Chapter 442 Just Prey
Nashinno City, Kryptonian Base
Astra and Norn are facing off, and the atmosphere is very tense.

The two started arguing about the Great Purge.

Norn insisted on carrying out the Great Purge and had already activated the device without informing Astra. When Astra discovered this, she tried to shut down the device, but Norn stopped her, and the two began to argue.

It's always so nonsensical.

But with the activation of the purge devices, the entire city of Nashino was under electronic signal control, and chaos ensued.

After Kara knocked down the controlled Super Intelligence Department soldiers with a few punches and, together with Ron and Ronz, re-imprisoned the escaped aliens and the controlled Super Intelligence Department personnel, the situation in the city was completely out of control.

"Old... Chief, Nashino City is completely out of control. If this continues, the entire city of Nashino will fall under their control."

"Nashinno is, after all, a jewel of the United States. With something like this happening, we can't just rely on a few of us, can we? What did the president say?!"

“Now the network signal in Nashno has been completely cut off, and all the access routes have been blocked by the National Guard,” Kara said dejectedly.

"Seriously?! They're doing this?!" Kevin smirked, muttering under his breath, "What a shoddy operation!"

"what?!"

“It’s nothing. Since this was caused by the Kryptonians, we should address it at its source. Let’s go straight to Rothsburg and take care of them.” Kevin stood up, a helpless expression on his face. “Kara, have confidence in yourself, understand?”

"Understood!" Kara puffed out her chest, a hint of excitement flashing in her eyes.

I don't know why, but ever since she was trained by Kevin, she gets excited whenever she hears about a fight.

This is perhaps what is meant by "possessing a powerful weapon, one's murderous intent arises spontaneously."

————I am the dividing line————

Rozburg

Astra and Norn were locked in a standoff, neither able to convince the other, and were about to resort to force when suddenly a series of exclamations and screams came from outside.

"Who?"

The two turned their heads at the same time, only to see a figure flying straight in from outside the control room.

With a wave of his hand, Norn knocked the flying man to the ground. Upon closer inspection, he realized it was an alien prisoner from Rozburg, now serving as their subordinate.

Looking at the entrance to the control room, a figure draped in a black cloak appeared in front of the two.

"Who are you?" For some reason, an extremely dangerous feeling crept into their hearts.

The newcomer did not answer them, but instead raised the metal hilt of his sword.

call out!
With a soft sound, a bright green lightsaber appeared in front of the two. The moment the lightsaber's blade flashed, they realized where the danger came from.

Kryptonite!

The lightsaber's blade felt exactly like kryptonite, but it was far more dangerous. Even from a great distance, they could feel the chilling and perilous aura emanating from the blade.

Although they have developed light armor that can evade kryptonite radiation through research, it is clear that the light blades on the other side do not rely on radiation to harm people.

Almost instantly, Norn disappeared from Astra's side.

Bang! !

Disappear, then reappear!
They appear much faster than they disappear.

The instant Norn's body disappeared, it was bounced back by an invisible force and slammed heavily against the metal wall of the control room. The smell of burning filled the air, and Astra then saw that Norn, who had been thrown back, was not whole. One of his arms had been cut off and fell at the cloaked man's feet. The cut had been charred by the high temperature.

"You..." Astra's expression changed drastically. Kryptonians, under the influence of the yellow sun, possessed almost invincible strength and bodies of steel. Frankly, on Earth, aside from being stabbed by a Kryptonite dagger earlier, they had never been injured. But now, with just one sword strike, an arm had been severed. This meant that against this mysterious figure, their steel bodies were no longer effective. Kevin brandished his lightsaber and curled his lip.

"How boring!" he muttered, the light blade vanished, he hung the hilt of his sword on his waist, raised his head again, looked at Astram, and his eyes suddenly turned bloodshot. "All you need is to make up your mind."

Astra sensed something and was about to attack when a white light flashed before his eyes, followed by a blank stare.

Kaleidoscope Eye Technique: Kotoamatsukami!

"Astra, are you alright?!"

It's unclear how much time passed, perhaps only a few seconds, but Norn stood up. The mysterious cloaked figure had vanished, and Astra stood there blankly, as if affected by the Great Purge. Ignoring the pain in his arm, Norn rushed over, supporting Astra with his remaining hand and calling out with concern.

"puff!!"

As soon as he finished speaking, he felt a tightness around his neck. Astra's hand had already gripped his neck, lifting his body into the air. Only then did Norn notice that Astra's eyes were filled with murderous intent, as if she had become a completely different person.

"Ah... Astra, you... you've been controlled! I'm Norn... Norn!!"

With his body hanging in mid-air, Norn struggled to speak, trying to awaken Astra's consciousness, but all his efforts were in vain. Astra's grip tightened, and Norn felt he could no longer breathe. Of course, for Kryptonians, breathing was no longer important under the influence of the yellow sun, but if this continued, his neck would probably be snapped, and that would be...

puff! !

Instinctively, he reached for his waist with his only remaining hand, then touched something, grabbed it, and stabbed it at Astra without a second thought.

One shot, and it's deadly!!

Astra's crazed expression suddenly froze. She looked down at the Kryptonian dagger deeply embedded in her chest, and her grip on Norn loosened.

Norn fell to the ground, then got up again. When he saw Astra with a dagger stuck in her chest, a look of disbelief and fear flashed in his eyes. Immediately afterward, a great grief overwhelmed him.

“Ah… Astra…”

puff! !

In the instant his mind was shaken, Astra's killing intent did not diminish. Ignoring the fact that she had been stabbed in the heart, she pulled out the dagger from her chest and stabbed Norn in the chest with lightning speed.

"Uh……"

They both fell to the ground at the same time.

brush! !

At that moment, two figures crashed through the outer wall of Rozburg and rushed in. As soon as they entered, they saw two Kryptonians lying on the ground clutching their chests, and a Kryptonian dagger stuck in Norn's chest.

What's happening here?
Both Kara and Ron Rontz were somewhat confused.

"Astra!!"

Upon seeing Astra's condition, Kara's expression changed drastically. She rushed forward and helped Astra up from the ground.

"Ka...Kara..." Astra's mind seemed to clear again. Seeing Kara clearly, he struggled to raise his hand, as if wanting to touch Kara's face. "You..."

"Aunt Astra, I..."

At that moment, Kara suddenly noticed a faint red glint in Astra's eyes. She subconsciously focused her gaze, and the next instant, her mind went blank, her eyes became glazed, and a dark red mark appeared under her eyes.

This is—a wedge!

Wedge, start!
