Mystery: When the Fool Meets the Masked Fool

Chapter 434 Self-Awarding of Medals

Chapter 434 Self-Awarding of Medals
Silver City, the land forsaken by the gods, the Round Tower, a certain hall.

Colin Iliad, the chief of Silver City, dragged a monster's corpse into the hall.

A complex ceremony had already been arranged in the hall.

Colin walked to the center of the ceremony and placed the powerful Sequence 4 monster he had just hunted in the correct position.

The third Silver Knight of the God of War pathway needs to set up a complex altar, place the remains of the six powerful creatures he has hunted in the correct positions, and receive a blessing from at least the angelic rank.

At this point, six sets of monster remains that met the requirements had already been placed in the ceremony.

One of them is a Sequence 3 Silver Knight, who is the source of Colin's potion recipe.

The remaining items include a Sequence 4 Black Knight smashed into mincemeat, a demon of unknown sequence number, the skull of the former chief ferryman, a Time Worm that "voluntarily sacrificed itself," and the half-dead corpse of a demon wolf that Colin had just dragged over.

With everything prepared, Colin Iliad began mixing the potion.

Once all these matters were completed, the chief of Silver City calmly picked up the cup, which was larger than a bucket, with his left hand, closed his eyes briefly, and spoke in a very soft tone.

"Greetings, King Amber."

Then, he raised his amber right hand, which began to shimmer and emanated a power no less than that of the King of Angels.

Amber light filled the eyes, covered the entire body, and transformed into a suit of armor.

No angel's blessing is needed, Colin Iliad, he crowns himself.

The angels have no right to award him a medal.

Throughout these actions, Colin maintained a calm expression, as if everything was perfectly normal.

The ceremony then began. He raised his left hand, tilted his head back, and poured the bottle of "Silver Knight" potion into his mouth.

Without a sound, his body seemed to swell slightly, and his skin was silently tinged with a blue hue.

I feel that every inch of myself contains indescribable...
The mystery and power of the skin caused mystical symbols to appear on its surface, radiating a strange spiritual influence.

A dark slit appeared between Colin Iliad's eyebrows, and his head, which was shrouded in his helmet, seemed to have rickets, its entire body concave inward. With that dark slit as its core, it slowly began to writhe, as if it were forming a nebula vortex.

This caused him some pain, which was particularly noticeable on his forehead, as if someone had scraped it with a knife.

But in the next second, Colin raised his right hand and then pressed it down sharply.

All the abnormalities disappeared and subsided.

The pain disappeared, the skin returned to normal, and the crease on the forehead closed. Only the figure appeared slightly taller and more robust than before.

Colin moved his head and looked at his right hand, which had just unconsciously pressed down.

Ok……

He seems to actually not need any so-called rituals.

The contamination inherent in the potion was only met with elbows after entering his body.

At this moment, the remains of the six powerful creatures in different locations of the ritual...

Drawn by an unseen force, it floated up, circling around the mutating Colin Iliad. Through some mysterious connection, images appeared in Colin's mind, seemingly intended to awaken parts of the top demon hunter's memories, allowing him to maintain his sense of self amidst pain and mutation. "It seems unnecessary." He lifted his leg, stepping over the intricate ritual drawn on the ground. His amber armor faded like flowing water, returning to his right hand.

This newly promoted Silver Knight advanced to Sequence Three without using any ritual.

As he left the room, Colin smiled and nodded to the Sequence Five guards standing outside.

The guard gently touched his left chest with his right hand and bowed in return.

"Has anyone arrived?" Colin asked.

It's 11 PM now, and tomorrow they'll be exploring the Giants' Court. Colin is asking if any members of the Tarot Society have arrived early to watch their exploration of the Giants' Court.

"Not yet." The guard shook his head. "This is a photograph that Mr. Serres sent to us by Derrick. It's of a middle-aged man with a mustache. It's in the VIP room right now."

“Photographs?” Colin glanced at the wall clock. “Did Mr. Devil say anything else?”

"He said that once the photo arrives, that person can come directly tomorrow."

Colin thought for a moment, but he wasn't sure which extraordinary path possessed a similar ability. However, this was normal; the extraordinary world was full of all sorts of strange abilities, so it wouldn't be surprising to find any particular ability.

"Alright, then you guys should get some rest too." With that, Colin waved his hand and pressed the elevator button.

…………

The next morning, Backlund, at the "World's End" tavern.

The tavern is closed in the morning, so there are no customers inside. At one of the tables, Serres, Alicia, Sharon, Marich, Mimi, Xing, and Amon are having breakfast together.

Serres nudged Amon beside him: "So? The big operation in the Forsaken Lands, you really don't want to consider going?"

Amon picked up a boiled egg and easily stole what was inside: "Are you really not afraid that I'll be captured and eaten by Amon's true form?"

After saying that, he stuffed the shelled egg into his mouth and bit down, but ended up with a mouthful of eggshells.

The egg in his hand had somehow become a brand new, unpeeled egg.

Amon's movements froze for a moment, then he chewed the egg mixed with shell without making a sound, and swallowed it as if nothing was wrong.

Serres casually tossed the peeled egg from Amon into his mouth: "There are at least two gods and a half-angel here, what are you so afraid of?"

Sharon and Marich remained silent.

"One and a half? Who is the half angel?" Xing scratched his head, then suddenly put his hands on his hips triumphantly, "So it was me."

“That’s right, I am an angel among devils.” She was very proud.

"Forget it. If I don't appear in front of Him, He might not notice me, but if He really sets his sights on me, that's not a good thing." Amon replied with a smile, while tricking the egg in Serres's hand into thinking it was a rotten egg.

"Can you stop being so childish?" Serres reset the egg's state.

"What are you talking about?" Amon pretended not to understand.
