Chapter 364 Xiao An's Diary

Chapter 364 Xiao An's Diary
When they learned that Bethel the Great Demon King was finally going out and would not have classes in the afternoon, Abraham's younger generation was overjoyed.

But this joy was quickly extinguished by the test papers Bethel handed out before leaving.

Looking at the exam papers in their hands, which they would likely never finish writing by evening, Abraham's younger generation could only grit their teeth and pick up their pens.

After Bethel and Rowling left the school, they heard a series of wailing sounds coming from the house behind them.

Clearly, it was the Abrahams who had gone mad from studying during that period.

"Is it really necessary to be so strict with them?" Even Rowling, after witnessing the knowledge hell that Abraham and his followers had experienced during this period, felt a rare pang of conscience.

It's really tragic. These kids are working harder than he did when he was in high school.

“Their foundation is too weak, and they’ve become overly arrogant because of my return. If we don’t properly curb their temper, causing trouble isn’t the main problem; the main problem is that they’re likely to ruin themselves.” Bethel shook his head and said, then smiled and added:
"Don't worry, I don't plan to keep them under pressure like this forever. I understand the importance of balancing work and rest. Once their tempers have calmed down, I will reduce their study burden accordingly."

Bethel wasn't the kind of person who believed in studying to death if you couldn't learn something. If it were Abraham's younger generation, although He would also assign heavy learning tasks, it wouldn't be this exaggerated.

The main reason Bethel is doing this is because with His return, Abraham's younger generation has become arrogant and overconfident. If this mentality is not curbed, it is easy for problems to arise.

After all, in the realm of mysticism, beginners can easily bring themselves to fail, especially those who only have a superficial understanding but think they're incredibly knowledgeable; they're basically doomed every time they make a mistake.

The younger generation of the Abraham family, to put it bluntly, is currently in the aforementioned stage. They don't know much, but their mentality is extremely inflated, and they could easily ruin themselves if they're not careful.

Bethel saw this, so he chose to use the ocean of knowledge to temper their temperament. This would suppress their arrogance, allow them to learn more and develop a sense of awe, thus preventing them from engaging in reckless behavior, and also help these young people, whose foundation was indeed weak, to supplement their knowledge.

"It's good that you know what's going on." Rowling nodded, not offering any further opinions on the topic, since Abraham's matter was a family affair of Bethel.

And to be honest, in Rowling's eyes, Abraham's younger generation was like cabbages growing strong and healthy. Who would complain about cabbages getting better?
Because of their ability to create portals, Bethel and Rolin could easily reach the location of Sasriel and the others from Abraham with just a spatial portal.

As the two stepped out of the portal, Rolin's feet had barely touched the ground when he heard Antigonus's slightly anxious voice.

"Give it back! Give it back to me now!"

Lorin raised an eyebrow and looked over with a hint of curiosity. He saw Antigonus in human form trying to snatch something from Amon's hand. Judging from its appearance, it seemed to be a notebook.

"Take it back if you can!" Amon's voice rang out from a certain direction, and another Amon appeared, also holding a notebook. He even opened the notebook, cleared his throat, and began to read aloud:
"November 25th, sunny."

I haven't written in my diary for a long time, but starting today I've decided to resume this habit to commemorate my rebirth. I never imagined that I would be able to escape from being out of control and regain my senses in my lifetime.

"The Great Demon King saved me. He really likes my wolf form and treats me like a pet. What a strange guy. I'm the Angel King of the Fool's Path, but in his eyes, my abilities seem less useful than being a wolf. It's a bit frustrating..." Amon paused, glancing meaningfully at Rolin, who had just passed through the portal and was clearly watching the drama unfold, and smiled, saying, "Tsk, Antigonus, so Lucifer is the Great Demon King in your eyes, huh!"

Antigonus was dumbfounded. He looked at Amon, who was engrossed in reading his diary, and then cautiously glanced at the suddenly appearing Rolin. His form slowly changed, and in just a few seconds, he transformed back into a majestic demon wolf.

“Lord, I have sinned. I should not have been disrespectful to you in private…” the wolf said dejectedly. “But please believe me, I have no intention of being dissatisfied with you.”

Rowling glanced at him, then smiled and said in a teasing tone, "You and Fors probably have a lot in common."

He knew that Fors would privately call him the Great Demon King.

As for getting angry? Rowling isn't that petty.

Fors? Who?
Antigonus had obviously never heard of the name, but although he didn't know who Fors was, he understood Rolin's attitude and immediately breathed a sigh of relief.

The next second, Antigonus glanced at Amon not far away, and no one knows what he did, but that Amon clone exploded with a snap, and Antigonus's diary finally returned to his own hands.

"You're really grumpy, Xiao An. You're quite the fierce dog!" Amon's voice rang out again. He didn't care about the clone that had just exploded. He slowly raised his hand to push up his monocle and said with a sigh.

"That's purely because you're being a jerk!" Antigonus didn't mince words, rolling his eyes and speaking irritably.

"Ha!" Amon laughed upon hearing this. He looked at Antigonus and said slowly, "If someone doesn't hide the diary properly, then he can't blame me. After all, he's already here, and as the thief, I have no reason to leave empty-handed."

"You—" Antigonus was clearly even angrier, his breathing becoming heavier. He was not a particularly calm person to begin with, and having just experienced the social death of having his diary read aloud in public, he now only wanted to give Amon in front of him a good beating.

Tragically, Antigonus knew perfectly well that he was no match for him.

"Poor big dog." That wasn't all; while Antigonus was trying to control his anger, Amon even sighed, seemingly quite disappointed.

Antigonus: ...

Damn it (Black-faced Grass)! He really can't hold back anymore!
“Amon, after all these years, you’re still just as annoying.” Bethel, standing nearby, shook his head, finally unable to bear it any longer, and spoke up.

“I thought you knew, I’ve always been like this.” Amon showed no embarrassment whatsoever. He looked at Bethel with a leisurely air, seemingly not taking the furious Antigonus seriously at all, and simply said, “What, are you going to avenge the poor dog?”
