Chapter 220 Shen Leyang's Sharp Tongue

Chaochao had already been led around by Shen Leyang's hand, and Shen Leyang secretly breathed a sigh of relief.

Then they heard a sweet voice, "Sister, don't be angry with your brother-in-law. He didn't mean to say you were stupid; it was just a slip of the tongue. Let's try again, okay? You'll definitely learn to ski soon. We won't hire an instructor; they're too expensive."

Chaochao stopped and turned her head to look at the two of them strangely.

Then they noticed that the young lady, who had calmed down earlier, now looked extremely pale.

But the person on the other end was still talking, “Sister, your husband actually wants to come over and apologize, but he just can’t bring himself to do it. How about this, I’ll pull you over, consider it giving him a way out, okay? We rarely get to go out and have fun, so we should be happy. Sister, you’ve always been kind to me since I was little, just give me some face.”

Chaochao tilted her head, curiously observing her. Seeing the girl's expression growing increasingly unpleasant, she could even hear her crunch the candy in her mouth. The girl seemed even angrier.

After thinking for a moment, she withdrew her hand, leaving Shen Leyang with a helpless expression.

Chaochao took the girl's hand and asked, "Is she your sister?"

The young woman felt the warm sensation in her palm and slowed her grip on the candy. She looked down at Xiao Chaochao and suddenly gave a self-deprecating laugh, "Yes, she's my sister."

Then, in a slow and soft voice, she said, "She is my younger sister."

Chaochao was puzzled. "Then why does she speak up for outsiders instead of you? My mother said that family members should help each other. She's siding with outsiders."

Just like her uncle who was beaten by her mother, he doesn't help Aunt Panpan at all, and always tries to please Aunt Panpan's ex-husband. It's infuriating.

The young woman looked at Chaochao in surprise, never expecting her to say such a thing.

However, the girl opposite her was not happy. She had subconsciously smiled when she saw Chaochao, but when she heard Chaochao's sarcastic words, her eyes turned ferocious for a moment.

"Little sister, you can't just say things like that." She took a deep breath. "What do you mean by 'turning your elbow to outsiders'? How did I turn my elbow to outsiders?"

“You keep saying your sister is stupid, but my mom says you shouldn’t belittle your own family in front of outsiders, because you’ll only embarrass yourself.”

She never expected to be lectured by a little girl, especially since her older sister didn't even argue back and just looked at the girl gently. She suddenly felt a surge of anger rising inside her. "Can't I even speak the truth? You've been trying to learn to ski for over an hour and you still can't do it. What else can you call that but stupidity?"

"Could it be that the person teaching doesn't know how to teach?" For example, she has already been able to skate a short distance under the guidance of her coach.

"How is that possible? How come I learned it after only two tries?"

"That's because, because..." Chaochao was still a child and not used to arguing with people, so she quickly ran out of words.

Shen Leyang couldn't bear to see her child being bullied, so she immediately stepped forward and spoke up before the young lady could speak, "You learned it after just two tries?"

He looked the woman up and down. "I don't think so. You don't look like a beginner. You should have been skiing for a long time."

The young woman suddenly looked up, staring at her sister in surprise. Chaochao, however, seemed to suddenly understand and blurted out, "Liar."

"You, you guys..."

She looked at the three people opposite her, stomped her foot, and said to the older sister, "I was presumptuous, I was meddling. You don't appreciate it, and you even bullied me with outsiders. Do you even consider me your sister? I'm not talking to you anymore." After she finished speaking, she turned and left. Chaochao looked at the older sister beside her with concern, but the latter remained sitting steadily in her chair, without saying a word or chasing after her.

After the girl had walked away, she lowered her head, smiled, and said to Chaochao, "Thank you."

"You're welcome." Chaochao took out another candy from her pocket. "Then have another one, and your unhappiness will fly away."

The little girl's soft voice softened her heart as well.

"My name is He Sihan. It's nice to meet you, Chaochao."

Chaochao exclaimed in surprise, "Sister Han, my surname is also He! We are so destined to meet!"

He Sihan didn't expect that looking at Chaochao would suddenly make her feel much closer to her.

She looked up at Shen Leyang again, "Thank you for earlier too."

Shen Leyang simply nodded; he could roughly guess the love and hate entanglements involved. It was probably just a melodramatic story of two women fighting over one man, and the absurd part was that the two women were sisters.

The younger sister seemed quite smug; no wonder He Sihan looked at that despicable couple with such hatred just now, and even blurted out that she wanted to kill them.

It's really upsetting to have your two closest people betray you at the same time.

If it were Shen Ruochu, she would probably have already drawn her knife by now. She wouldn't just be spouting threats and would allow a mistress to come dancing in front of her.

Shen Leyang sighed for a moment, then saw that Chaochao had already sat down on a chair to the side, looking like she was about to have a long talk with this sister she had such a good connection with. He could only sigh helplessly and sit down opposite her as well.

No sooner had I sat down and taken a sip of water than someone kicked the back of my chair.

Shen Leyang suddenly stood up, frowning as he looked behind him. "What are you doing?"

"What? You mean I can't teach people to ski, that my skills are bad, that I'm incompetent?" The man opposite him had a fierce look in his eyes, rubbing his fists together as if he wanted to hit someone.

Standing next to him was He Sihan's mistress, who had just left in anger.

Chaochao quickly stood up. "It wasn't my cousin who said it, it was me."

Clearly, the man ignored her words; he was there specifically to target Shen Leyang.

"You're so young, yet you're quite the smooth talker. He Sihan, where did you find this guy? What, you think I can't teach you, so you specially found this pretty boy? You think he's so great that he can teach you? Don't be naive, the kind of person who just uses his looks to swindle money from women."

Shen Leyang was so angry he laughed. He dragged the chair aside and took two steps forward.

He was already 1.85 meters tall, and the man in front of him was half a head shorter than him. As the distance between them closed, Shen Leyang's oppressive aura instantly arrived, and the man couldn't help but take a small step back and slowly swallowed.

Shen Leyang: "You're just a useless piece of trash with poor skills and no ability. You look respectable, but you have crooked eyes, a crooked mouth, and bad breath. I can't imagine how much tolerance Miss He must have to avoid slapping you. Please have some self-awareness. Shouting in front of me will only make you look like a strange clown. Get out of here."
