Chapter 242 Dawn Star Sector

Chapter 242 Dawn Star Sector
The full-scale military operation against the nobles of the Dawn Sector in 753 officially ended five months later.

The Wings of Dawn officially established their dominance in the Dawn Sector.

The number of civil servants from the Church of Dawn and the Star Sector Government Headquarters expanded rapidly, while at the same time, the reconstruction of the entire Star Sector was in full swing.

In fact, many factions, such as the Cult of Mechanics and members of nobles from other star sectors, were preparing to watch the show, since they had never seen how the people of the Empire survived outside their jurisdiction.

But soon, they were dumbfounded.

Construction teams, comprised of 'unknown' technicians—the same technicians trained by the Dark Angels and Caul's subordinates—began to appear in various corners of the sector, building industrial facilities on the original Imperial worlds and repairing production lines left over from the Dark Ages.

The feudal and agricultural worlds, on the other hand, saw development, with the development of animal husbandry and agriculture—once considered luxuries in the empire—for trade.

As for the hive worlds, the sector government used unknown methods to transform each hive world, greatly reducing planetary environmental pollution. The efficient response and the intervention of a powerful government have also begun to reduce the number of people who have been stranded in the hives.

As the government of the Dawn Star District gradually began to operate, the planets ravaged by war began to recover rapidly and in an orderly manner.

More and more planets are entering a network controlled by a unified government, and the average standard of living is gradually rising, followed by frequent logistics and trade.

Just as the Cult of Mechanics was trying to get a share of the pie by offering to help build various types of shipyards, a series of new shipyards followed.

These shipyards supply not the sector government navy, but the Charter Fleet.

These fleets, built with the Tau Empire's faster-than-light travel technology, require no warp engines or navigators and are faster than the Empire's original conventional engines.

Even though these types of engines cannot be installed on smaller ships due to their size, this is not a drawback, because the Charter Fleet's ships are already enormous due to the need to transport large amounts of supplies.

While coordinating logistics, the sector government also issued a large number of charter fleet licenses for private trade, which is a necessary means to strengthen ties between sectors and promote commercial prosperity.

That is, all the star sectors adjacent to the Dawn Star Sector have ushered in development.

After all, aside from the growth in sector productivity and logistics capabilities, the elite Astartes and their auxiliary forces, controlled by the Primarch, have never ceased their purges of hostile forces from various Empires. This universe is never short of military operations that require your participation.

The entire Dawn Sector has entered a relatively stable phase.

Moreover, after centralizing power, the Dawn Sector did not become closed off; in fact, it welcomed trade from other sectors and provided necessary and stable supplies to the Imperial Navy, Astartes, the Astrail Force, and other Imperial armed forces.

Compared to most critical moments that require forced requisition, the Dawn Sector always manages to provide what they need.

In just a few years, the various imperial fleets patrolling the surrounding area also preferred to come to the Dawn Sector to open up supply planets for them to resupply, which in turn further boosted logistics and trade.

A waterway through which warships pass is a mobile defensive line, and its security is more attractive to imperial merchants.

Therefore, the anticipated conflict did not erupt; instead, the two sides became increasingly close as their communication intensified.

It's something that many people find strange now.

Where did they get so many civil servants?
Where did they get such comprehensive technology?
How did they manage to maintain stable communication between different planets?
Where do they get the energy to control the operation of each planet with such precision?
"Of course it's AI, otherwise how could Lao Luo's brain possibly calculate a thousand planets?"

In response to Karna's question, Ramses put down the cola.

"You guys are really daring to use that."

Karna and Ramses walked side by side after Karna had just finished the first round of grassroots research.

Karna was unaware of this, and the operation of each planet was basically reliant on human labor. With the cooperation of Astartes, things were actually quite smooth.

However, most of them only need to conduct statistics, report them through the now stable interplanetary communication system, and then the star sector government makes the decisions.

The calculations are performed using AI, while the decision-making is handled by civil servants in various government departments.

The Pioneer Galaxy is still called that in honor of the Preservers.

