Mystery: Big Alarm Clock Ghroth Path

Chapter 411 The Ghosts of Santander Einhorn

Chapter 411 The Ghost of Santander Einhorn
The reason Roger put a "celestial" talisman on his head was because he was worried that the "Desolate Matriarch" had been corrupted by the "Fallen Mother Goddess"—although he didn't know what kind of connection she had with the Church of the "Earth Mother Goddess," he thought it best to be cautious considering that she had lived on Koske Island for a long time without any supervision during that period.

Admittedly, a normal "Desolate Mother" cannot control "Boiling Water of Life," but if she is indeed corrupted by the "Fallen Mother Goddess," then things will be different.

Roger knew that he had long since become a thorn in the side of those ancient rulers outside the barrier, and given what he had done to the "Mother Tree of Desire," they were certainly trying every means to take revenge on him.

That is why Roger needs to guard against all possible traps—and the "celestial" talisman in his hand is one of his many backup plans.

First of all, this "Celestial" talisman is very different from the previous talismans. Although it is still a product of the "Primal Celestial Core", Roger prayed to himself and then responded to it during its creation. In this way, although the talisman can be activated automatically, its mystical source is Roger himself, who has become a Sequence 3 Saint and whose destiny is closely related to the "Primal Celestial Core".

This has two advantages. First, Roger can use it to dispel any potential contamination he may have suffered. Second, it prevents the "Fallen Mother Goddess" from using her "Chaos Primal Embryo" ability to partially activate the "Primal Core"—although this action itself cannot break through the remaining contamination of the "Key to the Gate," it will inevitably have some degree of attenuation.

For Roger now, the contamination of the "Key to the Gate" is a precious commodity that diminishes with every use, and he will absolutely not allow the seal to fade in any way unless absolutely necessary.

Even if "Boiling Water of Life" is captured by the "Desolate Matriarch", Roger can still sever the connection between the two parties in time under the awakening of the "Celestial" spell, thus minimizing his losses.

Soon, "Boiling Water with Life" entered the fourth level of the Angel's Tomb, and as soon as it entered, it witnessed a scene that made Roger's scalp tingle.

The fourth floor is even more spacious than the third floor. The floor of this floor is carved with many pictures related to "mother", and in the center there is a stone coffin.

The coffin showed no signs of being moved, nor was there a visible corpse, but the truly strange thing was not the coffin itself.

Beside the coffin, a grayish-white phantom was crouching, dressed in a long, elaborately patterned, and extremely luxurious-looking dress.

This was clearly a tall woman. "Boiling Water of Life" could be seen that her smooth, flowing hair was neatly combed and was now obediently resting on her shoulders. Her hands were also very beautiful, with slender fingers as white as scallions, which were now wrapped around the shoulders of the shadowy figure.

No matter how you looked at her, she appeared to be a dignified and gentle woman, but at this moment, she was constantly sobbing, and the words she uttered made Roger feel that they were twisted and strange.

"No, no, my placenta is hot... It's empty! It's all gone!"

"He's gone, and my children are gone too..."

"Give me back my children! Sew all the breathing ones back into my body..."

"Everything that is alive, that moves... will become my child..."

"It doesn't hurt...it doesn't hurt...Mommy will share her heartbeat with you now..."

Upon hearing these words, Roger immediately had a feeling.

That is, the "Desolate Matriarch" has a very serious mental problem. She seems to be feeling resentful because the monsters and evil spirits she created using "Life Alchemy" have been killed. At this moment, she has touched the edge of losing control.

Normally, even if an angel becomes an evil spirit, He should still be concerned about His greatest obsession in life. From all perspectives, the "Desolate Matriarch" should be most concerned about the angel of the Einhorn family, that is, His companion.

But the current situation is clearly different. Compared to the "weather sorcerer," He seems to be more concerned about the alchemical monsters He has refined over the past thousand years.

Not only does He refer to them as His “children,” He also seems to have completely confused the connection between the images of “life-making” and “birth,” which looks exactly like something that has been corrupted by the “fallen Mother Goddess.”

