Chapter 565 Antimatter Legion

A thick, grayish-white mist had somehow filled the area, suggesting that a lot had happened in those few seconds that were deleted.

On this battlefield shrouded in chaos and fog, one Klein after another emerged calmly from the swirling mists of history. They varied in appearance, some wearing classical robes, others black trench coats, and still others monocles, but their movements were remarkably synchronized.

They raised their white-gloved hands, gracefully and calmly touching the brims of their iconic top hats, as if this were not a life-or-death struggle, but rather the opening act of a grand drama. Their figures appeared and disappeared in the gray mist, like countless silhouettes of history descending simultaneously, carrying an air of mystery.

The legion was thrown into disarray. Some phantom soldiers were pierced by golden spears, some were lifted off the ground and hoisted high into the air, some were inexplicably wearing black, round-topped silk hats, and some had a door opened in their chests, their antimatter cores, the source of their power, shattered.

"If the hand of the 'Great Lord of Annihilation' is still in the arena, I might need to be a little more cautious..." Klein's main body quickly analyzed among his many clones.

That pale hand, imbued with the power of destruction and harmony, has been temporarily isolated from the outside by the "seal" formed by the spacetime labyrinth and the projection of the Source Castle.

As long as this barrier remains unbroken, the legion before him, now deprived of the direct blessing of the supreme will, is no longer a threat in the eyes of Klein, who now possesses nearly half the authority of the "Lord of Mysteries," despite its large numbers and exquisite coordination.

But now that hand is isolated by the projections of the Time-Space Maze and the Source Castle, Klein doesn't care much about these legions anymore.

However, to avoid any unforeseen complications, Klein decided to eliminate the legion as soon as possible to prevent that hand from breaking through the labyrinth and the projection's blockade.

His instincts, stemming from his "three families," told him not to delay.

After all, no one knows how long the authority of the gate can seal a messenger.

He now wields three powers simultaneously, which naturally translates to three instances of "selfishness."

Just as Klein was about to make his move, a centaur-shaped stomper behind him raised its two front legs and stomped heavily down on him.

This is the product of the Antimatter Legion using the "War Forge" to fuse and recast fragments of warriors and ancient beasts.

Although relatively rare, they combine the intelligence of warriors with the strength and mobility of ancient beasts.

The forehooves, wreathed in destructive purple flames, stomped towards Klein.

Klein casually raised his right hand and collided with it.

Although he didn't think he was weaker than a mere centaur, he still transferred the strength of his dozens of clones to himself.

Space twisted eerily, and the giant hoof that was about to land vanished instantly, replaced by a colossal claw that blotted out the sky, covered in dark scales and entwined with the wailing of vengeful spirits!

boom.

Klein was slammed into the ground by a giant claw.

The earth trembled violently, and the giant claw slammed Klein and the surrounding space deep into the ground. But this was merely the physical impact. Even more terrifying was the raging tide of resentment coiling around the giant claw, driven by the "Ten Thousand Bones' Lament" engine, the core of the Doomsday Beast.

The trampling creature had somehow swapped places with a huge, Western-dragon-like doomsday beast.

This is one of the "Doomsday Beasts," forged using fragments of the Twilight Beast as a base and the "Wrath of a Thousand Bones" thrown into the "Forge of War" as a catalyst. The vengeful spirits' obsession manifested as a tangible hand, firmly holding Klein down.

This gave Klein a bad feeling.

Countless beings, unable to attain liberation or death, carrying intense emotions like materialized, filthy spiritual tentacles, instantly invaded Klein's spirit. Some were angry, some were sorrowful, and some were deluded with joy.

These chaotic, negatively charged mental shocks boiled and exploded violently deep within his consciousness! A myriad of illusions and evils danced wildly, attempting to pollute his soul, distort his perception, and drag him into an eternal abyss of madness.

Let him drift towards annihilation, both spiritual and material.

The core of the Doomsday Beast is a dark matter-driven engine, which had just been pierced and restrained by Klein using a spear from the "Oath of Judah." However, at some point, the golden spear was pulled out.

A chilling sound of space shattering came from above.

The spacetime labyrinth, constructed from the authority of the "Gate" and isolated from the grasp of the Great Lord of Annihilation, is now shattering under the impact of an irresistible will to destroy.

Dark cracks spread, and the labyrinth structure rapidly collapsed and vanished.

Although the hand did not actually penetrate the arena, its very existence seemed to reinforce the entire legion. The destructive aura emanating from its very presence was like a powerful amplifier, piercing through the collapsing barrier and injecting a powerful "connection" into the entire antimatter legion.

Klein's previously imposed decree, which forcibly distorted reality and weakened "Harmony" and strengthened "Pleasure," was still in effect, but it seemed powerless under the interference of this messenger. The Legion's coordination recovered at a visible speed and even surpassed its previous level, and the torrent of destruction gathered once again!

Klein immediately tried to escape the predicament by "flash". However, the "reality" around him was silently altered.

This is similar to the ability to directly modify real-world data, like "EtherEdit".

Several "tamperers" floating in mid-air joined forces to weave a data stream, forcibly anchoring and solidifying his spatial coordinates, and even distorting the logic of the "teleportation" concept itself in this place.

They are humanoid pawns floating in mid-air, pawns who have successfully withstood the annihilation effect. Positive and negative particles have achieved a brief balance within them in a bizarre form, giving them a more special power than the Marauders: the ability to tamper with, reassemble, and edit the data of reality.

Their use of "ether editing" far surpassed Klein's rudimentary level; it was systematic and precise, like the most skilled programmer locking down the program's execution path.

Most importantly, they have systematically learned this skill, unlike Klein, who is only a half-baked practitioner and has no real control over the ability to edit reality.

Therefore, Klein chose to commit suicide.

He pulled from the mists of history the sword that Larion, the "Honorable One," had swung at him. It was a fatal blow, a strike from Larion, burning with life and honor, imbued with the true meaning of "twilight," "decline," and "end"!
In an instant, the magnificent twilight sword shadow reappeared under the claws of the Doomsday Beast. Klein's body, like a fragile piece of paper, was effortlessly cleaved in two by the vivid concept of death contained within this historical projection. Both sides of his body rapidly aged, oozed pus, rotted, and died.

The aura of twilight, decay, and death spread from the claws of the Doomsday Beast, cleaving Klein in two as it killed him, also affecting a large number of the surrounding alterers.

Amidst the billowing gray fog, Klein returns from history.