This galaxy is in a very good position, situated on the edge of a large, yet-to-be-unfolded rift, with abundant black rocks, making it extremely stable.

As the current capital of the sector, Pioneer III, also known as Dawn, is now the location of the sector government.

"What's there to be afraid of? Besides, we're being very cautious. Only this one planet has AI; it's useless on other planets. We just sent more Astartes to the Nest City."

Ramses didn't care at all.

If an ordinary imperial power were to use some heretical technology, it would be very cowardly. If it's not careful, it will be exposed, and then various forces will come to send it to its death.

However, time travelers don't need to worry about these issues at all.

Of course, if they were ordinary Space Marines, or traveling merchants, sector governors, or anything like that, they'd be too scared to act now. But there's no way around it; they're Primarchs now.

Ramses looked out the window and saw the Dawnwing emblem surrounded by laurel wreaths in the most magnificent plaza of Dawnstar, below which were statues of the four Primarchs.

Two of them concealed their personalities and did not show their faces, but the imperial citizens who came to pay their respects were still numerous.

Because the armor covering the statue's body was worn by the original.

The Dawnwings' greatest advantage is that they have embraced the identity of the 'Primarch,' a status that holds extremely high prestige within the entire Empire. This naturally gives them a strong sense of belonging to the state religion, the Astartes, and a large number of the Empire's citizens.

Therefore, it is difficult for the Inquisition and the Mechanicus to directly condemn such a 'Primarch' force as heretical, especially since they can lead everyone to common prosperity.

They haven't even taken their swords to Luoyang yet, what's the panic?

"So why did you call me back this time?"

Karna asked, "I still prefer to look around."

During the period following the end of the internal cleansing war, he wandered around the star sector, traveling with his angelic offspring from Gaul III to Astorgius, from the nameless planet to the now prosperous Dawn Star, leaving his footprints throughout the Dawn Starfield.

Compared to the politics and glory he despised, he cared more about the trivial matters that those people considered insignificant.

For example, environmental changes on those planets, reduced resource waste due to improved government efficiency, and whether people's living standards have improved.

That's because you don't have to work.

Ramses couldn't help but spit out a mouthful of saliva at Karna.

"Ordinary enemies pose no threat to you now. You don't have to get up at seven or eight o'clock every day to go to work in the factory under the foreman's command, nor do you have to wear heavy protective gear to weld steel plates in the foundry. All you do is watch. Of course, this kind of life is comfortable."

During this time, Romulus was constantly updating the 'Lingling' online office platform. He was almost driven crazy by government affairs, and he also had to conduct research on subspace.

Thankfully, this trip didn't require him to rush through the Eye of Fear, otherwise he would have had to work on the topic of seizing the power of death and a series of contingency plans regarding activities in the subspace.

"Well, I do other things besides fighting."

Faced with his resentful companion, Karna couldn't help but retort.

"That's true. Without you always wandering around outside, we wouldn't even know if the policy had been implemented."

Ramses stopped dwelling on this point, knowing he couldn't blame his allies who had been playing a crucial role all along.

"So what brings you back this time?"

Karna asked again.

"The internal production capacity has been streamlined."

Ramses looked up at the starport in the sky, where a massive fleet was gathering.

"Do you remember that we also needed to dock with those military node planets in the Misty Starfield?"

"What about Terra?"

Karna was taken aback.

"Terra—"

Ramses stroked his chin and recalled for a moment, then chuckled softly.

"I wish them good luck."
-
"So the Dawn Sector is planning to officially take over the supply operations for the various military planets in the Misty Starfield?"

For some reason, the Minister of the Interior breathed a sigh of relief despite it being a move by an already large imperial force to expand its influence.

After understanding the situation, he pulled his hand away from the document concerning the gene-stealing attack on Terra 9 and signed it.

"Let them go, the Ministry of the Interior will cooperate."

He said wearily.

P.S.: Details of the farming results will be revealed little by little as the story progresses. I think everyone doesn't want to see dry farming.
