Chapter 363 Proper Upbringing
She paused for a moment, then looked at the men. "The phoenix eggs and dragon eggs have hatched. I want to go in and take a look."

Without waiting for the men to react, she flashed into the space.

A few bewildered men were left standing there.

Then, all eyes turned to Feng Su and Xuan Yuanming.

"What? My baby hatched?"

Feng Su realized what was happening, her peach blossom eyes filled with surprise. Just as she was about to follow Su Xiyue inside to see her precious child, she discovered that Su Xiyue had already disappeared.

She stomped her foot in a panic, snapping her fiery red feather fan shut. "Little Yue'er runs fast, doesn't she?"

Xuanyuan Ming lowered his eyes, his dark golden eyes shimmering, his fingertips unconsciously rubbing together.

He pondered to himself.

I wonder what it will look like when it hatches, what its qualities will be, and whether it will be male or female.

It's probably a male cub.
The space belonged to Su Xiyue. Without her guidance, Feng Su and Xuan Yuanming couldn't enter and could only wait in place.

within the space.

Su Xiyue was stunned by the scene before her as soon as she entered the space.

Three newly hatched phoenix chicks, though called phoenix chicks, were actually no different from newborn chicks, except their feathers were brighter, fiery red, and covered in slime. They were flying crookedly above the wooden house.

Perhaps they weren't quite good at flying yet, or weren't skilled enough, as the three little phoenixes were flying, their heads and bodies somehow collided together, and suddenly with a 'thud,' they fell to the ground from mid-air.

It kept chirping.

His expression seemed somewhat aggrieved.

She burst out laughing instantly and quickly went to check on the three little phoenixes. The three little creatures were dizzy and disoriented, flapping their wings and trying to fly again.

"Don't rush, don't rush, take your time."

She carefully picked them up from the ground and saw that their feathers were covered with a sticky, eggshell-like slime.

Su Xiyue smiled and simply took them to the spiritual spring to wash them.

The three little ones were very well-behaved and didn't make a fuss. They obediently let her wash them, occasionally rubbing their heads against her palms.

After washing them, place them on the grass.

The three little phoenixes shook their feathers, scattering water droplets. Their feathers were bright red and similar in size and appearance.

However, upon closer inspection, differences can still be observed.

Two of them had brighter plumage, longer and more forked tails, slightly larger bodies, and fiery, vibrant colors.

There was another one with slightly lighter feather color, shorter tail feathers, and a slightly smaller body size.

She wasn't very good at distinguishing between male and female phoenixes, so she simply asked the system, "System, is this one with lighter-colored feathers and shorter tail feathers a female?"

Upon hearing her words, the system replied instantly, "Yes, this is a female cub, and the first one to hatch, the eldest. The two with bright feathers are male cubs. The one on the left is the second to hatch, the second oldest, and the one on the right is the last to hatch, the third oldest."

She nodded slightly, then picked up the female phoenix and examined it closely. If that show-off knew he had a daughter, he'd probably be laughing in his sleep.

However, these three little guys need to be raised carefully. If they become as unruly and willful as Feng Qiwu, it will be a real headache.

Feng Qiwu and Feng Su did not share the same mother, but they did share the same father.

Strictly speaking, Feng Qiwu is this little guy's aunt, but who knows if he has Feng Qiwu's genes in his bones.

No one can say for sure about probability.

And there's the phoenix's cry.

Good heavens, she discovered that apart from Feng Su, none of the Phoenix Clan members had good personalities or genes. She hoped they wouldn't end up like that.

Su Xiyue sighed and turned her gaze back to the two male cubs.

These two little guys must never end up like their grandfather, Fengxiao.

It's not uncommon for grandsons to resemble their grandfathers.

She'd rather be as dashing and charming as Feng Su, with a constant stream of suitors, than be like that old geezer Feng Xiao.

No, I need to have a serious talk with Feng Su later. These three kids need to be taught proper manners from a young age, so that their personalities don't go astray and become irreversible.

She retrieved the three baby phoenixes and returned to the wooden house.

Just walked into the room.

Then I heard the sound of splashing water.

Su Xiyue's eyes instantly fell on the large wooden barrel in the corner.

Then a golden 'little snake'—no, a young dragon—peeked out from inside, its body slender like a chopstick, covered with fine scales.

The golden scales had a faint pink tinge, making it seem as if you could see the flesh inside; it was incredibly delicate.

At first glance, it looks like a small snake.

It swam to the edge of the barrel, seemingly trying to climb out.

It looked like it was about to fall out.

She quickly put down the three little phoenixes and swiftly went to scoop them up.

The golden baby dragon managed to catch it.

But the next second, a blue baby dragon suddenly appeared and fell to the ground with a 'plop'. Su Xiyue hurriedly squatted down, holding the golden baby dragon in her left hand and trying to catch the blue baby dragon with her right.

