Chapter 264 This Space Wolf is a God!

Chapter 264 This Space Wolf is a God!
"There are no flaws; you can't see any clues at all."

"Can time acceleration fields be used like this?"

"That's a reaction only Primarchs can have; I suggest you don't learn it."

"Can't we perform surgery ourselves?"

"Then the question is, who will perform the surgery?"

"."

The room fell silent as the wolf priests exchanged bewildered glances.

Wolf Fang Fortress, the priest's sanctuary, where a group of wolf priests in charge of apothecary duties are studying the report submitted by Broken Steelwing.

Of course, the wolves wouldn't just let someone they'd only known for a few days handle their most precious treasure on a whim. So, at the alpha wolf's call, the priests reluctantly put down their mead and began to use their professional skills to determine whether the proposed medical plan was feasible.

After studying it for several days, some people even cut off their own hands to try it out and found that there was indeed no problem.

"no problem!"

A bunch of wolf priests huddled together and whispered amongst themselves.

The biggest problem is that there is no problem.

How could there be a stranger who is kind to you for no reason?

Are you my father?
"It's not impossible."

Ramses shrugged.

The banquet continued. According to the Wild Wolves' tradition, this victory celebration would last for about thirteen days. If there were no urgent matters after thirteen days, the company would continue the banquet.

The four of them couldn't take it anymore, so they called Logan in and started discussing the relevant matters.

Even after twenty years, their concept of time still hasn't changed.

Romulus was coordinating the technicians and equipment at the forge, Karna had gone off with the angels to drink with mortals, and Arthur and he were here communicating with the wolves, showing off their skills, and laying the groundwork for the dissemination of their technology.

But the dog has become shrewd; it will test even the best meat for a long time.

Arthur has a good temper, but he has a bad temper.

The wolf priest was stunned for a moment, then realized that he had been taken advantage of.

"Hurry up, the fleet has a heavy mission, and we may not even return to Fenris on our return journey."

Ramses couldn't help but cover the other's mouth and urged:
"Even if I'm not your father, I'm still your uncle. I wouldn't harm you."

"."

Many wolf priests sensed the resentment and knew that the Primarch's patience had been worn down.

To be honest, the wolves were really conflicted.

On one hand, they wanted to free Bjorn, after all, the old wolf's suffering was real.

On the one hand, given the various historical issues, they are really unsure whether they should place their trust in him.

"Alpha Wolf, we still have the elders' data. How about I give myself a few blows like that and see if I can save the adults?"

"The wolf priest asked aloud."

He's the one who cut off his own hand to cosplay Bjorn at the beginning.

The hand is still growing, and it's covered with a mechanical device.

That's too willful!

Logan slapped the wolf priest on the back of the head.

Seriously, what do they take the Primarch for?

They're already being very generous by providing data and real-world examples. Even if they have doubts, they shouldn't force the Primarch to take action in this way.

Just because someone's giving you face doesn't mean you're going to take advantage of them.
"I'll take the data and ask Old Wolf."

He collected the data submitted by the wolf priests and then prepared to leave.

Before leaving, he glared at the wolf priests one last time.

"You lot, behave yourselves."

"Yeah yeah~"

Those responses sounded rather perfunctory.

Logan shook his head, apologized to Ramses and Arthur by pounding his chest, and then left.

They cannot afford to be careless.

This is Bjorn, after all.
-
Bjorn One-Hand, the most sacred Dreadnought of the Empire, is the oldest among the Dreadnoughts. He is the only member of Leman Ruth's personal Wolf Guard who was left behind when Ruth went to the Eye of Terror.

Whenever he recounted this day to the later Wolf Warriors, each warrior could taste the intense pain of rejection in his words.

For an Astartes, the most painful form of bullying is when your father leaves you behind.

For a fearless old man, the most painful form of bullying is when his father takes all the wolf guards to fight and then abandons him.

My pain is greater than yours!
Bjorn is fully qualified to say this to all Astartes.

Especially now, having witnessed the Dark Angels' family reunion next door, those familiar faces would frequently bring their newly trained juniors to the neighborhood to toast Wild Wolf, and incidentally give him a little nudge—it was practically as if they were saying—

'Hey, Bjorn, what happened? You've gotten so bad in ages! And why are you buried in the Dreadnought?'

'Where's your dad? Where's your brother?'

High blood pressure.
Bjorn lay motionless on the fur carpet, suddenly feeling as if his soul had left his body; the entire Fearless seemed almost dead.

The wolf cubs around him looked at the Holy Fearless, who was completely in a negative state, and stood around him, not knowing what to do.

Some people think that the old man was unhappy to see the Dark Angel, so he impulsively grabbed the nearest Ultra Warrior and put him in the arena.

