Chapter 517 If you want to fight, go to the dance studio.
As soon as Bob opened the restaurant door, he noticed a large shadow in the distance flying rapidly toward them.

Isabella immediately went to the door and took a look. Her eyesight was much better than Bob's, and she could see that the shadows were actually made up of countless tiny insects.

"Oh no! The Plague Knight is here! Quickly, seal the doors and windows!"

Although no one knew what was going on, hearing Isabella's anxious attitude, they quickly followed her instructions and blocked the doors and windows.

Actually, the windows were fine until Isabella broke in.

This window is the only troublesome one; it has to be nailed up with wooden boards.

Fortunately, the swarms of tiny insects didn't go directly into the restaurant; instead, they surrounded it.

Seeing this, Isabella instantly understood what the Plague Knight wanted to do.

"They want to trap us here and kill us!"

Jeep nervously hugged his girlfriend Claire. What was happening was completely beyond his comprehension, leaving him at a loss for what to do.

Isabella closed her eyes.

"Now, we can only wait for the Four Horsemen of Weather to make their move, and then we'll react accordingly! Listen, everyone, grab your weapons and get ready for battle! I might not be able to look after you all later!"

Upon hearing this, Bob immediately went to rummage through the weapons case and distributed weapons to everyone. Even Claire received a .357 small revolver for self-defense.

After the insects appeared, the area outside the restaurant was quiet for a while as everyone nervously observed the situation outside.

Suddenly, the black chef Kyle felt a chill run down his spine.

"Where does the wind come from?"

As soon as he finished speaking, the electric fan above his head suddenly fell down, and then the fan's power cord inexplicably strangled Kyle's neck, making it hard for him to breathe.

"Kyle!"

Boss Bob and Jeep rushed over to help, but the wire around Kyle's neck was getting tighter and tighter, which terrified Howard and Sandra.

Claire suddenly realized something and immediately headed towards the kitchen, but Isabella stopped her.

"What are you going to do?"

"I'll go to the kitchen and get a cleaver to help Kyle cut the rope!"

"You can't leave my sight! And Kyle's current situation can't be solved with a kitchen knife!"

"why?"

"Because this is the power of the Death Knight!"

With that, Isabella instantly drew her whip, which was as sharp as a longsword in her hand, and easily cut the wires binding Kyle.

Kyle breathed heavily, still shaken, and kept cursing in Black slang.

Isabella looked at the others seriously.

"This is just the beginning! We must remain vigilant; danger lurks everywhere!"

Once she calmed down, Claire began to analyze the situation.

"The War Knight, Plague Knight, and Death Knight of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse have already appeared, so will the next one be the Famine Knight?"

No sooner had they finished speaking than they heard the sound of a large number of cars driving outside the restaurant. A long convoy suddenly appeared on the road, passing through the barrier made of insects and stopping in front of the restaurant.

"Where did all these people come from?"

Bob found it very strange; even before the apocalypse, it was rare to see such a long convoy, let alone now that it was the end of the world.

The sharp-eyed Sandra quickly noticed something was wrong.

"Look! The people on the bus are acting strangely!"

Everyone immediately widened their eyes and observed carefully. Sure enough, they found that the person in the car was skin and bones, and there was a faint orange light flowing around his body.

"It's the Calamity Warrior of the Famine Knights, prepare for battle!"

The Calamity Warriors, carrying various weapons, got out of the vehicle and walked step by step toward the restaurant.

When the Calamity Warrior was less than 20 meters from the restaurant, Isabella decisively gave the order.

"Fire!"

Isabella herself took out an Uzi submachine gun and started firing. She still couldn't forget the feeling of firing a gun, even though her marksmanship was as bad as ever.

However, with so many Calamity Warriors outside the restaurant, you don't even need to aim to hit them.

Unless it's a conceptually advanced, almost nonsensical, shooting technique, it's possible to miss in this situation.

Unfortunately, this concentrated attack by the group failed to cause many casualties.

These Calamity Warriors are incredibly resilient; even if their heads and limbs are knocked off, they can continue fighting. The only way to defeat them is to shatter the hunger core within their chests.

