This is our Warhammer journey
Chapter 410 There's absolutely no need to worry.
Chapter 410 There's absolutely no need to worry.
An urgent report from Azrael slightly disrupted Dawnwing's plans.
"It's troublesome."
After listening to Azrael's report, Arthur and Ramses exchanged a glance.
These Chaos Gods are really anxious. They are all making their own arrangements and coming up one after another, forcing them to choose.
I wonder what the others are preparing to show them.
As for the possibility of the Lion King's return?
Arthur harbored no ill will toward the Lion King; after all, he was a loyalist. Although he was a bit stubborn, it would be unwise to rashly sever and abandon the friendship that might still exist between them.
The growth of strength gives you the capital to make the right choice, rather than waiting until you become stronger and then not making that choice.
The surrounding dark angels remained silent.
Although everyone has their own ideas, the most important thing at this moment is the leader's decision.
How many troops are needed?
Arthur asked, briefly setting aside his remote discussion with Romulus.
Motalian and his group have not yet been found, but the main force of the Dawnwings must move towards Macragge, otherwise they will not be able to react in time once they find any signs of activity.
"We now have sufficient control over all the subgroups and do not need to allocate additional strategic resources."
Azrael's answer was simply a matter of convenience.
"However, while we can guarantee the fleet's victory, even if no knight is afraid to sacrifice himself after a boarding attack, we still cannot guarantee that we can stop the enemy and prevent them from achieving their goal."
Azrael then expressed his concerns.
Lesser gods and chosen ones are really difficult to deal with, especially since Abaddon might be among them.
Although Abaddon's constant attempts to use his prized martial arts skills to provoke his father were always clownish, his influence over Astartes was undeniable.
In this era, aside from those psionicists with strange and grotesque appearances, Abaddon was the true first person of the Astartes.
In summary, the biggest problem at present is the lack of high-end combat power. There is an urgent need for combat power of the Primarch level to be in place in order to ensure that the enemy does not achieve its military objectives.
"How to say?"
Ramses tentatively inquired.
Everyone remained calm.
After all, we usually make a lot of contingency plans, so we can come up with a reference case when faced with this series of emergencies.
“Galna and I will take the main force to Macurag, while you go to the Misty Starfield. Whichever side finishes first will provide support.”
Romulus simply offered advice.
All you want is Primarch-level combat power, right? Things are different now than before, we can definitely provide that.
The megalith was important, and so was Macurag. After both sides had developed a certain level of self-defense capabilities and Ramses had established a stable communication system, they were also mentally prepared to split up their forces.
Unfortunately, the current situation at Galaxy is that it's still a cat cafe run by individual owners, with too much poop and too few cat owners.
"What should we do if Master Ya and I aren't keeping an eye on things in the subspace?"
Dragged to the meeting, Corax, who had remained silent since Huron's communications a few days prior, opened his mouth but hesitated to speak.
"How about we send the nineteenth prince?"
Before Corax could even begin to agonize over his words, Romulus's inquiry reached his ears.
What about me?
He paused for a moment, then looked up.
The eyes of those around him had already fallen on the seemingly insignificant Lord of Shadows, as if seeking their opinions.
Corax opened his mouth.
Then it closed again.
After repeating this several times, he spoke:
"Isn't this not good?"
"???"
Even Karna, who was idling around next to Romulus, couldn't help but type a series of question marks.
No, man.
You just answer yes or no, what does "isn't that a bit inappropriate" mean?
So you need your brothers to give you some psychological support, right?
Hey--
Yes, brother, yes.
"Great, really great!"
Ramses grabbed the nineteenth prince by the shoulder and shook him, then spoke first.
"I think it's fine. Old Nineteen can take on at least ten of me. With the support of the Legion, guarding a spot shouldn't be a problem."
While Dawnwing may not offer much else, it certainly provides ample emotional value.
"Indeed, there's no such thing as good or bad when it comes to our own people."
"I have no opinion."
"me too."
Ramses shook Corax at the opportune moment.
"."
