Chapter 353 The Three Gou Families' Angels Hold a Meeting

Amon was stunned for a moment, clearly not expecting that just by coming to eat melon seeds, he would be targeted.

Sasriel's eyes lit up slightly as he looked at Amon. Although he didn't say a word, his gaze was filled with obvious expectation.

“Yes, a full moon means it’s time for me to collect Bethel,” Rowling said matter-of-factly, his smile full of anticipation.

Amon wasn't surprised to hear this, but he raised his hand and pinched his monocle, his expression slightly complicated, as if he was thinking about something.

Antigonus seemed to have thought of something, and his expression also became complicated, but unlike Amon's, it was mainly one of sympathy.

Clearly, Antigonus was recalling the unbearable memories of being rescued.

Rolin glanced at the two of them, smiled and shook his head without saying anything. He simply looked at Sasriel, who was organizing the contents of today's discussion, and said, "Sasriel, I need to summon Bethel next, so I'll have to let you go back first."

“I think this scene is closer to the one when Tudor summoned us for a meeting back then,” Amon said with a smile.

"Then...who is the Blood Emperor?" Antigonus blinked and asked a crucial question. All three pairs of eyes turned to Rolin simultaneously.

"It's really sad. So, in your eyes, I'm a madman like the Blood Emperor?" Roland said, feigning sadness.

Amon looked up at him and smiled, saying, "Aren't you one?"

“Uh, I didn’t mean that,” Antigonus quickly shook his head, trying to clear himself of the blame.

After a moment's hesitation, Mr. Men said tactfully, "As far as I know, Tudor isn't as crazy as you. At least he wouldn't threaten the sun god with the destruction of the world." But the slight upturn of his lips betrayed that it was just a joke.

Upon hearing this, Rolin raised his eyes, his golden eyes sweeping over the three angels from the Gou family present. Then he revealed a bright smile and said, "If you're really looking forward to it, I can let you relive Tudor's iron fist. Although I'm not that good at fighting, I can call in reinforcements."

As everyone knows, the reason why Tudor was able to suppress the three angels under him back then was not because of anything else, but because of his iron fists. He would beat them if they disobeyed, and he managed to beat the three unruly guys into obedience.

“I don’t miss it that much.” Amon’s smile froze slightly. He knew very well that what Rolin said might be a joke to others, but it might be true to him.

His teacher never held back when it came to beating him; he would never let go of any opportunity that was justifiable to do so.

"Lord, I am innocent, none of this has anything to do with me!" Antigonus said, expressing that He did not want to be implicated by His two former colleagues.

Bethel paused, somewhat surprised, at the reactions of his two former colleagues. "I thought it was just a joke..."

He looked at Roland and asked for confirmation, "Isn't this a joke?"

"Of course it's a joke!" Rowling nodded. For Mr. Men, whom he always respected, it was naturally just a harmless joke.

Luo Lin glanced at Amon casually, and seeing that He wisely kept His eyes down, he clicked his tongue as he finished speaking.

Amon has been behaving well lately, and he hasn't had a chance to beat up the other guy. Sigh!
Amon: ...

Not at all surprising, but I could only manage a smile.

Since meeting Rolin, Amon has truly come to understand what it means to "pay the price for what you have done." Even though he has changed, because of what he did in the past, someone's desire to beat him up has never changed.