Two baby dragons twisted and turned in her palm, their slender bodies wrapping around her fingers. The cool, slippery touch sent shivers down her spine.

Fortunately, I've gotten used to it.

"Tongtong, why are these two little guys like eels?"

She mentally complained, but held them carefully in her hands, afraid of dropping them again.

"Newly hatched dragons are all like this; they'll be fine once their scales harden."

The system gave a lazy reply.

Are both of them male? Or is one of them a female?

Unable to distinguish, she quickly asked the system directly for convenience.

"They're all males. Even that madman Xuanyuan Ming is full of masculinity. He's obviously destined to have sons. How could he possibly have daughters? Even if he has ten or eight more litters, they'll all be males."

The system gloated, and just thinking about how the show-off would flaunt his daughter in front of the crazy dragon every day made it hard not to want to watch the show.

As the conversation progressed, a hint of sarcasm crept into his voice.

Upon hearing this, Su Xiyue burst out laughing and gently tapped the golden dragon's head with her fingertip. "It seems your father is destined to have no little darling."

The two baby dragons looked up at her blankly, and the golden baby dragon even stuck out its tiny tongue to lick her fingers, making her laugh because it tickled.

Seeing this, the three little phoenixes flapped their wings and came over, chirping as they snuggled into her arms.

For a moment, she was flustered and almost couldn't catch the little ones.

"Stop it, stop it."

She placed them all on the cushions, feeling both amused and exasperated.

Out of the corner of his eye, he caught sight of the Jianmu tree outside the window, which had grown considerably, and he was momentarily stunned.

I've been so busy dealing with the plague that I've forgotten about the Jianmu tree I planted in the spiritual field in my space.

She quickly picked up the five little ones, walked out of the wooden house, and headed towards the spirit field.

From afar, a small, emerald-green sapling could be seen swaying in the breeze. The tree was no taller than an adult, but its branches and leaves already had a peculiar translucent appearance, with faint golden liquid flowing through the veins.

It started as just a seed, and now it has grown so big.

"They've grown so fast."

She stepped closer and discovered that a small barrier had spontaneously formed around the Jianmu tree, continuously drawing the spiritual energy from the spiritual field into the tree trunk.

A few glistening dewdrops condensed on the leaves, emitting a faint fragrance.

Su Xiyue thought it was just ordinary dew and glanced at it without paying any attention.

He was about to turn around and leave.

The system suddenly reminded her in her mind: "Host, quickly catch those dews. That is Jianmu Spirit Dew. A single drop can awaken the intelligence of ordinary wild beasts. Your cubs will gain even more wisdom after drinking it. This is a good thing. It will be useless if it falls into the soil."

Su Xiyue paused for a moment, put the five guys on the ground, and turned to rush towards the wooden house.

He emerged a moment later with a ceramic bowl in his hand.

Before she could go and receive the Jianmu Spirit Dew,

Two young dragons, one golden and one blue, climbed up the trunk of the Jianmu tree one after the other, and then climbed along the branches to the leaves with spiritual dew.

Although the little guy was light, it still had some weight, and the branches trembled a couple of times under its weight, and it looked like the spiritual dew was about to drip down.

"Be careful."

Her heart leaped into her throat, and she rushed over in three steps, holding the bowl in one hand to catch the spiritual dew, and protecting the two little ones who were about to fall with the other.

But the golden dragon used its tail to hook onto the branch and did not fall.

Instead, its little head moved closer to the leaf, and the spiritual dew slid right into its mouth.

The young blue dragon behind it panicked when it saw its brother drink the spiritual dew, and flicked its tail.

She hooked onto another branch and, just like her brother, opened her mouth to catch the dew on the leaves.

The three little phoenixes were flying around anxiously, but unfortunately they didn't quite know how to navigate. They wanted to drink the dew on the leaves, but because they were flying too fast, they knocked the dew off the leaves instead.

Fortunately, Su Xiyue reacted quickly and caught the ceramic bowl in an instant.

"Don't worry, everyone has a share. Let Amu do it."

She caught all three little phoenixes and carefully collected the spiritual dew from the leaves of the Jianmu tree. There were five drops in total, one drop for each of the five phoenixes.

The two baby dragons drank it all, so there was no more for them. The remaining three drops were just enough to feed the three little phoenixes.

As for the Silver Blade, Black Fiend, Frost Flame, the eight little snake cubs, and Zhuohua outside the space...

We can only feed it again when the Jianmu tree condenses spiritual dew next time.

Although the little ones drank the spiritual dew, no effects can be seen immediately; perhaps they will show results later.

Su Xiyue put the bowl back in the wooden house, thinking that the men were still waiting outside, so she didn't linger inside.

He quickly took the little ones out.
