Mystery: When the Fool Meets the Masked Fool

Chapter 592 Exploration, Understanding, Establishment, Connection

Chapter 592 Exploration, Understanding, Establishment, Connection

After listening to Serres's account, Klein fell silent for a moment.

Reason told him that this plan was quite risky.

Calling it an adventure is an understatement; whether it succeeds or not depends entirely on other people's moods.

Klein's eyes turned completely black, deep and devoid of any luster, with a faint grayish-white mist swirling around him.

After pondering for a long time, Klein sighed.

"Were you saying those things to me, or to someone 'outside the story'?"

“I don’t know,” Serres grinned.

Klein smiled and shook his head, but his eyes remained completely black.

"Aren't you afraid that saying this so openly will provoke a rebellious reaction from the author?"

He raised his own questions.

“Of course not,” Serres replied.

“Since I can say that, it means that [the author] thinks the same way,” Serres replied matter-of-factly. “At least [the author] has this idea. What we are doing now is to solidify [the author's] understanding of this.”

"[The author] is an idiot, you should learn to take advantage of him."

"Ha." Klein chuckled, finding it quite amusing.

"So, why exactly do you do all this?" Klein looked at Serris with his dark eyes and asked seriously, "Please don't answer with reasons like 'it's fun,' 'it's interesting,' or 'it's entertaining.'"

"I want to know your true thoughts."

“My true thoughts?” Serres repeated the word.

He thought for a moment and chuckled twice.

"Yeah, I'm clearly a [Masked Fool], but now I'm doing the work of [The Nameless]. It's like I'm some kind of champion of justice."

"But what can we do when our boss is the second-in-command of [The Nameless One]?"

"The second-in-command?" Klein asked with a smile.

"Well, the worst and the worst nameless guests, even if they're the last two, they can still be considered the top two." Serres defended his boss.

Although this doesn't seem like a proper name at all.

“Happiness is meaningless when it comes to oneself,” Serres said.

He was standing on an illusory ground, but it felt as if he were standing on something with a physical form.

He kicked the ground beneath his feet, and a cloud of dust actually rose up.

“I am [The Masked Fool], and I am also [The Nameless One]. These two are not actually contradictory.”

"Explore, understand, build, connect."

"I have done everything I could."

"【Exploration】is about being with those who help themselves, and with all living beings. And on the journey, laughter and joy are indispensable. 【Joy】will always accompany 【Exploration】, experiencing the scenery of the journey and bringing happiness to others. Bringing happiness to every world and sharing it with everyone."

"Whatever this so-called 'laughter' may be—whether it's mockery, happiness, bittersweet laughter, or joy—whether it's handing out candy, giving away balloons, or setting off fireworks, the god of laughter will always be with us, with you."

Serres took one step, then two, leaving behind a trail of footprints.

Then suddenly turn around.

"Didn't I tell you this already?" Serris produced several diaries in his hand, a smile on his face. "We're the best people in the galaxy."

He released his grip, and the diaries, filled with truthful or falsehoods, floated and scattered in the wind that suddenly appeared.

"Stop paying attention to me, go prepare for your final tarot session." Serres shook his head.

“What I mean is, the last tarot session that can be ‘seen’.”

After saying that, he took a big step forward, his body quickly became transparent, and finally disappeared.

Watching Serres leave, Klein looked up again at the pages of the book fluttering in the sky.

"Haha." He chuckled softly.

He turned around and entered the spirit world.

Then I saw one colorful bubble after another, nested inside another, layer upon layer.

Inside each bubble is a different scene, depicting different people from different angles and directions.

Just as he guessed, the foundation of this dream world was the spirit world.

Because he is the source of the [Anti-Despair Equation], the ruler of the spirit world.

The spirit world happens to be the place where all information converges and gathers.

Looking at the bubbles, Klein stretched out his left hand and spread his five fingers.

Klein, who frequented Pinocchio, certainly knew what this was.

This is a "dream bubble".

In this spiritual realm encompassing up, down, left, right, inside, outside, front, and back, Klein can simultaneously point his palms in every direction and at every "dream bubble."

Then, he closed his five fingers together.

There was no sound; all the bubbles burst in that instant.

Each bubble emitted colorful light, quickly filling the spirit world and reflecting into reality.

One by one, people silently left the dream and returned to reality.

But they are not even aware that they have left the "dream" and are still doing the things they were doing in the dream.

Just like they were completely unaware that they had been pulled into a dream.

At this moment, Klein was promoted once again.

He completed the ritual of becoming a "doctor of advice".

Klein's figure swiftly swam upwards, passing through the seven beams of pure light high above the spirit realm. During this process, his figure grew fainter and fainter until he disappeared completely.

He returned to the "Source Castle," sat down in the high-backed chair, and let the gray-white mist cover his body.

After looking around and confirming the condition of each deep red star, Klein leaned back in his chair and slightly raised his right hand.

As he expected, this time he did not find the crimson star that symbolized "the devil," nor did he find Serres the Bruce.

"Ha, so they got away after all," Klein laughed.

On both sides of the mottled long table, beams of deep red light rose simultaneously, freezing into images of Tarot Club members.

Seemingly writing, still in the pen-holding posture, "Magician" Fowles; the composed "Priestess" Alicia in pink; "Queen" Roselle, who quickly adjusted her posture upon appearing and propped her head up with one hand; "Emperor" Star, looking around; "Lover" Amon, pushing up his monocle; "Hermit" Cattleya, who seemed to have just been reading; "Wheel of Fortune" Padmon, yawning; "Justice" Audrey, wearing a gorgeous long dress; "The Hanged Man" Alger, wiping his captain's hat; "Temperance" Sharon, expressionless; "The Tower" Otto, with a thoughtful look; "Star" Leonard, immediately looking at the far end of the long table; "Moon" Emlyn, looking bewildered; "Sun" Derrick, sitting upright and looking at the Fool; and "Judgment" Hugh, who is only 1.5 meters tall and wearing riding clothes without having had time to change into platform shoes.

This time, he did not create the dummy "the world".

Klein looked at the Tarot Club members sitting at the long table in front of him with a deep gaze and smiled.
