Supreme Golden Palace

Chapter 203 Famous Weapon

Chapter 203 Famous Weapon (Part 2)

In the vast wilderness of mountains and seas, beneath the Great Unity, the most supreme and noble beings were the Three Sovereigns, and after the Three Sovereigns came the Five Emperors.

According to the elders of the Great Wilderness, the heavens and the earth were born from Taiyi. Taiyi gave birth to water, which in turn assisted Taiyi, thus forming the heavens. The heavens, in turn, assisted Taiyi, thus forming the earth. Thus, the heavens and the earth came into being, and there are all the myriad phenomena in this world.

Furthermore, according to the number of days in the universe, one cycle consists of 129,600 years.

One cycle is divided into twelve periods, and each period lasts for 10,800 years, which is called one cycle.

From the beginning of creation to the attainment of the Dao by Emperor Yu of the Xia Dynasty, the eras of the Heavenly Sovereign, the Earthly Sovereign, the Human Sovereign, the Fuxi Sovereign, and the Five Dragons Sovereign have been passed down.

The Heavenly Emperor Chronicle is the beginning of the universe, when all the gods were ignorant. The true spirit of Taiyi manifested, established the rules of heaven, set the order of the earth, and divided the nine heavens and nine fields, thus bringing order to heaven and earth.

Respected by all the gods, he was called the Heavenly Emperor, the first emperor of the Great Wilderness of Mountains and Seas. After ruling for 1800 years, the Heavenly Emperor returned to the Great Unity.

After the Heavenly Emperor, Nuwa was born with holy virtues. She was conceived by the true spirit of the Heavenly Emperor and became the goddess of the Supreme God. All the gods jointly elected her as the emperor. She was the second emperor of the Great Wilderness of Mountains and Seas, also known as the Earthly Emperor or Earth Mother. After ruling the world for 18,000 years, the Earthly Emperor sacrificed herself to merge with the Dao, mended the flaws in the heavens, and her remains returned to the void.

After the Earthly Sovereign, the Nine-Headed Clan was born with supreme virtue. She was conceived by the true spirit of the Earthly Sovereign and was unanimously elected as the Emperor by all the gods. She was the third Emperor of the Great Wilderness of Mountains and Seas, and was known as the Tai Emperor.

Tai means Taiyi, which is close to Taiyi!

From then on, the Way of the Three Sovereigns was perfected, the Way of the Gods flourished, and the gods descended to earth to become human beings, thus beginning the ancient human race.

In ancient times, the human race was a divine race. Emperor Tai was the emperor of the divine race, also known as the human emperor. After ruling for 18,000 years, the human emperor was involved in the mysteries of heaven and earth, and explored the vast universe. He was a god in the heavens and a saint on the earth, ruling over the way of heaven.

However, things reach their extremes and then reverse; prosperity leads to decline. When the Nine-Headed Clan reached the end of the Three Sovereigns' path, in order to transcend the number of heaven and earth, he refined the Star Mill and transformed the boundless cataclysmic calamity, wanting to return heaven and earth to chaos and prove the true form of Taiyi.

This act caused a calamity to befall heaven and earth, all the gods rebelled, and the Nine-Headed Clan was transformed into a Taoist.

After the Three Sovereigns passed away, the true spirit of the Human Sovereign gave birth to Fuxi. Fuxi studied the innate numbers and mastered the acquired arts, followed the Daoist lineage of the Three Sovereigns, and adhered to the ultimate principles of the Great Dao. Finally, he opened up a new path outside of the Three Sovereigns, returned to the innate state, and transcended the numbers of Heaven and Earth. All the gods revered him as the Heavenly Emperor, and he entered the realm of the Azure Heaven.

After King Fuxi ruled the world, he enfeoffed various lords and ruled for 18,000 years. Among the descendants of Fuxi were the following fifteen divine beings: Da Ting, Bai Huang, Zhong Yang, Su Lu, Li Lian, He Xu, Zun Lu, Hundun, Hao Ying, You Chao, Zhu Xiang, Getian, Yin Kang, and Wu Huai. All of these divine beings inherited the title of King Fuxi.

After the reign of Fuxi, the Lieshan clan, a branch of the Zhu Xiang clan, participated in the burning of fire for all living beings, and embodied the virtue of fire, thus becoming known as the Yan Emperor and ruling the Yan Heaven.

Emperor Hong, a branch of the Fuxi clan, inherited the lineage of the Human Emperor, participated in the mysteries of Heaven and Earth, and embodied the auspicious virtue of Earth. He was called the Yellow Emperor and entered the realm of the Heavenly Emperor.

The Jintian clan, a branch of the Dihong clan, received the auspicious omen of the Jinde (metal virtue) and was called the White Emperor, who then took charge of the Haotian (a heavenly realm).

The Gaoyang clan, a branch of the Jintian clan, received the auspicious omen of the Water Virtue and was known as the Black Emperor, who then took charge of the Xuantian realm.