Some people think the old man is planning to create another story, and he's standing next to the other person chanting those verses to give them inspiration.

One idiot even thought that the old wolf hadn't had mead in a long time, and tried to pour wolf wine into the seam of the Holy and Dreadnought Life Support pod, only to be slapped to the ground by his own wolf priest from Dalian.

It's set up like a circus.

"Old Wolf! Old Wolf!" Just then, Logan, the alpha wolf, pushed through the noisy pack of wolf cubs and came closer.

"Let me lie down for a while."

Bjorn lay there on the board. When he saw Logan approaching, he said weakly, "I'll give you a list later. Make sure to wake me up when those people are lying there."

He had to laugh at it immediately.

Compared to other fearlessness that becomes increasingly difficult to awaken over time, Bjorn is rather unique.

He could wake up whenever he wanted, and at the dawn of each new century, he would be awakened once at a banquet. Except for a very few unlucky souls, very few people had not heard him tell stories.

Since the 32nd millennium when he was fighting Magnus who invaded Fenris, he had felt that something was wrong with him. Even though his body was asleep in the static field, he could vaguely sense the state of the entire Wolf Fang Fortress and wake up when the wolves needed him.

Perhaps that's why the wolf king abandoned him.

'I think they probably won't make it into the Fearless Challenge.'

Seeing Bjorn lower his claws again after raising them in a gesture, Logan, who had just finished reading the 'body re-cultivation technology' submitted by Broken Steelwing, muttered something and moved closer to the Holy and Dauntless observation window.

"The adults have a way to remove you from the sarcophagus and restore your body."

He has already gathered the wolf priests to analyze the detailed plan carefully, and so far they can't see any problems. On the contrary, a group of people seem to have suddenly understood.

Moreover, this was the Primarch's promise, and there were a series of cases personally handled by the Primarch. He planned to seek Old Wolf's opinion.

"What's the mortality rate?!"

Bjorn immediately perked up, stood up, and asked in surprise.

During the Great Expedition, he encountered many supernatural beings and had heard of such techniques, but the mortality rate was very high.

He wasn't surprised at all that the Primarch could pull it out. Ruth had even combined the Wolf Spiral with the Surgery in order to help the Fenris better adapt to the Space Wolf's gene seed.

Logan waved his hand, and the wolf cubs around him immediately dispersed. Then he handed them a recording device.

"hundred percent--"

Bjorn seemed to hear heavenly music.

"Survival rate".

The above is a video of the Primarch performing a public surgery; Bjorn even saw one that was just a brain.

Hilarious, they managed to save it.

"Oh."

Bjorn plopped down on the ground again.

"Then you decide what to do."

"Then let's do it?"

Logan saw that Bjorn looked half-dead again and went closer.

To be honest, he still really hopes Bjorn can recover. There was nothing he could do before, but now he sees hope.

Several wolf priests even consulted some materials and examined Bjorn's fatal wound, intending to try dying in the same way to see if the Primarch could truly bring him back to life.

He finally managed to subdue the person.

"full!"

Damn it, a fool wouldn't take advantage of a good deal.

Compared to Logan's caution, Bjorn seemed quite indifferent.

The Primarch should kill him; if he lives, it's a bonus. What more could you ask for?

If the other party truly comes with malicious intent, then the moment of the wolf is about to arrive, and Ruth will inevitably return.

It's profitable anyway.

But just as Bjorn followed Logan out of the banquet hall and arrived at Wolf Fang Fortress, where the wolf priests usually honed their medical skills, Arthur was already standing on the operating table.

On the table is a wolf priest who has lost most of his body.

"."

Logan immediately looked at Ramses to the side.

"He asked Arthur, and Arthur agreed, and that's how it was."

Ramses gave a brief explanation of the reasons.

"I'm sorry to have made you laugh."

Logan said solemnly.

"It's nothing, it's all fatherly love."

Ramses then waved his hand magnanimously.

"He can be saved."

"On behalf of Space Wolves, I apologize to you!"

Logan immediately bowed, then his gloomy old face swept over everyone.

All the wolf priests instinctively looked away, appearing guilty.

What's unique to the Wolf Pack is their ability to always confuse you about something.

"Claude, you stay here with the elder."

He called out a name—an apprentice who couldn't participate in the decision-making process—and then addressed the rest:

"The rest of you, come with me!"

Led by the alpha wolf, the wolf priests obediently followed behind and left.

Before long, the sounds of heavy objects striking flesh and strange wails could be faintly heard from outside the door.

"Awooohoohoohoo—"

P.S.: There will be more tonight, starting after 11 PM. Everyone, go to sleep early.