However, while the Calamity Warriors appear emaciated and very fragile, their chests are incredibly hard, requiring large-caliber weapons to penetrate their tough ribs.

After a few minutes of playing, Howard started to get anxious.

"Aren't you an angel? Think of something!"

Isabella frowned as she looked at Howard.

"This is just the appetizer. If I make my move now, what will you do when the real crisis arrives? You must learn to solve problems on your own!"

Upon hearing this, Jeep gritted his teeth.

“Ms. Isabella is right! Kyle, go get some gasoline, we’ll make some Molotov cocktails to deal with those guys!”

"Molotov cocktails? That's a great idea!"

The Black chef, Kyle, immediately ran to the basement and brought back a can of gasoline. He then used beverage bottles from the shop to dispense the gasoline, stuffed torn rags into the bottles, and quickly made a simple Molotov cocktail.

"Wait until they're within ten meters before throwing them, understand?"

Isabella, also holding a Molotov cocktail, stood at the reopened restaurant entrance.

"I'll count to 1, 2, 3, 1, 2, 3, throw!"

Everyone threw out their Molotov cocktails, but Sandra seemed to be too nervous and dropped hers.

Fortunately, Isabella reacted quickly and kicked the Molotov cocktail away, otherwise the restaurant would have been set on fire.

"You idiot! You almost killed us all!"

Kyle couldn't help but curse at Sandra, which displeased Sandra's boyfriend, Howard.

"What do you want, Niko? Sandra didn't do it on purpose!"

The word "nigger" is a taboo word for Black people. When Kyle heard the word, his eyes widened like saucers, just like a bull seeing a red cloth being shaken.

"Say that word again if you dare!"

Seeing that the two were about to fight, Jeep quickly stepped in to stop them.

"You guys are still arguing at a time like this? Don't you want to die?"

It took a lot of persuasion to finally get Kyle and Howard to shut up.

Isabella, however, had no time to pay attention to their argument; she was observing the effects of the Molotov cocktail.

As it turned out, Jeep's flash of inspiration was quite effective. The Molotov cocktail successfully eliminated a large number of the resilient Calamity Warriors, and the remaining Calamity Warriors did not dare to attack again under the threat of the Molotov cocktail.

"We should make more Molotov cocktails!"

At Isabella's suggestion, everyone got busy again.

Finally, after using up the entire barrel of gasoline, they managed to make fifty or sixty Molotov cocktails, enough to fill all the tables in the restaurant.

While everyone else was busy, Claire, being pregnant, didn't participate and instead took charge of observing the situation outside.

"They don't seem to be attacking anymore?" The remaining Calamity Warriors were all standing on the road. Even though the Molotov cocktails they had thrown earlier had been extinguished, they did not launch another attack, as if they were waiting for something.

"We are safe for now, but only temporarily."

Isabella understood that although the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse had discovered the location of the Holy Son, it would still take some time for them to gather their strength.

The Plague Knight's swarm of insects and the Famine Knight's scourge warriors were mostly just probing attacks.

This is why Isabella doesn't want to reveal her power too early. As long as the Four Horsemen don't know she's in the restaurant, she has a chance to outmaneuver them.

Well, although this isn't exactly how Heaven operates, it's Isabella's only two options at the moment.

The only remaining option might be to call someone, but that would trigger a series of reactions, so she definitely wouldn't call someone unless absolutely necessary.

"Let's all take a break. There might be even tougher battles ahead! We have no choice but to keep holding on!"

Howard hesitated for a moment, but couldn't help asking Isabella.

"Madam, how long are we supposed to keep watch?"

Isabella looked at Claire's stomach.

"We must at least wait until the birth of the Holy Son!"

This rest lasted until after dark.

At this point, due to insufficient light, it was difficult for people inside the restaurant to observe the situation outside. They could only vaguely see some orange flashes to confirm that the Calamity Warriors were still standing on the road.

After eating dinner prepared by the Black chef Kyle, everyone's tense nerves relaxed a little.

Kyle's cooking skills are quite good; he's able to make the most of limited ingredients to create delicious meals.

Isabella ate everything and kept looking out the window; now only her eyes could see what was in the darkness.

"coming!"

Upon hearing this, the others immediately tensed up.

Bob stood up and asked directly.

