Mystery: When the Fool Meets the Masked Fool

Chapter 525 Genie: You're in too?

The Holy Grail rapidly shrank and converged in Serres's hand.

Although Sereth's strength may not be as great as it used to be, the Masked Fool has never relied on physical prowess.

They relied on all sorts of strange and unusual abilities and tools.

For example, what Cyrus is holding now looks like a wine glass.

[Is this the Holy Grail? Indeed, that seems to be the definition people use to describe him.]

In many mythologies, the Holy Grail is described as a cup containing the flesh and blood of God, or even simply the flesh and blood of God.

However, its origins are not as mysterious as depicted in myths and legends.

Its origin lies solely in a sudden inspiration from the Star God of Joy one day.

He crafted an urn for himself and imbued it with unparalleled power of desire.

[I hope that after my death someone will make a wish that "the god of pleasure will never be resurrected."]

Perhaps this god of joy is also looking forward to his own death.

Because no matter what kind of fun things happen in the world, people will always say:

"The God of Fun has already done that..."

[Although this is indeed quite fun]

But when a joke is repeated countless times and will continue to be repeated in the future, then it loses its fun.

If, as some genius has said, fate has imprisoned the universe.

Perhaps one day, Ahab will follow in the footsteps of his old flame Aquivilli, experiencing a "death" he has never known before.

The farewell of the universe's greatest clown is, in itself, a source of amusement. Perhaps he'll only lament that Akivilli beat him to it.

At this moment, Aha was not placed in his own "urn," but instead, the best clown in another universe was placed there. Aha's "first time" was once again taken by others.

Oh, Ah, that's really embarrassing.

"Thank you for your explanation." Serres casually swatted away the husky that had formed from the mist in front of him. "You're useless now."

Serres seemed to hear an angry shout in his ear, yelling "Rude!"

He was certainly rude.

Serres adjusted the hat on his head.

He's wearing a deerstalker hat today.

The impolite Serres picked up the Holy Grail, brought it to his ear, and shook it.

"Hello, hello, can you hear me?" Serres asked into the Holy Grail.

Before the Celestial Venerable could answer, Serres placed the Holy Grail on the table, beckoned with his backhand, and the Genie immediately left the pile of clutter and came into Serres's hand.

"I held Him back for you, giving you the opportunity to infiltrate the Source Castle without anyone noticing!" The genie's voice came from the wishing lamp. "You should keep your promise."

Serres smiled and tapped the wishing lamp, but no golden figure appeared from it.

"Not bad, you're really good at playing a fool."

"Say what you will," the genie scoffed, unfazed by the mockery. "I'm free to leave within ten years; that's the contract." "Since when has the Fool of the Tavern needed to follow rules?"

Serres asked in a teasing tone.

"What do you mean by this?" the genie asked in a low voice.

"Heh, it's nothing. I just think you're kind of adorably silly." Serres knocked on the wishing lamp again, but the genie still wouldn't come out.

"Don't worry, I have an [Aha] level of credibility, and I will never break my word."

“You’d better be,” the genie replied in a muffled voice.

"Oh dear, that's really hurtful of you to say that," Serres said, feigning distress.

“Alright then, I’ll give you a little compensation first,” Serres said.

As he spoke, he tore open the barrier of the spirit world and reached his hand into the empty space.

Then, when he pulled his hand out, he had a hammer in his hand.

"What are you going to do?" the genie asked.

"Can't you tell? I'm giving you a treat." Serres laughed and tapped his head with the hammer.

Serres smashed open the lid of the genie's pot with a hammer, reached inside, and rummaged around.

"Ah! Ah! What are you doing! Meow!"

“What are you yelling about…” Serres pulled a condensed ball of light from the pot, “If you yell again, I’ll plug the spout.”

Soon, Serres drew out the extraordinary properties of the "Miracle Master".

"Are you going to set me free right now?" Without the suppression of the "Miracleist" trait, the Genie's tone suddenly became lively.

"What are you thinking about?" Serres turned the Holy Grail upside down again, flipping it over and over.

A series of clanging and clattering sounds followed.

A whole host of extraordinary properties were poured out of the Holy Grail.

"How many extraordinary abilities did you use?" The genie had never seen anything like this before. "Are you trying to merge with the primordial creator within the Holy Grail?"

“An all-powerful wish-granting machine must be all-powerful,” Serres said as he emptied the Holy Grail.

"Hmm...we'll have to redo it."

As he spoke, the Holy Grail transformed in Serres's hand, turning into a ball of light, which Serres then incorporated into the "Wishing Lamp".

"What are you going to do..." the genie said uncertainly.

"What do you think?" Serres retorted. "Having been locked up for so long, don't you feel any resentment?"

"Of course not..." The genie paused.

"Oh~" He exclaimed in sudden realization.

"Enjoy it." Serres, carrying the wishing lamp, left the now restored Source Castle and departed from the Spirit Realm.