This directly led to Him seemingly forgetting His original intention of protecting His partner. In this light, even if a real member of the Einhorn family came to retrieve the remains of the "weather sorcerer," they would most likely be subjected to indiscriminate attacks by the "Desolate Matriarch."

"It seems my caution was absolutely necessary... I just don't know how this contamination got in? Did it come through Christopher's flesh and blood, or purely through occult similarities?"
“By the way, Red Moon… Come to think of it, it might not be Christopher’s fault. I should have thought of that earlier.”

As Roger was pondering, the "living boiling water" he was controlling suddenly saw the "Desolate Matriarch" turn her head and look at him.

It was a beautiful, distorted, but also extremely crazed woman's face, which seemed to have been scratched and bled from extreme pain.

When He saw the "boiling water with life," He was immediately swept away by a frenzy of emotion.

"My child... let me sew you into my belly, okay?"

Roger cursed inwardly. The next second, he saw the "Desolate Matriarch" almost turn into a gust of wind and rush toward the "Boiling Water with Life" with a frenzied expression!

The explosion created by the "Celestial Body" spell resounded in Roger's mind, keeping him conscious. Without thinking, he severed his connection with the "living boiling water" and began to gasp for breath.

"What's wrong, Captain?"

Lindsay looked a little nervous and asked.

"What a crazy woman."

Roger stood up and couldn't help but curse.

In the last second before he broke free from sharing vision with "Boiling Water with Life," he clearly saw the abdomen of the "Desolate Mistress" open like a pitcher plant, attempting to completely envelop "Boiling Water with Life."

This bizarre and grotesque scene solidified Roger's resolve. He decided not to reason with the "Desolate Matriarch" but instead to eliminate her directly through "Pale Death"!
After all, judging from the outcome, the "Desolate Matriarch" should already possess the status of a "Fallen Mother Goddess," and has the ability to refine products that have also been refined and activated by the status of a "Fallen Mother Goddess." Leaving this thing here is purely a time bomb.

Given that the Angelic Cemetery on Koske Island has now been opened, if Roger does not take effective measures, this large area of the sea will likely become a dead zone.

After this decision was made, the remaining considerations were technical.

If nothing unexpected happens, "Boiling Water with Life" has already been successfully captured by the "Desolate Mistress" and turned into her "child". Therefore, Roger needs to act decisively and not give her another chance to transform him into a puppet. He must eliminate her with "Pale Death" as soon as possible.

Without hesitation, Roger first created a flesh and blood golem with the ability of "mystical manifestation" and gave it "Pale Death". Then he had Lindsay release a dense barrage of fire crows into the tomb!

As the flesh golem regained its "apprentice" abilities, it rapidly plummeted into the fourth level of the Angelic Cemetery.

Upon entering the fourth level, it saw the "Desolate Matriarch" enraged by the fire crows that automatically tracked it and attacked it and its newly acquired "children".

Before He could react, the flesh puppet used "Pale Death" again!
Pain descended swiftly, and the steps of the "Desolate Matriarch," who was preparing to break through to the third level to attack Lindsay, suddenly slowed down.

His spirit began to weather away and turn pale, and a look of terror finally appeared on his face.

"No, no... my child..."

He instinctively embraced the "living boiling water" in his arms, completely enveloping it, and then gradually transformed into a stone sculpture.

A cold wind blew, and the "Desolate Matriarch" and the flesh puppet quickly faded and were banished to the underworld, leaving only "Boiling Water with Life" standing blankly in place.

Roger breathed a sigh of relief upon receiving the news and wiped the sweat from his brow.

"That was close, we almost let Him reach the third level."

In any case, the mad "Desolate Matriarch" has finally been eliminated, which means that Roger no longer has to worry about the persistent "Life Transformation" artifact revolving around him. All he needs to do next is to reclaim the "0" level seal formed by the other party, and the danger to this mausoleum will be reduced by more than half.

After all, compared to the relatively straightforward ability of the "Weather Wizard," the ability of the "Mother" pathway angel is completely unpredictable. For them, who have the ability to create life forms out of thin air, the upper limit of their imagination and madness is basically the upper limit of their combat power.