"What's coming?"

"The second wave of the Four Horsemen's attack! I see countless zombies and undead. Prepare for battle!"

Countless zombies and undead attacked the restaurant, and the few guns inside were simply not enough to fight them off.

Left with no other choice, everyone used up all the Molotov cocktails they had painstakingly made that afternoon, which finally managed to stop the attack from the zombies and undead.

But it wasn't over yet. Suddenly, a burly man in metallic clothes fell from the sky and crashed through the restaurant's ceiling.

Clearly, this is yet another puppet of the War Knights.

The war puppet fixed its gaze on Claire and launched a swift charge, completely ignoring the others.

"Back off! Back off! You are no match for it!"

Despite Isabella's warnings, Jeep still stood in front of Claire, prepared to protect his girlfriend with his own life.

Jeep was almost run over by the war golem, but thankfully Isabella managed to grab the golem by the waist with her whip.

"You're no match for this guy, quickly take Claire inside!"

Jeep then came to his senses and ran towards the kitchen, protecting his girlfriend.

The war golem's head rotated 180 degrees to look at Isabella, its eyes revealing surprise, as if it was astonished that Isabella was able to hold it back.

"Your opponent is me! Don't even think about hurting her until you defeat me!"

As she spoke, Isabella brandished her whip and began fighting the war puppet.

The War Golem possesses terrifying strength and physique, but Isabella is no pushover either. While her physical attributes may be weaker than the War Knight's, her combat skills are superior.

Furthermore, by relying on the whip's ability to overcome strength with gentleness, they successfully suppressed the war puppets for a time.

Meanwhile, the others had already hidden in the kitchen, nervously listening to the commotion outside.

However, the back door of the kitchen, which had been sealed off, suddenly began to be smashed, and the Calamity Warriors, who had been inactive until now, finally launched a fierce attack.

Bob made a quick decision.

"To the underground ice storage!"

This restaurant has a very large basement, which also has a cold storage room for storing food.

After all, the restaurant is located in such a remote area that it takes a lot of time to buy ingredients, so buying more ingredients at once and storing them is the most worry-free way.

However, once inside the enclosed icehouse, they could no longer hear any messages from the outside world.

After the temporary safety was restored, people couldn't help but start to have all sorts of wild thoughts.

Sandra was the first to have a problem. The series of events that happened today left her physically and mentally exhausted, and she couldn't help but start sobbing.

Sandra's sobbing annoyed Kyle, and he glared at her.

"Hey! Can you please not cause trouble at a time like this?"

Howard once again stepped forward to refute Sandra.

"She's a girl, can't you be a little more tolerant?"

Kelton, who already had some friction with Howard, immediately became angry.

"Huh? A girl? Claire was pregnant and she wasn't this fragile, so why is she allowed to cry? Just because she's arrogant?"

Seeing that the two were about to start arguing again, Jeep had no choice but to step in and act as peacemaker once more.

"Stop arguing! We should unite in the face of a crisis!"

Unfortunately, without Isabella, Jeep was somewhat out of place, and Howard simply pushed Jeep away.

Kyle and Jeep had a good relationship, and upon seeing Howard's actions, Kyle could no longer control his emotions and punched him.

Howard, of course, wouldn't stand idly by, and the two immediately started fighting.

Sandra, no longer able to shed tears, stood aside and screamed in terror.

"Don't fight again!"

But simply telling them not to fight wouldn't do any good, so Bob and Jeep quickly stepped forward to try and separate the two.

The four men were tangled up, leaving the two women at a loss for what to do.

Just then, something silently entered the ice storage through the drainage pipes.

Sandra suddenly let out a scream, which stopped the two men who were wrestling.

Before everyone's eyes, Sandra was seen being enveloped by a swarm of tiny insects, screaming in agony.

"Sandra!"

Howard forgot about fighting and rushed to his girlfriend's side, but didn't know how to start.

Those tiny black worms had burrowed into Sandra's body, constantly devouring her flesh and blood, and were showing signs of attacking others.

Bob quickly stepped forward and pulled Howard away.

"Let's go! We can't stay here any longer!"

The remaining five people left the underground ice storage, only to find that the restaurant's ceiling had disappeared.
