Chapter 511 The Thief Makes His Move
The old man gradually began to approach Wang Bo and his group.

As they approached, Wang Bo immediately stood up, while Wang Li shifted her position to silently shield Sha Gen to her side.

"Come, come, this place isn't convenient, let me find you a seat."

As Wang Bo spoke, he began to help the elderly man walk outside.

"I think this place is quite nice. Look, there's a seat over there." The old man kept moving forward.

"How can that be? It's too cramped and not suitable for an elderly person like you. Come on, let me take you to find a spacious seat."

Wang Bo used all his strength to pull the old man to the outside of another carriage.

Feng Yuxiu leaned back in his seat, watching with great interest.

Outside the main gate.

Wang Bo immediately let go of the old man's hand and looked at him with amusement.

The elderly man, his hands trembling as he adjusted his reading glasses, looked around in a hoarse voice and asked, "Where's the seat?"

Wang Bo burst out laughing, crossed his arms, leaned against the carriage, and looked the train up and down. "You acted quite well. Have you considered entering the entertainment industry? I think you have no problem becoming a movie star."

The old man continued to sway up and down.

Wang Bo leaned closer. "Stop pretending. We're all wolves. I can smell that scent on you. This kid is mine."

The old man looked bewildered. "What did you say? I don't understand."

"Wow, you're even using Shandong dialect now, is that right?"

Wang Bo limped out.

The old man slowly straightened up, a smile appearing on his face. "Drag your left foot a little, that's right... don't make too big of a movement... yes, yes, yes..."

Wang Bo walked out with a limp, just like that, making a mocking gesture.

Uncle Li took off his glasses and breathed on them. "Interesting, but still a novice."

inside the carriage.

Wang Li, holding Sha Gen's hand, asked seriously, "Why did you say you had money in front of so many people? There are thieves everywhere in this society. How could you be so naive?"

Sha Gen stammered, looking incredulous, "You said there are thieves everywhere, but there aren't any here. This society isn't as bad as you think, big sister. I still believe there are more good people than bad."

Wang Bo laughed out loud, pointing at Sha Gen, "I told you you're stupid, and you still won't admit it. Do you think a thief would write his name on his face?"

Shagen looked speechless and pointed at Feng Yuxiu, "Look how upright this brother is, would he be a thief? My name is Shagen, what's your name, brother?"

"Feng." Feng Yuxiu found the rustic-looking man in front of him rather interesting.

Shagen looked bewildered. "Strange surname, but Big Brother seems like a really nice person."

Wang Bo glanced warily at Feng Yuxiu, then stared at Sha Gen and scolded, "Look at you, is this how you judge people? Just because someone tells you their name you think they're a good person? Do you think a good person's character is written all over their face?"

Sha Gen chuckled, took a handful of sunflower seeds from his pocket and placed them on the small table. "Big brother, don't think so badly of people. My mom said there are more good people than bad in this world."

"Silly brother, you can't see into someone's heart. In this world, you shouldn't have the heart to harm others, but you can't be without the heart to guard against them. Just be careful, and don't be so loud and boisterous in the future."

When Wang Li said this, the sincerity in her eyes made Feng Yuxiu begin to have doubts.

Are these two thieves?

Wang Bo stood up slightly, placed his right hand on Sha Gen's shoulder, and sincerely asked, "Look me in the eyes. Do I look like a thief?"

Shagen shook his head without hesitation, "You're not a thief, you just look down on me. You think I'm just a farmer working for you, and you've never respected me since you came here."

Upon hearing this, the bearded man sitting next to him chuckled, seemingly finding the straightforwardness of the honest young man in front of him quite amusing.

Wang Li smiled slightly, picked up the water glass, gently blew on the boiling water, and drank it.

Wang Bo's eyes darted around, and he pointed at Wang Li's reflection in the river, "Look at her, look at her... doesn't she look like a thief?"

Shagen rolled his eyes. "What are you talking about, brother? Big sister looks like a Bodhisattva. She's the best person I've ever met."

Wang Bo sneered, "Fine, fine, you see everyone as a bodhisattva."

Shagen paused for a moment, then, seeing Wang Li looking at him, began to tell his story, “In our mountain village, someone saw a pile of cow dung on a mountain path. He didn’t have a dung basket, so he drew a circle around it with a stone. A few days later, when he went to check, the pile of cow dung was still there.”

“When I was on the plateau, I often didn’t see a single person, only wolves at night. Sometimes the wolves would glance at me from afar and then leave. Once I left the plateau, I was surrounded by people. I don’t believe that wolves would never harm me, and that people would be worse than wolves.”

Wang Li listened blankly to what this unassuming country bumpkin was saying, her initial indifference turning into complex emotions. Wang Bo, even less inclined to pay attention, turned his head, pressed his face against the window, and closed his eyes.

Feng Yuxiu smiled slightly at the three people in front of him, then stood up to go to the restroom.

He paused slightly as he passed a few people, especially when his gaze fell on the old man at the very edge.

The old man looked to be in his eighties, but the sharpness in his eyes told him that he was no ordinary man.

A man wearing a yellow hat winked at a young man beside him.

The young man nodded, stood up, and followed Feng Yuxiu.

Inside the toilet, Feng Yuxiu finished urinating and looked out at the mountains and peaks, with micro-dust swirling around him from the yellow sand.

Looking up, the white clouds against the blue sky were exceptionally bright.

Feng Yuxiu glanced at it for a moment, then turned and left. Just as he passed the junction of the carriages, a man wearing a yellow baseball cap brushed past him.

Feng Yuxiu stopped in an instant, then turned around and hooked his right hand onto the man's shoulder blade.

"It hurts, it hurts!!"

The man bent over and knelt on the ground, shouting loudly.

"You're pretty quick. Where's the stuff?"

"What? What is that?" the man cried out through gritted teeth.

People in the distant carriages had already stood up and started looking around.

Feng Yuxiu grinned, "You reached into my inner pocket with your right hand, didn't you? Pretty good. Most people wouldn't notice such a subtle movement. You're a pro."

"Either hand it over to me, or..."

Feng Yuxiu used one hand to push the man out of the carriage, and the rootless fingers of his right hand began to bend one by one.

"Either fall down."

At that speed, there's a high chance of surviving a fall, but getting injured here in the Gobi Desert is no different from waiting to die.

Apart from trains, no pedestrians ever pass by here.

However, some wolves from next door sometimes appear in packs.

"I'll give it to you."

The man trembled as he reached for his right hand.

Feng Yuxiu's gaze fell on his face, and suddenly a white light flashed.

The next second, the man's right hand held a gleaming blade between two fingers.

It slashed horizontally across Feng Yuxiu's neck.

Feng Yuxiu lost his patience and pulled in instantly, his knee slamming into his chest.

Click.

The crisp sound made the man's face turn pale instantly and his mouth gape open. Feng Yuxiu took out his ID and wallet from the man's pocket, thought for a moment, and then released his right hand that was gripping the man's neck.

boom!
The heavy object slowly fell and disappeared due to inertia.

"Looks like I'm being watched. Did I flaunt my wealth? Or... this is getting interesting."

He originally didn't want to get involved, given how thieves travel in gangs these days.

There's no way to manage it all. As times progress and electronic products become widespread, people's habit of carrying wallets disappears.

Thieves will gradually be eliminated by the times.

But now, this group of thieves is actually provoking him.

I really don't know how many eyes Lord Ma has.

"Perfect for loosening up my bones."

Feng Yu packed up his wallet and walked nonchalantly into the carriage.

He wanted to see how many thieves there were.