"Let's go."

Roger took a deep breath. After using "Dark Foresight" to make a judgment, he determined that there was no longer any danger in the space below that could pose a substantial threat to a demigod at Sequence 4. Only then did he lead Bandit and Lindsay to jump down to the fourth level.

Upon landing, Roger immediately shut off the "Boiling Water with Life" again. Because he was unsure if the thing posed any dangers, Roger needed to conduct repeated checks on it before he could let his guard down.

"Captain, there's a coffin over there."

Upon hearing Lindsay's words, Roger nodded slightly:
“I know, the sealed artifact should be inside.”

Roger then used "gravity" from a great distance to lift the heavy coffin lid.

The corpse and clothing inside the coffin had long since decomposed, leaving only a skeleton and a sapphire pendant on the skeleton's chest.

Even before getting close, Roger could sense the angelic aura contained within the sapphire pendant. Unlike the "Silver Mirror," this aura was extremely dangerous, seemingly capable of turning any creature that approached it into a captive of the pendant.

However, since the evil spirit had disappeared, the sapphire pendant's living properties were greatly weakened, so Roger was no longer as afraid as before.

Just to be on the safe side, Roger activated the "Silver Mirror" once again, using it to boost his luck and prevent the instantaneous "Life Alchemy." After making preparations, he walked straight toward the pendant.

After Roger finally approached the sapphire pendant without encountering any danger, he breathed a sigh of relief and then began to analyze the pendant's various attributes, side effects, and sealing conditions using the secret ritual of the "Key of the Gate."

Soon, a lot of information flooded into his mind.

The "Desolate Matriarch" was originally named Eka Carlisle. She was a saint who defected from the Church of the Earth Mother during the Fourth Age and eventually ascended to the Sequence 2 "Desolate Matriarch" with the help of members of the Einhorn family.

The sealed artifact formed after her death has two main functions: first, it can improve the natural environment; second, it can transform living and non-living things into true living beings through "life alchemy".

This transformation even includes turning ordinary undead into evil spirits, and the soul of the former Aikka Carlisle was preserved by his own power, which is why he became an evil spirit wandering in this fourth level, guarding the mausoleum.

Not only Him, but also the "weather sorcerer" on the fifth floor was in the same situation.

In addition, this pendant is indeed tainted by the "fallen mother goddess".

However, compared to "Amra's Guidance", the degree of erosion is less, and most of it exists within Aika's spirit. At this time, His spirit has been destroyed by "Pale Death", so the pollution in the sapphire pendant has also been reduced to a relatively low level.

As for the side effects of this sealed artifact, there is a 50% chance that it will distort and modify any life forms that appear within a 50-kilometer radius, turning them into puppets under its control.

This refining process is evaluated every 30 seconds. If all living organisms have been transformed, it will begin refining inanimate matter, from metals and soil to rocks, all of which will become objects of this indiscriminate "life-transforming" process.

There is only one way to seal it: to confine it in a void space where there is absolutely no matter around it. And Roger happens to know of such a place.

It's nothing else but the emptiness of the Boötes constellation!

That space was unimaginably large, perfectly meeting the requirements for sealing the pendant!
With that in mind, Roger no longer hesitated.

He temporarily placed Bandit and Lindsay inside the "Old Box" for protection, and then "recreated" a tiny black shadow connecting the hollow of Boötes, just big enough to hold Aika's pendant.

As the shadow closed rapidly, Roger finally breathed a sigh of relief.

"That way, there will be no problem."

He released Bandit and Lindsay again, and then said:
"Finally, only the last layer remains. Once we resolve this, the matter on Koske Island can be put to rest."

Roger took a deep breath and then began to look around, searching for the entrance to the fifth floor.

To his surprise, the entrance was very well hidden, and even Roger and Lindsay couldn't find it for a while when they searched together.

"Roger, look here."

Suddenly, Bandit's voice came over.

Roger looked in the direction of the sound and saw Bandit crouching on the ground, pointing with his paw at a circular groove.

"There seems to be a water tank under this groove. Should we drip some liquid into it?"

"liquid?"