Thus, the five Heavenly Emperors—Fuxi, Lieshan, Dihong, Jintian, and Gaoyang—ruled the world and were collectively known as the Five Dragons. With the Five Dragons complete, Gaoyang severed the connection between Heaven and Earth, preventing communication between humans and gods, and avoiding any conflict between them.

After the Five Dragons Era came the current Human King Era. Emperor Jun of the Gaoxin clan, a branch of the Emperor Hong clan, ruled the world. His wife Xihe gave birth to ten suns, and his wife Changxi gave birth to twelve months. Emperor Jun of the Gaoxin clan was the father of the sun and moon.

The Gaoxin clan ruled the world for twenty-one generations before being replaced by Emperor Yao of the collateral Taotang clan. Emperor Yao ordered the divine man Yi to shoot down nine suns and eliminate the six scourges: the Yayu, the Zaochi, the Jiuying, the Dafeng, the Fengxi, and the Xiushe, thus ruling the world.

After Emperor Yao, the Tao Tang clan declined in virtue after six generations. Emperor Shun of the You Yu clan seized the opportunity to rise up, established the five punishments, clarified the laws and regulations, and standardized weights and measures. He gained the support of the feudal lords and became the ruler of the world.

After Emperor Shun, the Yu clan lost the Mandate of Heaven after three generations. The Xiahou clan, a branch of the Emperor Hong clan, rose to power. Emperor Yu of the Xiahou clan controlled the floods of the nine provinces, enfeoffed and suppressed giant demons such as Wuzhiqi, won the hearts of the feudal lords of the world, and eventually ruled the world.

"Xia Hou's family,"

Lü Shang raised his eyes and gazed into the depths of the twilight, as if he could traverse ten thousand mountains and seas to see the Xia capital tens of thousands of miles away. A thunderous roar seemed to resound in his ears, the response of the great Dao of Heaven and Earth to him.

"Attain enlightenment today!"

Without further hesitation, he suddenly tightened his grip on the Zhurong Banner.

The small crimson flag moved without wind, and the fire patterns on its surface seemed to come alive, rising up in raging flames, but instead of burning people, they transformed into crimson-gold streams of light, like starlight falling into his brow.

At the same time, the Gonggong bloodline within him suddenly awakened, no longer surging faintly as before, but surging like a mighty river, roaring and rushing through his limbs and bones. Dark blue water patterns emerged from beneath his skin, merging with the crimson-gold firelight surging into his flesh and blood.

As water and fire interact, the half-human, half-snake phantom behind Lü Shang becomes increasingly clear.

The snake's scales shimmered with a deep blue light, while the human face was tinged with crimson-gold fire patterns. The water and fire energies were no longer chaotically surrounding each other, but rather gradually formed a vortex like a tai chi symbol around the phantom, with a rhythm of yin and yang slowly flowing within it.

Above the city walls of Xudu, the weather changed dramatically. The twilight that had been settling down was torn apart by an invisible force, half the sky bursting into crimson light, while the other half rose into a dark mist. The crimson light and the dark mist reflected each other, causing the people of Xudu to look up in astonishment and uncertainty.

Just as the path to immortality in the martial arts world of Jambudvipa involves changes in the heavenly secrets and earthly fields, the path to immortality in the Great Wilderness Mountains and Seas is also marked by unusual signs.

"That is?"

"A strange phenomenon has appeared in the sky. Could it be that a deity has descended to earth?"

Within Xuchang, the only two sages, Wu Wenhe and Lü Chong, looked solemnly at where Lü Shang was.

With their profound cultivation, they could naturally sense the vital energy of heaven and earth emanating from Lü Shang's breath.

"It must be His Majesty! His Majesty possesses extraordinary talent; he is destined to attain godhood!"

Wu Wenhe's heart skipped a beat. He turned around abruptly and said to his personal guards in a deep voice, "Pass on my order: close all four gates tightly. Each brigade commander shall lead his soldiers to patrol every street and alley, so that the people will not disturb His Majesty."

"promise!"

The guards obeyed and rushed off, the clanging of their armor particularly clear in the twilight.

When Wu Wenhe looked up again, the strange phenomena on the city wall had become even more astonishing.

The crimson sunset, like molten gold poured out, illuminated half of the city as if it had fallen into a sea of fire, yet it was not scorching at all.

The mist, like ice frozen in a cold pool, drifted over the western city walls, and touching it brought a sense of warmth.

The two forces intertwined above the city wall. Water and fire are inherently antagonistic, but at this moment they were in harmony and complement each other, a truly wondrous sight.

"Water and fire complement each other,"

Wu Wenhe's hand trembled slightly as he stroked his beard, and astonishment flashed in his eyes: "Your Majesty's foundation in Tao has become so profound."

On the city tower, Lü Shang was completely absorbed in his own world. The half-human, half-snake phantom behind him slowly raised its head and merged with the human head.

"The origin of creation, the pivot of yin and yang, is not bound by physical form, nor limited by time and space. Its essence is formless, its function is inexhaustible, it pervades heaven and earth without being full, it nurtures all things without relying on itself, this is called the spirit!"

At this moment, everything he had been thinking about suddenly became clear!
