Mercenary I am the king

Chapter 843 Escape

Chapter 843 Escape
"Get up, everyone!"

Upon receiving Simon's message, Song Heping immediately shook Nura, who was still fast asleep in bed, and then went to the side and kicked Antonov, who was sleeping on the carpet.

“We’ve been exposed. CIA agents are on their way here.”

After saying that, Song Heping immediately ran upstairs and knocked on the door of Khalid's family of three in the dark.

"Who?!"

Khalid was very nervous in the room.

Knocking on the door at this hour seems too sudden.

“It’s me, Song.”

Song Heping went straight to the point: "The CIA has contacted us, we must evacuate immediately!"

The door was quickly opened, and Khalid stood in the doorway, looking surprised: "How did they find this place?"

“I don’t know either, but they are heading this way right now. If we don’t evacuate within five minutes, we will be in danger.”

Song Heping's tone was very solemn.

Khalid could tell that the Easterner in front of him was not exaggerating.

"Okay! Wait a minute, I need to get ready..."

"Stop cleaning up, we only have five minutes, or we'll be the ones getting cleaned up."

Upon hearing this, Khalid turned and ran back into the room, saying to Ritter and Nina, who were lying on the bed with bruises all over their faces, "Ritter, hurry, we're leaving!"

The small house instantly descended into chaos.

Khalid opened his wardrobe, pushed open the hidden compartment inside, and took out a small radio and weapons, stuffing them haphazardly into a large travel bag.

"Honey, don't take the rupee. Leave it here, we'll get it when we come back."

Nina hugged her rag doll, and Rita coaxed her to stop taking it with her.

Unexpectedly, the little girl was quite clever. Perhaps knowing that she might not have a chance to come back this time, she clung tightly to the doll.

“No, I want to take Ruby. Leaving it here alone will scare it…”

"Nina, be a good girl!"

Khalid was somewhat flustered, and his tone was more stern than ever before.

"Wow--"

Nina burst into tears.

Song Heping walked straight to Nina, took the rag doll called "Ruby" that Rite had put away, and put it back in Nina's hand.

"Don't cry, take it with you."

Turning to Ritter and Khalid, he said, "Don't let the child cry now. We owe her that, she owes us nothing."

This sentence has a profound meaning.

Khalid's face immediately showed remorse.

"Let her take it."

The man muttered something under his breath, not even having the courage to look at his own daughter.

Once outside, Song Heping stopped Khalid: "We'll go to the rendezvous point early, but—"

His gaze shifted to Rita and Nina.

"They can't come along."

Khalid immediately understood.

Song Heping is the target, but he himself is also unacceptable to the government forces.

Now, with Rita and her daughter following these people, things can only get more dangerous.

Khalid pondered for a moment, then went to his wife and daughter and said to Rita, "You can't come with us."

"Why?!" Rita was puzzled.

Khalid said, "There's no time to explain. It's more dangerous for you to come with us. You take Nina to Uncle Hardy's house and hide there for a while. I'll come back to pick you up after I've finished my business."

Rita gripped Khalid's hand tightly, but quickly let go.

No one knows her husband better than herself.

Khalid has a pickup truck in his garage.

After Song Heping and the others threw their equipment onto the truck bed, they sat down directly in the back. Song Heping then said to Nura, "You drive. Stop when you pass through the woods." "Okay."

Nura immediately took the driver's seat.

Khalid was somewhat taken aback.

Song Heping told him, "Don't ask, let's go first, I'll explain later."

The pickup truck sped away from Khalid's hut, heading towards the abandoned oil refinery, and passed the woods a kilometer away.

Nula brakes.

Song Heping jumped out of the car, walked to the driver's side, and said to Khalid, "Let Rite and Nina go to Uncle Hardy's house from here."

"Why!?" Khalid asked, puzzled.

Leaving a mother and daughter here in the middle of the night, especially in a country in turmoil, is clearly not something Khalid wanted to see.

"If you want their safety, do as I say."

Song Heping pointed to the sky.

"You still don't understand why we were discovered?"

Khalid's face turned as white as paper in the moonlight.

After a moment's hesitation, he opened the car door, went to the back seat, and called his wife and children out of the car.

"It's only a few hundred meters to Uncle Hardy's house from here, you can walk there yourselves."

“Can’t you give us a ride?” Ritter still didn’t understand. “It’s less than a kilometer away.”

Song Heping said with certainty, "Rite, believe me, it's much safer for you to walk there than for us to take you there."

Khalid drew a Maklov pistol from his waist and handed it to Rita: "Take it, my woman should be stronger."

Rita stood frozen, gun in hand, while little Nina looked at the adults, bewildered.

Khalid gritted his teeth and got back into the car.

Song Heping got into the passenger seat and said to Nura, "Let's go, to the oil refinery!"

The car drove away, kicking up dust that swept over Rita and Nina. The separation was so brief, yet so long.

"Nassin, our whereabouts have been exposed."

In the car, Song Heping took out a satellite phone to contact Nassin.

"Should we replace the connector?"

Nassin asked hastily.

Song Heping said, "No need. Go to the abandoned oil refinery as originally planned. If I'm not mistaken, when you arrive..."

He raised his hand to check his watch: "If we don't waste any time, we should be able to make it in time for a major battle."

"You're planning to confront the CIA's special operations team at the oil refinery?"

Nassin gasped.

“I heard that the ‘Watchmen’ squad is coming this time.”

The "Watchmen" unit is the most elite operational force of the CIA's Covert Operations Division, with combat capabilities comparable to those of U.S. special forces.

"We can't escape, understand?"

Song Heping said, "I estimate that the satellites in the sky are watching our car right now. We can't shake them off no matter where we go. The only way is to kill all the people who come to cause trouble."

“Alright, I have nine men on my side, and we’re armed,” Nassin said. “They’re all top-notch special forces from the Revolutionary Guard; they should be able to help you.”

Nassin stopped trying to dissuade him.

He had known Song Heping's personality for a long time.

He was even more aware of Song Heping's fighting capabilities.

What he sees as a terrifying enemy may be nothing more than a pushover in his eyes.

"Remember, before you reach the refinery, stop the car two kilometers away, then search and approach. If you see any enemies, just take them out."

Song Heping gave instructions to this student who had once studied tactics with him.

“No problem,” Nassin said. “Leave the peripheral scum to me.”

After hanging up the phone, Song Heping said to Khalid, "Now you can tell me which armed faction you belong to, right?"