Roger raised an eyebrow and followed Bandit's gaze, indeed seeing a groove.

The groove had a small slope and connected to a backflow channel below, seemingly allowing some liquid to be guided down by gravity.

Roughly speaking, this groove can hold about 20 milliliters of liquid.

"This doesn't involve drainage issues... Could it be that they need the blood of the Einhorn family descendants?"

Roger frowned. After a quick divination and astrological analysis, he found that this was indeed the case.

This gave him a headache. He didn't know any descendants of the Einhorn family, so where should he go to get his blood drawn?

Because the Einhorn family is the royal family of the current Fussac Empire, Roger could not simply rush to the Fussac Palace to force them to hand over their blood—even if they were defeated in the war, their family still had angels protecting them.

Unless Roger is tired of living, he wouldn't actually do something so suicidal. Putting aside whether he's an angel or not, the high-level guard forces within Fussac's army and the palace are not something he would willingly confront.

"Perhaps we could look for their descendants who are still living among the common people... but I don't know where these descendants are."

Roger suddenly felt a headache coming on. After thinking it over, he felt that the only way might be to go to the Church of the God of War.

As the most powerful Extraordinary organization in the Fussac Empire besides the royal family, they would certainly have a way to help Roger find the descendants of the Einhorn family who had been living among the common people.

Considering that the Grand Patriarch of the "God of War" Church has disappeared and the entire church has been effectively controlled by the "Goddess of Night" Church, Roger still needs to find the higher-ups of the "Goddess of Night" Church.

As it happened, Roger had originally planned to ask Lady Ariana, the "Secret Servant," for a drop of blood, so he could do both things at the same time.

For matters of this level, he couldn't possibly go to Archbishop Fula Jenkins, whom he knew very well, but instead had to pray directly to the "Goddess of Night".

Although both Ariana and Fura were members of the Divine Council, their symbolic differences were enormous.

This is not merely a difference in the hierarchy between angels and saints, but also because, compared to the "fearful bishops" who are still demigods, angels are truly divine beings.

The title "Hidden Servant" alone reveals the relationship between Ariana and the "Goddess of Night," meaning that Roger needed the Goddess of Night's consent if he wanted her help.

With this in mind, Roger decided to temporarily evacuate the angelic tomb with Lindsay and Bandit, and then return after he had made contact with the Church of the Goddess of Night.

This process won't take long, but it's a necessary step.

After Roger, Bandit, and Lindsay briefly explained the current situation, they expressed their understanding.

Roger then left an avatar with the ability to "reveal secrets" to maintain the "secret" status of the entire third level of the mausoleum, while he himself took Lindsay and Bandit and temporarily retreated to Koske Island.

Upon seeing Roger and the others return, everyone who had been waiting outside gathered around them.

"Sir, how is it?"

Chief Kesk looked at Roger with concern and asked:
"The first four levels of the mausoleum have been cleaned, but the last level is a bit troublesome."

Roger shook his head, then looked up at the increasingly gloomy sky.

"Is the fog getting thicker?"

he asked.

"Yes, just about fifteen minutes ago."

Chief Kesk nodded.

Roger had previously cleared away the "fog of war" inside the mausoleum by using Vladimir Kassienov's ritual to commemorate the origin of "war," but the "fog of war" outside was not addressed.

Because the seal corresponding to the extraordinary characteristics of the "Desolate Matriarch" left behind by Aika Carlisle was removed, the power suppressing the war fog of the "Weather Wizard" also completely disappeared. This not only led to the expansion of the fog's range and further obscuring of the spirit world and the astral plane, but also directly led to the emergence of a new situation.

That is, if your strength level is not at the level of an angel, you cannot even leave this place by teleportation!

But Roger remained remarkably calm in the face of this situation.

Because compared to ordinary extraordinary individuals who are skilled at traversing the spirit world, he has another way to ensure his arrival in the spirit world.

That is, through the penetrating effect of the "Primal Core", it directly descended upon the bone desert opened up by the "De La Hoya Giant Rat"!
Using the Bone Desert as a springboard, Roger could easily travel to any place.

