Chapter 372 Imperial Knights

Chapter 372 Imperial Knights

The continuous gunfire from inside the villa had already alerted the neighbors, and the police were on their way.

Sun Zhiwei didn't delay any longer, changed cars directly, and left via another route.

The next morning, Sun Zhiwei ate breakfast while reading a local Georgetown newspaper—the Georgetown University Gazette.

The newspaper carried a headline: Last night, police cracked a case of kidnapping and assaulting a minor girl.

The perpetrators were a dozen or so 3KD members who fiercely resisted in their hideout on the Maryland border and have all been killed.

Police rescued six underage girls from the criminals' hideout. The families of the rescued girls expressed their sincere gratitude to the police for their heroic efforts.

Georgetown Police Chief Jonny Cox has seen a surge in local approval ratings and is reportedly considering running for the next round of district council elections.

When Sun Zhiwei saw this, he almost spat out the milk in his mouth.

Chief Cox of the Georgetown Police Department has a keen political sense; he knows how to use this big news to boost his own image. He's truly a talent.

After the news reports came out, 3KD's reputation in the local area was ruined, and no one was willing to join related groups anymore.

Former members of the 'White Alliance' have also begun to hide their identities or distance themselves from them, for fear of being implicated in the scandal.

Although Sun Zhiwei's information did not appear in the police case files, the FBI's 3KD file contained information about a mysterious killer.

Meanwhile, information about the local 3KD group 'White Alliance' was officially sealed away because of the complete annihilation of their leaders.

At the same time, Captain Wang of the delegation's security advance team also received the intelligence that Sun Zhiwei had given him from Lao Han.

This intelligence came at a very opportune time, giving Captain Wang and his team, who had been focused on basic security checks, a target for their operation.

The relevant information was quickly reported to his superiors.

The higher authorities, considering that this was not in their own country, could not take direct action, and Twin Oaks also had many supporters in the United States.

So, the higher-ups decided to pass the buck to Jimmy.

A copy of the documents was quickly made and submitted to the White House. Jimmy was furious and ordered the FBI to investigate immediately and resolve the security risks as soon as possible.

Just as Sun Zhiwei was heading to work at the shop at noon, a group of FBI agents stormed into Twin Oaks, arrested a group of organizers who were having a meeting, and seized a lot of documents.

This group of people will most likely be fine, since they do have supporters.

Although there's nothing they can do about it, the FBI is Jimmy's henchman after all. They just arrested someone, and they can't just release them immediately because of a few words from a politician. Doesn't Jimmy have any pride?

They should at least be kept in custody until the end of the visit, to prevent them from causing trouble for the delegation after they come out.

Although they will be fine, their scheme to sell the embassy for $20 will have to be shelved.

After receiving the briefing the following day, Sun Zhiwei mentioned the sale of the embassy for $20 in his reply.

Then he gave Lao Han an idea: find a way to acquire Shuangxiangyuan under the guise of demanding compensation.

Now we hear there's a shortage of office space, right? There's such a big park, let's take advantage of it, build a few more buildings, and then we'll have plenty of office space.

To avoid the possibility that Twin Oaks Park might be registered as a historical building in the future, leaving it there to look at every day and feel uncomfortable.

The intelligence from Washington has already been reported to the advance team, who will naturally handle it. Sun Zhiwei decided to go to Houston to check on the situation there.

Given that the Houston area is 3KD's traditional sphere of influence, with numerous branches and a wide membership, and lacking reliable sources, he could only proceed cautiously, taking it one step at a time. The delegation's schedule was set for arrival in Washington on January 29th, and today was already the 26th; time was running out.

Sun Zhiwei arrived at the airport at noon and boarded a small flight to Houston.

That evening, after arriving at Houston Airport, he didn't rest but went straight to the FBI's files, visiting each and every one of them.

That very night, he figured out a lot about the four 3KD branches in Houston.

Two of these small groups have only a few hundred members and their main focus is on making money. 3KD's white supremacy is just a front they use to serve their business.

Such groups were naturally not on Sun Zhiwei's elimination list, so he simply skipped them.

The focus is on two other large groups: the Imperial Knights and the Knights of Light.

The Knights of Light advocate promoting their racist ideology through legal means, rather than through violence.

The Knights of Light operate like a normal social group, mostly in the open.

Because of their relatively mild approach to things, they have a significant number of members in the middle class and political circles.

From a long-term perspective, the Knights of Light pose a greater threat to the country; they are like wolves in sheep's clothing, making them even more deceptive.

In contrast, the Imperial Knights are known for their strict organization and high level of secrecy, and members must undergo rigorous screening and swear an oath to join.

The Imperial Knights' practices are disliked by most normal people, but they are even more secretive, with only a few members' information available in the FBI's files.

Although Sun Zhiwei's investigation tonight uncovered more members of the Imperial Knights, he did not find their hideout.

Because of the urgency of the situation, he no longer had time to slowly follow the clues and had to resort to drastic measures.

He worked through the night to dig an underground interrogation room in a remote location, and then arrested and tortured several members of the Imperial Knights he already knew about.

Shortly after dawn, Sun Zhiwei, covered in blood and pale-faced, emerged from a secluded grove, clutching a stack of papers filled with writing.

He tried to breathe in the fresh air while gagging against a large tree.

In those few hours, he had obtained enough information.

This Imperial Knights were far more sinister than he had imagined, no less so than the 'Black Legion' of thirty years ago.

To his shock, the Imperial Knights were home to many wealthy and highly educated individuals.

Because of the secretive registration system, only a few senior members know their true identities.

By day, they are the elite of society, constantly spouting words of charity and compassion.

At night, they transform into evil thugs, committing all sorts of disgusting and outrageous acts that defy common sense.

Over the past decade or so, they have murdered hundreds of people, and there are six places where they dispose of the bodies.

Of course, the current 3KD, especially its relatively violent branches, has been reduced to very few people due to the continuous suppression and crackdown by the US government.

The Imperial Knights were just one of the few who slipped through the net; compared to the 3KD's peak performance decades ago, their actions were merely minor.
