Two Worlds: I studied abroad at Hogwarts
Chapter 9: Different
Chapter 9: Bengbeng is different
"Speaking of Galleons, Harry, do you know what happened at Gringotts? The Daily Prophet is all over it, saying someone tried to rob the highly secured underground vault!"
"Really? What happened next?"
"Nothing, but I'm curious about another thing in the newspaper," said Ron, taking his old robes out of the suitcase.
"what's up?"
"The newspaper said a new student at Hogwarts had Gringotts rewrite the rules for exchanging gold Galleons!"
Ron put on his robes and continued, "I don't know who is so powerful. Those goblins in Gringotts are not to be trifled with."
Bengbeng is very good, especially at finding things. Of course, his favorite thing is to find shiny things.
But you can find other things too.
When Moon and his companions caught up with Bengbeng, it had already blocked a golden-backed toad at the corner of the last carriage.
Bengbeng pointed his little paws at each other, turned his head and chirped at Moon, as if urging them to hurry up and not let the toad run away.
Moon just walked over, picked it up and jumped around. He was not likely to touch the toad because he had never liked touching sticky and slippery things since he was a child.
Hermione also stood aside, and only Neville quickly ran over and grabbed the toad.
"Thank you for helping me find Leif. My name is Neville Longbottom. I will find a way to get those two Galleons."
"Oh, no need. Actually, Bengbeng is also my little butler. I won't lose anything by giving it the gold galleons."
He was originally jumping with pride in his hands, but when he heard Moon talking about gold galleons, he quickly covered the small pocket on his stomach.
"Okay, thank you Bongbong then."
After thanking him, Neville carried the toad back, telling it not to run around.
"I think I saw it on Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them."
Hermione looked at Bong Bong with interest, then pondered for a moment. "But I need to confirm it. I can give you the answer tomorrow."
"You mean Bongbong is a magical animal?" Moon also looked at Bongbong in surprise.
"Of course, some ordinary animals will help find things, but they definitely won't want money as a reward."
Watching Bongbong crawl back into Moon's pocket, Hermione looked carefully at the boy in front of her who was taller than her.
The jet-black hair falls softly in front of the white forehead.
The azure eyes are deep and bright, as if just a glance can make people fall in love with them.
A high nose bridge and a three-dimensional facial contour.
At this moment, a beam of light happened to shine on Moon, making him look as if he was out of tune with this world.
"I don't know your name yet," Hermione ventured to ask.
"Moon, Moon Scarlett."
"Okay, Moon, I advise you to go back to the private room and change into your school uniform. I just asked the driver upstairs, and we should be at school soon."
When Moon returned to the private room, it was in a mess, with the snacks on the small dining table scattered all over the floor.
"What happened?" Moon looked at Harry.
"Nothing, Malfoy and the others just came over."
Before Harry finished speaking, Hermione, who was standing beside him, frowned. "You guys didn't fight, did you? You've already caused trouble before we even got there."
"No! Scabbers just had a fight," said Ron, holding Scabbers up high as if he had done something great.
Hermione wanted to continue asking questions when an announcement sounded inside the train.
"The train will arrive at Hogwarts in five minutes. Please leave your luggage on the train and we will take you to school."
"Okay, let's go, Moon still needs to change clothes." Hermione glared at Ron who was talking and left angrily.
Listening to Ron and Hermione's angry words, Moon just smiled and went back to the private room, took out the robe from the suitcase and changed.
After four years of being hurt by rumors and gossip, Moon no longer cares about quarreling with his peers.
All he wanted now was to study magic well. Harry was busy clearing away the uneaten snacks on the table, but Ron seemed to have noticed something that interested him.
"Is your school uniform old too?"
Ron asked with shining eyes, looking at the wear marks on the cuffs of Moon's robe.
"Yes, I bought it at the second-hand robe shop in Diagon Alley. How is it? Doesn't it fit me well?"
Although Moon has lived in both worlds, his best clothing is still his current robe.
When he put it on, he felt a little excited, after all, this was the proof of being a little wizard.
"Didn't you just give Bongbong two gold galleons? Why don't you buy new clothes?"
Ron didn't understand Moon's behavior at all. In his opinion, giving money to pets while wearing old clothes was tantamount to agreeing that house-elves could not work.
"Of course this is different. Bengbeng is my best friend."
Moon wanted to explain, but the train had already stopped.
People started lining up to get out of the carriage, and the older students were shouting at the freshmen to get off quickly.
The platform after getting off the train is dark and small, and you need the lights on the train to see the surroundings clearly.
"First years, first years here! Harry, are you alright?"
A very tall and strong man appeared on the platform. He was also the tallest man Moon had ever seen.
Harry said a few words to the strong man, and then everyone followed the strong man towards a small path.
For Moon, walking in the woods was not a difficult thing. When he was guarding the hazelnut forest at York Farm, he often had to patrol at night to drive away small animals that stole food.
However, Neville, who was with him, had a very difficult time walking. Every three or five steps he would either step into a puddle or kick up a stone or branch.
Holding Neville with one hand and listening to him constantly thanking or saying sorry to him, Moon felt that this boy must have stepped into all the hidden traps on this path.
After walking through the forest path with great difficulty, the view in front of me suddenly became wider.
Moon guessed that there must be a big river not far away because he could see the shadows of stars reflected on the water.
There seemed to be a giant beast-like building in the distance, but it was already completely dark at this time, and the entire picture could not be seen clearly with the few weak lights on the giant beast.
The burly man walking in front shouted for the four people to get on a small boat, but his shouting was so loud that it woke up Bengbeng, who was sleeping in Moon's pocket, and then a small head popped out of the pocket.
"Oh, look, it's a Niffler!"
Moon was just about to plan to get on the boat, but the strong man in front of him lowered his head and looked at Bongbong who crawled out of his pocket.
"First years aren't allowed to have a Niffler as a pet, don't you know that, kid?"
Hagrid looked at Bong Bong with interest, then turned to look at Moon.
"Ah! But Bengbeng has been following me for a long time."
"It's called Bounce, right? Hello, Bounce, I'm Hagrid."
Seeing the finger extended by the strong man named Hagrid, Bengbeng seemed to understand the meaning of the other party's words, and actually stretched out his little paw to shake it.
"Oh, it's really clever, though, kid."
"You can call me Moon."
"Okay, Moon, if you want to raise Pengpeng, remember to ask your dean for a note agreeing to the adoption after the branch is established. Mmm, it might be helpful."
"Okay, thanks Hagrid."
"You're welcome. Of course, if your dean doesn't allow you to keep it, you can come to me. I will find a good place for it in the Forbidden Forest."
While Moon and Hagrid were talking, most of the students boarded the boats, except for the last two.
Hagrid was alone, while Moon went to the other one.
"I just saw you with the Weasley kids."
Moon sat in the last seat of the boat and looked at the thin blond boy who was speaking in front of him.