The same principle applies to his return, because he had already created a map of this area within the "Original Dynamic Core" when he arrived earlier, so Roger was able to accurately find the corresponding coordinates of the Spirit Realm.

After that, he only needed to use the "Primal Core" as an anchor to return; in a sense, this source material replaced the spirit world's locating function in this process. "How are those outsiders doing?"

As he spoke, Roger looked at Ophina and Alice.

"Fortunately."

Alice nodded.
"Aside from seeing that we were overly excited, there was nothing else unusual."

"Some of them couldn't stand the strange atmosphere of the Kork Islands and chose to commit suicide, a very small number of the rest went insane, but the vast majority were normal."

“These people have been on Koske Island for less than a year, and their will to survive hasn’t been completely extinguished. Food is relatively easy to find in this area… If we hadn’t come, they probably could have lived for another two years without any problem.”

"That's fine."

Roger nodded with satisfaction. He had only come here to rescue people as a side thing, and he hadn't expected to find any survivors here. Hearing Alice say this was somewhat beyond his expectations.

“I’ll be leaving for a little while, probably about a day. If you need anything, just have Philip pray for me.”

After briefly explaining the various precautions, Roger used the "Primal Core" to travel to the Dela Hoya Giant Rat's Bone Desert, and then used it as a springboard back to 15 Minsk Street.

He solemnly arranged the necessary materials for the ritual magic, such as Night-blooming Jasmine and Deep Sleep Flower essential oil, on the table, and then began to pray to the "Goddess of Night":

"The goddess of the night, more sublime than the stars, more enduring than eternity, the mother of secrets, the queen of calamities and fears, the lord of slumber and silence!"

“I, Roger Abraham, request your attention.”

"..."

During the subsequent prayer, Roger mentioned that he needed 20 milliliters of blood from a descendant of the Einhorn family, as well as the blood of an angel from a "dark" pathway.

Although he knew that "Goddess of the Night" Amanisis was most likely watching him, Roger still explained in a serious manner what he needed these things for, as well as the whole story.

This serves two purposes: firstly, to show respect, and secondly, to lay the groundwork for future actions and avoid having to resort to last-minute scrambling when one needs the goddess's help later.

Just as Roger was finishing his prayer, he suddenly vaguely heard an elegant and detached female voice:
"Tonight we're going to Wintershire to find the Church of Tranquility."

Upon hearing this, Roger's heart tightened. This was the first time the "Goddess of Night" had directly answered his prayer instead of responding by directly bestowing power upon him.

"Praise the goddess!"

Roger solemnly said that after thanking the goddess repeatedly, he withdrew from the ritual magic.

In any case, with the goddess's personal guarantee, Roger was not afraid of not getting the two portions of blood he needed.

In this way, Roger was not only able to enter the final level of the "Weather Wizard's" tomb, but also essentially collected three of the four types of angelic blood required for his advancement.

After that, he can officially begin preparing to capture the angels of the "Eternal Whisper" pathway!
During this time, Roger frequently monitored the Great Old Ones around Earth through the Martian perspective of the "Primal Core," thus confirming that the "Unquenchable Whisper" was indeed accompanied by two "Great Old Ones."

For some unknown reason, when Roger first went to the stars, these two angels were not with "The Unending Whisper," and their return times were very unpredictable, as if they were helping the Great Old One with something in outer space.

Therefore, Roger needed to devise a comprehensive and meticulous plan, and after confirming in advance that the two angels were indeed within the solar system, he would then take action to capture at least one of them.

After regaining his composure, Roger stood up. Before it got dark, he went to Harold's Department Store to buy some local snacks and gifts for the people of Koske. Then, as night fell, he teleported to a mountainous area in Wintershire.

Before Roger stood a towering, black Gothic church with a pointed spire, nestled in a snow-covered mountainside. It covered a vast area, with a precipice in front of it. The entire area was blanketed in snow and utterly silent.

This is the headquarters of the Church of the Goddess of Night, the Tranquil Church, which is also respectfully called the "Sanctuary" by those within the church!
At this moment, the doors of the sanctuary were tightly shut, and only a woman stood silently at the entrance.

