Mystery: When the Fool Meets the Masked Fool

Chapter 356 The True Heart : God Loves the World

Chapter 356 Truth or Dare (Part 1): God Loves the World
Disclaimer: The order of the Truth or Dare games in this chapter is completely random. (Don't blame me just because I was the first to draw your favorite character; it really is random.)

"It seems like it might not be a problem." Klein finally breathed a sigh of relief as he grasped the orb of light that could shield the hall.

That's terrifying. If he accidentally reveals his identity as the Fool, he'll definitely lose control and turn into a pile of cat-like insects.

"Anyone want to play?" Serres had somehow taken the pistol back from Klein's hand and held it high. "How about it? It's super fun. A hero can't run away from battle!"

silence.

Apart from Xing, who was waving wildly, everyone looked at Serres, but no one said a word.

“What are you doing?” Serres said, holding up his pistol. “You’re making me really embarrassed.”

"Really nobody wants to play? It's so much fun!"

“Um,” Audrey said when no one spoke, “Mr. Devil, I think not many people would be willing to reveal their deepest secrets to others…”

Serres held up one finger:
"A Level 1 Sealed Item."

"I want to play!" Klein, Emlyn, Leonard, and Fowles raised their hands almost simultaneously.

“See, that’s what you call professional.” Serres spread his hands, looking at Audrey. “It’s just a tiny bit of privacy, completely insignificant in the face of a Level 1 sealed artifact.”

“Hmm…” Audrey blinked.

“So no one objects, right?” Serres clapped his hands.

"If the event doesn't give rewards, I'll get criticized on the forum, okay?" Xing tapped on the pillar next to her, trying to see if she could pry something off.

“Actually, I’d prefer someone to put a ‘No Slow Paradise’ sign on my account.” Serres chuckled and shrugged. “Of course, it’s best if it’s not something extreme or bizarre.”

“You’ve been automatically categorized into the human-beast zone by the system,” Xing said, fiddling with her phone. “It seems the system isn’t treating you like a human.”

“Is that so? That’s bad.” Serres held up the red pistol. “Okay, let’s go over the rules of the game now.”

"First of all, this is a handgun that can't kill people. We don't need to worry about getting blown off our heads by this handgun, although that sounds interesting."

"What's so interesting about this?" Emlyn thought to himself.

Emlyn held the ball of light, his face filled with astonishment.

Didn't they say you could block out your inner thoughts?

"It won't block anything if it's just venting," Serres snapped his fingers. "So if you don't want to get socially frustrated, you'd better control your thoughts."

"Okay, let's continue explaining the rules."

"This is a six-shot revolver. Each person fires one shot. If it doesn't fire, the next person takes their turn. If it fires, the person who fires must tell the truth. Choosing not to answer is considered elimination."

"Ranked from back to front according to the order of wearing the headgear, the last one will receive a Level 1 sealed item from me, while the second and third will receive Level 2 sealed items."

"It's very simple."

"What about a grand adventure?" Alicia asked.

“Truth only, no dares. After all, dares are meant to be used to avoid telling the truth, so they're not fun,” Serres replied.

“Okay.” Alicia looked a little disappointed.

[Even if we're not sisters, don't think I don't know what you're thinking, okay?]

"Hmm, but that wouldn't be complete. Let the last place player take on a dare then." Serres thought for a moment and decided that there should be a penalty mechanism.

"So, who will be responsible for asking the questions?" Fowles asked.

“Next in line,” Serres replied.

"Is there anything else wrong? Then let's follow the order of the Tarot cards." Serres opened the magazine, loaded a golden bullet, and handed the pistol to Fowles. "What about me? How do I get my reading?" Leonard asked.

“Oh, right, I almost forgot about you,” Serres said. “Why don’t you go find your old flame and draw a card?”

"Who is his old flame!" The two voices rang out simultaneously.

"What perfect teamwork!" Magician Fowles activated his skill, seeing everything as gay.

"You'll get choked to death by the fans of the original work if you keep randomly pairing characters together like this." Xing nudged Serres.

"Where did I pair up anyone? I ship Ke Jing." Serres didn't care at all.

"A star." Leonard drew a star card.

Then, everyone looked at Fowles.

"Me...am I the first one?" Fowles hesitated for a moment, pointing the gun at his palm.

"You have to point it at the head; only then will it feel ritualistic," Serres advised.

"Uh, does it have to be the head?" Fors reluctantly moved his head onto the head.

After hesitating for a few seconds, she pulled the trigger.

Click.

The gun didn't fire.

Fowles breathed a heavy sigh of relief.

Immediately afterwards, she became happy and handed the pistol to Alicia.

Alicia smiled and took the pistol, pressed it against her face, and pulled the trigger without hesitation.

Snapped!
Pink ribbons shot out from the gun barrel, instantly soaking Alicia's head.

"Wow, looks like a great start."

"Next up, it's the lovely Empress's turn to ask a question." Alicia smiled happily and looked at Xing.

Xing thought for a moment and asked the most classic question from Truth or Dare: "What type of person do you like?"

"Hmm, I can answer that." Alicia released the ball of light from her hand, and her voice immediately echoed throughout the hall.

"Let me think, the answer should be 'cute,' but what exactly constitutes cuteness?"

"If I had to give an answer, it would be a really difficult question. After all, everyone has their strengths, and everyone is so lovable."

"So, I love everyone in this world."

This hall will bring to light the most essential and innermost thoughts in people's hearts, almost in perfect sync, leaving no time for hypnosis or self-deception, and Serres clearly will not allow such "deception" to occur.

In other words, what Alicia said is absolutely true.

It gives the natives of another world a small, pure and beautiful shock.

Almost simultaneously, the other members of the Tarot Club all came up with the same word and appeared in the hall at the same time.

“For God so loved the world…”

"Oh dear, I feel embarrassed when you say that, but it's okay to praise it out loud." Alicia put her hands on her hips, showing no sign of embarrassment.

“Then next up is Miss Emperor.” She gripped the ball of light again and placed the pistol in Xing’s hand.