Corax stared at him blankly with his dark eyes.
"Why isn't it responding?"
Ramses pondered for a moment, then struck with his fist.
“That’s true. After we got in touch with you, Old Nineteen, all we did was make you do the work. There was nothing we could give back.”
Not really, I actually quite enjoy my work.
Corax thought it was nice to be in the Wings of Dawn.
The oppressive atmosphere that almost crushed everything was gone, and there was no longer any need for killing that seemed to be only a meaningless outlet for venting. Every action was grounded in reality, and the rewards for the effort were visible to the naked eye.
It was as beautiful as the dream that emperors always talked about.
"I accept the mission."
Kolac spoke up, without responding to Ramses's self-absorbed monologue.
After saying that, he wanted to run off to get to work.
"Hey, hey, hey!" Ramses quickly grabbed him.
"Don't rush yet."
He suddenly remembered something.
Back then, he only relied on one-sided connections to recruit brothers. After they came up the mountain, there really wasn't any proper induction ceremony. Basically, he used his social skills to drag his brothers around, and it seems he didn't give them any proper treatment.
You really can't be without this person; otherwise, you'll easily feel like an outsider.
Ramses thought for a moment, then looked up at Arthur, and the astute knight immediately understood.
Corax looked puzzled.
ah?--
He died because of a sense of responsibility.
In the solemn hall with the round table, facing the bright dawn's rays above, everyone said in unison:
"The Wings of Dawn defend the dignity of human survival; their duty can only be broken by death."
"The name has already been given."
Arthur solemnly said:
"Let us give praise to Corvacs Corax, warrior of mankind, who is about to join our great cause!"
"Humanity will be proud of what you have done!"
Ramses and his two partners on the other end of the communication line shouted.
The dark angels, who had rushed over to witness the results of their support efforts, instead served as a ceremonial guard.
He stood solemnly, arms braced against the hilt, sword in hand.
"Corvacs Corax".
Arthur looked at Corax.
Although he didn't express any opinion, he didn't move an inch when he noticed everyone making arrangements.
Arthur asked:
"We hope you can join our business. What do you think?"
“I gladly accept.”
Have you sworn allegiance to the Wings of Dawn?
"I swear."
Corax said.
"Are you willing to abide by the Dawnwing's mandate for the rest of your life?"
"I am willing."
"As long as the Wings of Dawn continue to dedicate themselves to protecting humanity, are you willing to serve them wholeheartedly?"
"I am willing."
Romulus asked, "Have you sworn an oath to fulfill your duties and obey orders?"
“I swear this.”
Corax said.
Karna asked, "Have you sworn allegiance to the millions of human beings who constitute the existence of our civilization?"
“I swear this.”
Corax said.
Ramses asked, "Have you sworn to defend humanity's pursuit of truth, and to fight to the bitter end against any evil?"
"I swear."
Corax said.
Arthur asked, "Have you sworn an oath to stand firmly against all human enemies, whether internal or external?"
"I swear."
Corax said.
"Let the dawn that shines upon us be our witness."
Arthur said.
Are you willing to become a defender of humanity's future?
"I am willing."
"No matter the cost?"
"No matter the cost."
“We accept your oath, Corax.”
As the starlight pierced through the porthole, the dazzling ray of dawn fell upon the tip of the sword, transforming into scattered light that bathed Corax's body.
"Welcome to the Wings of Dawn."
As the sword slowly fell, striking the ground and scattering sparks, Romulus, Ramses, Karna, and Arthur took turns bowing to Corax.
"You are one of us now."
Ramses patted Corax on the shoulder and began to speak.
".Yes."
Corax answered, stroking the holy light in his hand.
The wings were thoughtfully redesigned to fit the style of the Dark Raven Lord.
He clenched his fist.
"I'm!"
The Wings of Dawn took this as their mark.
Ten thousand years later, the trail of the Glory Queen streaked across the sky.
The five men greeted each other, chatted and laughed side by side, and then each left with their responsibilities.
There's no need to worry about it.