Her features were extremely ordinary, and her dark eyes were no different from those of a normal person. However, just seeing her brought Roger a great sense of peace and tranquility to his heart.

Her clothes were very simple, without the gorgeous clerical attire, just a simple linen robe with patched marks, a belt made of twisted bark tied around her waist, her long black hair cascading down freely, and her feet were barefoot and covered with dust and scars.

Roger quickly walked up to the lady, took off his wide-brimmed hat, and gave her a respectful bow.

"Greetings, Lady Ariana."

The woman who had been standing there at some unknown time was the abbess of the Night Monastery under the Church of the Goddess of Night, the head of the thirteen archbishops, a member of the Divine Council, and the "secret servant" who served the Goddess of Night, Amanisis.

He is a Sequence 2 earthly angel, Ariana!

Upon seeing Roger, Ariana smiled and nodded slightly.

"Nice to meet you, Your Excellency Abraham."

"It is my honor. I never expected you to come in person."

Roger answered.

Ariana didn't say anything more, but instead took out a black, exquisite sandalwood box engraved with the Dark Holy Symbol from her person.

"What you need is in here."

"Thank you, Your Excellency Ariana."

Having said that, Roger drew a dark holy symbol on his chest and then spoke:

"Praise the goddess!"

Then he looked at Ariana, but the "Hidden Servant" had disappeared without him noticing.

If Roger hadn't still been holding the box, he might have even doubted whether what he had just seen was a hallucination or a vision caused by the power of a high-sequence "Nightmare".

Roger took a deep breath, bowed slightly to the "Church of Tranquility," then turned around and walked toward the cliff.

Once he had completely left the area of the Church of Tranquility, Roger used his "teleportation" ability again to return to Koske Island.

"Did you two catch any fish?"

As soon as Roger landed, he saw Zeus and Dionysius sitting on the shore not far away, eating jerky and drinking beer while fishing with fishing rods.

Bandit, meanwhile, sat beside Zeus, gazing with great interest at the ripples on the sea.

Upon hearing Roger's voice, both Zeus and Dionysius spat out their beer with a "pfft".

They hurriedly dropped their fishing rods, stood up, and turned to greet Roger:

"Good day, Captain!"

Just as they were about to explain that they had already completed the tasks Roger had assigned and were not deliberately slacking off, Roger spoke up:

"The fish is served."

After saying that, Roger actually used the "puppet's" ability to pull Dionysius's fishing rod from a distance, pulling a mist sea bass that was nearly half a meter long out of the sea.

"Clap!"

As the bass landed on the sea surface, it began to bounce repeatedly.

Bandit quickly grabbed the fish and picked it up, and Roger laughed as well.

"It's okay. It's perfectly normal to relax after work. Just make sure you balance work and leisure."

Upon hearing Roger's words, Dionysius and Zeus both breathed a sigh of relief.

They knew that Roger had never interfered much with the crew's private lives outside of work, but being caught by him suddenly was still a nerve-wracking experience.

"Thank you Captain."

Roger waved his hand upon hearing this, and then asked:
Where is Lindsay?

"Reporting to the captain, Lindsay and Philip are helping the Koskes repair their leaky houses, and they should be almost done by now."

Upon hearing this, Roger nodded slightly, then took flight again, heading towards Lindsay's location.

Roger soon returned to the heart of the Koske tribe, where he saw Lindsay descending a simple wooden ladder, surrounded by a group of Koske children and girls with fervent eyes.

"Thanks for your hard work."

Roger patted Lindsay on the shoulder and said.

"There's nothing I can do. These kids keep pestering me to tell them about the mid-sequence hunters... but I don't really know much about it either."

Lindsay scratched her head awkwardly and whispered:
"As compensation, I asked Philip to help them fix up their house, and that's it."

Upon hearing Lindsay's words, Roger nodded, and then added:

"Take a short rest, have something to eat, and then come with me to the next mausoleum."

"Captain, you found the bloodline of the Einhorn family so quickly?"

Lindsay's eyes widened. He had thought Roger wouldn't be back until the next day, but he hadn't expected him to be so efficient.

