Chapter 382: Travelogue and Actions

Chapter 382 Observations and Actions Along the Way
"The Milky Way is about to get lively."

It took Arthur and Romulus almost two years to return to the Dawn Sector.

At this point, Dawn Star had been straightened out. The Great Ruler took over a series of affairs and quickly resolved the redundant tasks, while also initiating a new round of construction covering the entire star sector.

This included the construction of large shipyards and the deployment of various permanent interstellar fortresses. It was like the whole thing was under a state of constant vigilance, with construction going on like crazy.

After dealing with matters within the Vortex Sector, Arthur returned with the three chapters that had participated in the 'First Midnight Sector Expedition'.

The issue of the Ghoul Starfield was left to the Vortex, since there had to be a reason for increasing the number of troops. Once the situation on both sides of the wormhole stabilized, the Science Hub would have Kaul and Tarasin lead a team to conduct a detailed study of the wormhole.

Arthur originally intended to go in person, but he was stopped by the Dark Angels and their large group of Knights of the Round Table.

They decided not to discuss the wormhole further, given Lord Ramses's assurance; after all, although he had a sharp tongue, he always spoke the truth.

They wouldn't say anything about the chaos within the galaxy, but the environment in the Ghoul Starfield was so complex that even warp navigation for the large fleet was problematic, not to mention the hordes of monsters and demons. Its strategic priority was extremely low, so it wasn't worth the Primarch putting himself in danger. The specific strategies and tactics could be left to Flamewing to arrange, and he would make sure everything was arranged clearly.

Arthur thought it made sense and followed the advice.

As the Great Vortex sector stabilized, the Dark Angels quickly completed their diversion in the region.

One group oversaw the successful consolidation of the expedition in the 'Midnight' sector, while another followed behind the Weeping Ones toward Euctarius.

Octarius, a large orcish empire located in the western part of the Extreme Starfield and the southern part of the Great Vortex, encompasses hundreds of greenskin star systems. Its scope is almost comparable to that of Alteramar. Due to years of warfare, the greenskins within it have developed to a high level. The planets occupied by these orcish warlords are almost all filled with war machines and fully armed greenskin giants.

This orcish empire is special; barring unforeseen circumstances, it will become a bastion in the future, resisting the largest Tyranid swarm invasion in the galaxy's history.

The two sides will fight and evolve in this star sector, and the ultimate victor will completely absorb the corpses of the losers, ultimately bringing infinite shock to the galaxy.

Of course, compared to the future scenario where some idiot Inquisitor blows up hundreds of planets of the Empire to create a buffer zone, ultimately leading to the Tyranids and Greenskins breeding monsters from each other, the current Orcs are just so-so, and are even still in internal strife and have not yet achieved unity.

Arthur's goal was to weaken this Greenskin Empire to the greatest extent possible, rather than keeping these unstable elements around to nurture the Leviathan Hive fleet that was about to invade the Galactic Heart from below the galaxy.

Amidst the satisfied expressions of the Dark Angel veterans, the Knight Lord abandoned his usual meticulous approach to conquered sectors and decisively initiated the extermination order after destroying the orbital defense facilities of each Greenskin world.

He didn't care much about whether these worlds, which had been occupied by the greens for so long, had any value for recycling, nor did he want to delay the matter for too long. His goal was simply to rely on his foresight to eliminate these alien threats as much as possible.

The Weeping Ones lead the way, responsible for drawing out the largest lightning bolts, while the Dark Angels follow behind to detonate them, making it very efficient.

They bombed their way from the Galactic Center to the Dawn Sector.

"On the return journey, we also carried out an extermination attack on Erk, but it is uncertain whether the Bonebreakers are dead."

After recounting his experiences, Arthur continued.

The Bonebreaker, the future leader of the orcs, led the Greenskins in two consecutive attacks on Amegiddon. Judging from his actions, his aim was likely to reclaim the homeworld of the 30k-era Ulanor orc empire.

He is the strongest, the most waaaagh orc warlord.

It was born on 'Erk' and disappeared during the War of the Beasts. It is no longer a planet recorded in the Imperial Records. Even the old prophet Uslan predicted its location thousands of years in advance and couldn't find it when he went to Terra to search through the files.

It's possible that it exists, but everyone thinks that given Terra's current strength in PUBG, it's unlikely to be found.

Interestingly, this is a planet that was conquered by the Dark Angels during the Great Crusade, and was then known as Erocras in the Imperial Archives.

Even more coincidentally, some of the dark angels who conquered this planet were Arthur's subordinates.

However, Arthur wasn't entirely sure about the effectiveness.

After all, the Greenskins also have two Warp Gods, and given their terrifying adaptability—they can basically grow out of the ground on any habitable planet—it's hard to say they might grow out of somewhere else.

"Do your best and obey destiny."

Romulus replied that even during internal activities, his hands were constantly reviewing documents. At the next table, De la Cruz was using a fishing rod to silently lift the reviewed documents away with a clever magnetic hook without disturbing the four people's conversation. He would then hook the paper documents that needed review onto the hook and swing them back, making the whole action look somewhat comical.

"I think so too."

Arthur nodded slightly.

They were all calm about whether this series of processes could achieve the desired results, just like the space station outside the window that was currently reassembling its orbit. Some projects are destined to take time to prove themselves.

It's enough to gain a slight advantage through foresight; relying too much on this special ability can easily turn you into a Spirit race. It's better to just do what you can do honestly.

"By the way, is the Ash Claws naturalization plan finished? I'm currently reviewing the chapter supplies for Blade's Feast, so I can finish it at the same time."

Romulus pushed a document aside, took a bite of the sugary cake without looking up, and asked...

He thought the Blade Feast of the Imperial Fist was a pretty good event. Before Arthur and the others returned, he had been thinking about organizing a similar one, modeled after the All-Army Grand Tournament, and setting up a related reward process.

There are quite a few chapters invited so far, many of whom are visiting the Dawn Sector for the first time, so a resupply plan needs to be arranged.

He had originally planned to expand the Astral Army, but it was too large a scale, so he decided to start on a smaller scale first and continue to maintain it if the results were good.

"I sent it to you."

Arthur mumbled a response through the straw, took a sip of his soda, and then looked down at the "Internal Hidden Dangers Report of the Dawn Sector" submitted by the Dark Angel, which was being investigated by the Weeping Ones.

busy--

very busy.

The Invincible Iron Guard and the Dark Angel gathered around, waiting for orders. Neither of them chose to disturb the Dawn Wings' relaxing time together.

They would risk their lives to protect this peace.

It's hard to call it relaxing.

While both sides felt gratified and hopeful, they couldn't help but turn their attention to the other side.

On the other side of the long table, the two figures in red presented a completely different atmosphere from the bustling scene on this side.

Karna and Ramses, who had almost been liberated upon returning to the Dawn System, were now enjoying the delicious food on the table. Seasonal fruits from the agricultural world glistened enticingly under the lights, and perfectly roasted meats emitted an irresistible aroma.

"It's delicious."

Karna asked with a smile.

As soon as the two brothers returned, he dragged everyone to a dinner party, not really paying attention to the fact that the two "Kings of Rolls" had essentially changed their office location.

Although everyone is busy with their own things, at least we're all here, right?

that's enough.

"."

Ramses kept stuffing food into his mouth, shouting in his heart, "This tastes just right for the 21st century!" while giving a thumbs up.

The plate in front of him was already piled up like a small mountain, but he was still stuffing freshly cut roast meat into his mouth, his cheeks bulging like a satisfied hamster.

The restaurant's warm light pierced through the tense and serious work atmosphere next door, casting a lazy golden glow on the two of them.
