the extended ring of the signal flare.

Most of the war beasts, however, did not have time to stop and recklessly crashed into the booby trap zone.

Boom boom boom!
The buried fragmentation grenades were detonated, tearing thousands of Talarians to pieces in the explosion, the shockwave carrying the mangled limbs skyward.

"Fire!" Polti gave the order, and the rain of blood had no effect on the vision of the Shadow of Order.

Dense barrages of bullets blanketed the war beast horde, efficiently reaping the aliens.

Porti fired magazine after magazine until he was empty, and the Talerian identification runes in his eyes disappeared rapidly.

The threat assessment in the tactical interface has been downgraded from "medium threat level" to "low threat level".

It wasn't until the automatic sensing system assessed that the number of beasts had decreased to only 10.25% that the alien's primitive mind finally reacted.

The first lion-shaped Talerian turned and fled, followed by more aliens.

"Pursuit!"

The shadowy figures of the Catachan order drew their demonic claws, their power swords unlike any other. The pommel was a sharp bird's head, the blade a half-serrated, cold steel point.

The Katachon people call this type of Katachon weapon the Devil's Claw, and their longest blade is 1.2 meters.

The officers of the 7th Legion and the Katachon Auxiliary Army all replicated the blade form, forging power swords, but the Order Shadows' were longer to match their bodies.

The shadows of order, like speeding tanks, caught up with the tail of the herd in an instant.

They wielded demonic claws, their charged blades spinning rapidly as they reaped alien life.

At the same time, the wolf pack moved in unison, with the Catachan wolves galloping at high speed from both sides of the war beasts, tearing at the lion-shaped alien running at the front.

The Talerians tried to escape time and again, but were entangled by the Catachan wolves' speed, and only a few managed to escape in the end.

In the fourth month of 837, the territory of the Mordred family, the most powerful family in Carradion.

Explosions continued, and rubble was everywhere.

Punisher-type Horned Viper Knight mech, Abomination Rebel.

Victor, the patriarch of House Mordred, puts power into his drivetrain.

He saw yet another friendly rune disappear and shouted into the communicator.

“I have already appealed to the Temple of Forging for help, and the sages have told me that Primarch Nimrod has dispatched the Divine Machines to our aid.”

"Rescue will arrive soon, hang in there!"

Viktor spoke quickly, and to give the knights the courage to fight the Titans, he sent the communication text to all the knight mechs.

He gripped the touchscreen gloves tightly, struggling to control the Abomination Rebel and evade the attacks of the Five Rebel Titans.

After the rebels seized the Titans guarding the Temple of Forging, and after a long period of repair and training of crew members, they dispatched the Titans to attack Mordred four standard hours ago.

The Victor family fought to the death. Although they managed to destroy four Titans thanks to their defensive facilities, they also suffered heavy losses, losing twelve Knight mechs and a large amount of assets.

With a deafening roar, Victor bit his lip as a massive yellow war engine surged toward Mordred's family knights from his left front.

He wielded a massive chainsaw sword, mercilessly slashing at his former comrades-in-arms.

The shattered steel arm slammed down in front of Victor, filling his mind with rage.

Victor raised the left arm of the Abomination Rebellion and fired a fiery cannonball of vengeance at the divine machine he once admired, now his enemy.

His precise skills allowed him to accurately hit the Warlord-class Titan with his cannonballs.

Boom boom boom!
The deafening roar of explosions and the explosive bursts of intense energy were deafening, but Victor showed no joy.

The oracle on his crown sent a signal informing him that the Warlord-class Titan was unharmed.

Viktor felt as if he had fallen into an ice cave. He knew that the Abomination Rebel was no match for the God Machine, and his attacks hadn't even overloaded the Titan's Void Shield.

He gripped the touchscreen gloves and maneuvered the Abomination Rebel with astonishing agility, constantly changing direction and rapidly retreating.

The Victor Crown sounded an urgent alarm; he had been targeted by three Titans, and the rebels wanted to kill the patriarch of the Mordred Knights first.

As Victor was consumed by despair, suddenly the oracle's runes flashed at a high frequency.

A tall, yellow war engine came into his view.

That wasn't the striped yellow of a tiger's eye, but a shimmering golden yellow, the yellow of a "war griffin."

The "War Griffin" Legion, commanded by Nimrod, was tasked with taking advantage of the Titans' status as divine machines within the Mechanicus to reclaim the various knightly families and assist in dismantling the enemy's heavily fortified strongholds.

Now, they only have one last objective: to rescue the Mordred family.

Titan after Titan entered the battlefield, launching a relentless attack on the rebel Titans with overwhelming numbers.

The overwhelming firepower suppressed the firepower of the Five Platforms rebel Titans.

Viktor, who has escaped from dire straits, leads the knights of House Mordred, in cooperation with the "War Griffin," to unleash the flames of vengeance upon their enemies.

When the forty-first War Gryphon Titan entered the battlefield, all the rebel Titans were destroyed.