"Yes, I sought help from a third party."

Roger nodded, but he didn't explain who the third party he sought help from was, only mentioning it briefly.

"Yes, Captain."

Lindsay nodded slightly. He immediately went to the "Fear" ship to get a chicken cutlet rice and a bottle of light beer, then found a rock to sit on and eat.

After they had eaten and drunk their fill, Roger once again took Lindsay and Bendit with him. The two of them and the cat used Roger's "Traveler" teleportation ability to return to the fourth floor of the "Weather Wizard's" tomb.

At this moment, the place was once again shrouded in the "fog of war." If Roger hadn't deliberately enhanced his memory before leaving, they wouldn't even have been able to find the exact location of the groove.

Roger opened the ebony box that Ariana had given him, took out the blood of the Einhorn family descendant from the top layer, and then poured the blood into the circular groove.

Just as he had previously determined, the groove was indeed prepared for receiving blood.

The blood flowed rapidly down the groove, and soon Roger heard a crisp "crack" sound from not far away.

The two people and the cat turned their heads at the same time and saw that a stone slab had been flipped up at some point, revealing a downward passage.

The passage was very narrow, allowing only one person to pass at a time.

"Roger, what do we do?"

Bandit glanced at Roger and asked:

"Your flesh and blood reserves should be almost depleted, right?"

The cat's implication is that Roger used the flesh puppets multiple times without retrieving them in time, so he shouldn't have the resources to create any more puppets now.

"It's ok."

Roger shook his head and got up to walk towards the fifth floor.

As long as the seal left by "Desolate Matriarch" Eka Carlisle is temporarily sealed, he will no longer be afraid of even the evil spirit with the "Weather Sorcerer" on the fifth floor.

Because what he now needs to face is a remnant soul of an angel that lacks complete power and whose body has already decayed. As long as the two Sequence 2 level seals do not interact, any one of the Sequence 2 level seals on Roger's body can allow him to control that "weather sorcerer".

Most importantly, he discovered that on the last level of this mausoleum, there was none of the "fog of war" that was everywhere outside. Instead, under the firelight, he could even see the dust drifting on the fifth level.

All of this suggests that the layer where the "weather wizard" lies do not have many defensive mechanisms.

Roger walked down the stairs step by step. The fifth floor was surprisingly dry to him, with no foul smell and no dampness like the floors above.

He quickly stepped onto solid ground. This fifth level had many square pillars, on which were still engraved some events from the lives of the Einhorn family angels, which made Roger stop in his tracks.

Just as he saw the angel named Santander Einhorn on the fifth pillar being promoted to Sequence 4 Saint, he suddenly turned around and looked at a phantom behind him.

The illusory figure was a middle-aged man with short hair very similar to that of Archduke Andrea William Einhorn, but his eyes were much calmer and wiser than those of the hotheaded Andrea.

"Santander Einhorn?"

Roger tentatively spoke.

Upon hearing Roger's words, the man nodded slightly and uttered a deep, resonant voice:

"it's me."

Then He asked in doubt:
"You're not from the Einhorn family, how did you get here?"

"It's a long story."

Roger shrugged. Seeing that the other party could communicate normally, he relaxed a little.

While communicable evil spirits are certainly dangerous, they are far less troublesome than the crazed Eka Carlisle. At least Roger could obtain some information from him and negotiate some things with him.

In a way, this is somewhat similar to the "Red Angel" evil spirit.

"I can listen to you."

Santander Einhorn remained surprisingly calm. He walked straight up to Roger and asked:

"Was it Amon who gave you my spirit urn?"

"how do you know?"

Roger paused for a moment, then asked.

He had initially thought that the "Einhorn family's spirit urn" was something Amon had acquired from somewhere, but now it seemed that it wasn't that simple.

"really……"

Santander sighed, then said:
"You don't need to be nervous. If it's as you say, I expected this to happen."

Santander looked around and then pointed to a nearby stone platform:
"If you're tired, you can sit here and listen to me slowly."

Roger chuckled upon hearing this. Without standing on ceremony, he nodded and sat down next to Santander.
