Chapter 440 Handover
Xu Yimin was grabbed by Sun Zhiwei at the cabin door and was even teased by him.

Seeing Sun Zhiwei's face covered in grime, his military uniform was wrinkled and worn, and although his eyes were bright, dark circles were faintly visible under his eyes.

She couldn't bring herself to say anything harsh to him, and instead asked softly, "Are you alright?"

“Great, I can still take down two cows now.” Sun Zhiwei proudly flexed his biceps.

"Hmph, I'll settle the score with you later. Let's go back."

Xu Yimin was about to turn and leave after he finished speaking, but Sun Zhiwei stopped him.

"Wait a minute, leader. This time we brought back a lot of local specialties, and it will take a truck to carry them all."

"What are you carrying in so much?"

"You come with me."

Sun Zhiwei then led Xu Yimin to the bottom of the cabin, casually opened a wooden box, and pulled out a document.

At this moment, the soldiers who were originally guarding him had already left the cabin under the leadership of their squad leader, leaving only the two of them in the cargo hold.

When Xu Yimin took the document from Sun Zhiwei with a puzzled look, he glanced at it and his hand immediately trembled.

The thin document's cover featured a familiar red star and shield emblem, with a line of Russian text below reading: "List of MI6 personnel who have been reformed."

The cover is small and has a single line of text, but it contains a surprisingly large amount of information.

How could he not be surprised that an internal KGB document contained information from another major power's top intelligence organization?

The word 'influence' is used vividly, immediately conveying that this is a report on achievements.

"What are these?" Xu Yimin looked at the three large boxes on the ground in a daze.

"Yes, all of them, a total of 21034 copies."

"How is this possible? Where did you get this?" Xu Yimin gripped the document tightly in his hand, his voice cracking slightly.

"Are you going to have a detailed discussion with me here?" Sun Zhiwei asked, looking at the empty cabin.

"Oh dear, I've lost my mind. These things need to be moved back immediately."

"Xiao Liu~" Xu Yimin called out towards the cabin door.

"Hey, sir, I'm here." Before the words were even finished, a short soldier in military uniform darted in from outside the cabin door.

He deliberately lowered his body as he entered the cabin, placing his hands on his holster, and immediately scanned the entire cabin with his eyes.

Sun Zhiwei watched his actions the whole time and couldn't help but exclaim, "Boss, this kid is pretty good! Where did you find him?"

"Hehe, it's none of your business if I have a keen eye for talent. If you want to find someone, go find them yourself."

"Xiao Liu, which military unit is responsible for airport security?"

"Leader, it's the 6th Company of the 10th Regiment of the 2nd Police Division, and the company commander is Han Dabiao."

“Go and call him here. Oh, and tell him to bring two platoons of soldiers and three trucks.”

"He's a leader, but..." Xiao Liu didn't finish his sentence, but his eyes glanced at Sun Zhiwei.

“Execute the order. This is my old subordinate. Go ahead and do it. With him here, I am safer than ever.”

Xiao Liu was a little unconvinced by what he heard, but since his superior had already given the order, he had no choice but to comply.

"Yes." Xiao Liu didn't say anything more, turned around and got off the plane.

Xu Yimin, however, didn't remain idle. Instead, he turned back to the wooden crate and took out several documents to examine. Sun Zhiwei simply watched with a smile as his expression shifted like a neon light.

He can now remain calm and composed when faced with these classified documents.

After all, he spent half a month browsing through GKB's archives, reading through all sorts of confidential documents that pushed the boundaries of acceptable content.

Ordinary classified information could no longer arouse his emotions.

Before long, the sound of trucks came from afar. Han Dabiao, the company commander of the Sixth Company, led two platoons of soldiers in three trucks to the side of the Il-62.

"Reporting, Han Dabiao is here to report for duty. Please give instructions."

"Comrade Han Dabiao, I'm entrusting you with an important task."

"Take your men, load these three wooden crates onto the cart, and follow me."

"I have only one requirement: everyone must refrain from looking, listening, and speaking throughout the entire process. Is that possible?"

"I guarantee the mission will be completed." Han Dabiao agreed and immediately ordered his men to move the goods onto the machines.

These wooden boxes are quite heavy, but they can withstand the weight of so many young men.

Six of them carried one crate at a time, and quickly loaded the three large wooden crates into the back of the middle truck.

After that, Xu Yimin's jeep led the way, followed by three trucks, and the convoy drove out of the airport and into the city.

Finally, led by Xu Yimin, the convoy arrived at a large courtyard by the lake. There were armed guards on duty at the entrance of the courtyard, but no sign was displayed.

Sun Zhiwei followed the same principle as the soldiers: he didn't look, didn't listen, and didn't speak; he remained silent throughout.

After the convoy drove into the yard, Xu Yimin told them to wait in the car while he ran inside to find someone.

Soon a group of soldiers came to relieve Han Dabiao's men. They unloaded the wooden crates from the truck and transported them into the building inside.

Xu Yimin followed the documents in to register and hand them over. The convoy did not leave the compound until the documents were handed over.

After they returned to the main road, Xu Yimin explained to Sun Zhiwei:
"That's the office of the Second Division. You haven't been there yet. I'll formally take you there next time after I ask my superiors."

"Understood. Thank you, leader." He knew very well that in some places, you couldn't get in without recognition, no matter what level you were or how much merit you had.

Xu Yimin has already reviewed a lot of the materials and should be able to determine their confidentiality level.

Only a handful of organizations can receive all that data, demonstrating its extremely high level of capability.

Xu Yimin's statement just now indicates that he will act as Sun Zhiwei's guarantor.

This is a huge favor; if Sun Zhiwei does anything outrageous in the future, he will have to take responsibility.

Halfway there, the jeep and the truck parted ways. Han Dabiao led his men back to the airport, while Sun Zhiwei and his men returned to the diplomatic building.

In Xu Yimin's office, the two sat down on the sofa, and Sun Zhiwei began to recount his experiences after getting off the train.

In particular, the archive director with the peculiar hobbies, Vasily Mitrokhin, holds a very important position, and perhaps the country will need him in the future.

As for the white swan he acquired on a whim, there's no way to explain it for now. He can only store it in his space for the time being and take it out when the time is right.

With that, his trip abroad was successfully completed, and his home was also thoroughly cleaned and looked much tidier.

The comrade he replaced will also be properly arranged; he can't be allowed to return to Moscow. His name is probably already on the KGB's blackboard.
