Chapter 326 Adam's Creation and Sasriel

Chapter 326 Adam's Creation and Sasriel
"Hiss, you're suddenly acting so normal, I'm not used to it." Roland exclaimed dramatically, then couldn't help but laugh, saying, "But you're right, Sasriel is indeed very useful."

As he spoke, he glanced at Sasriel beside him and said jokingly, "After all, he is the vice-ruler of the Heavenly Kingdom, handpicked by the Sun God."

Sasriel's smile couldn't help but carry a hint of helplessness. Sometimes he felt that his life was miserable, first he was stuck with such a body, and then he met Rolin.

But what can be done?

The true creator's gaze also fell upon Sasriel. At this moment, it was hard to say what the true creator was thinking; He simply remained silent, meeting Sasriel's gaze.

“You haven’t done well.” After a two-second eye contact, Sasriel spoke, his voice not gentle but rather stern, “Especially in the last thousand years, you have been no different from the true fallen ones.”

The true Creator did not refute or defend anything; He simply said, "Therefore I need you. I must regain my senses for the sake of this world."

“I know, that’s why I’ve come,” said Sasriel. There was clearly some kind of tacit understanding between Him and the future true creator. Without saying more, both knew what the other was going to do.

The True Creator then looked at Medici, his aura softening slightly, and said, "Medici, how have you been lately?"

"It's alright. Apart from having worked overtime for 172 consecutive hours and feeling like I might suddenly die at any moment and become the first angel to die suddenly, I don't have any other problems." Medici's words were full of sarcasm.

The true creator seemed speechless for a moment. After a second of silence, He said, "It's alright. From now on, Sasriel will share your work, and you won't be so busy anymore."

This time it was Medici's turn to be speechless. He glanced at the True Creator with a look that was hard to tell whether he was speechless or helpless, but perhaps because he was facing his former faith, Medici ultimately said nothing and just shook his head.

The true Creator looked at Adam one last time, and Adam smiled and met His gaze.

"You have acquired humanity," the True Creator said, his tone resolute.

“I thought this was obvious,” Adam said with a faint smile. He looked at the true creator and suddenly said with a touch of emotion, “I never thought that our struggle over the years would end in this way.”

The true Creator remains undecided.

They all knew that the moment Sasriel was "given" to Rolin, it actually expressed the attitude of the sun god—He chose the sober and true creator, or rather, He chose Sasriel.

Although this is currently only a backup plan for the sun god's inability to return, it is enough to bring an end to the struggle between Adam and the true creator.

“This is the best choice,” the True Creator said.

“I know, I am you, I am Him, and I will not feel resentful about it.” Adam spoke calmly, then a hint of regret appeared on his face as he said, “It’s just a little regrettable that I finally understand human nature, but it seems to be of little use.”

Adam is always rational. Even though He has now acquired some humanity, His fundamental nature remains that of a rational Adam. Therefore, He will not feel any resentment towards the choice of the sun god.

But Adam did have some regrets; he finally understood human nature, but it came too late.

"Is this conversation a prelude to merging right now?" Roland couldn't help but ask, his expression filled with curiosity. "Of course not right now. That's the final plan. It's not the right time yet." Adam shook his head, then smiled and said, "I'm just a little moved after seeing the true Creator."

This doesn't sound like something Adam would say, but it makes perfect sense if we consider Adam as the imaginary angel from back then.

The true creator then said, "No, humanity will always be useful. Even if we merge, this humanity will become one of the most solid anchors for my future self."

His words were clearly a rebuttal to what Adam had just said.

Adam looked up at Him, a slightly complex emotion flashing in His golden eyes. He said, "I hope so."

After catching up on everything, Rowling naturally brought up the real reason for his arrival to the True Creator.

“A biological laboratory? Sure…” After thinking for a few seconds, the True Creator gave out a few coordinates and said, “These places have a lot of mutated monsters and are close to water sources, so they might be able to meet your requirements.”

Rolin noted down the coordinates, preparing to go and investigate in person later. Suddenly, he remembered something and glanced at Urolius beside him with a subtle expression.

"What's wrong?" Urolius looked at him in confusion.

“Ahem…” Rowling coughed before saying, “I’ve handed the biology lab over to Will for now. Urolius, you two better not fight.”

This is also why Rowling didn't initially consider establishing the biological laboratory in the Forsaken Land. After all, Will and Urolius are old enemies, and even with his mediation, they would still likely dislike each other.

Ulorus paused for a moment, thought for a moment, and then said seriously, "I will not take the initiative to fight Him, but if He attacks me, I will fight back."

"That's fine." Luo Lin nodded, feeling much relieved.

Based on his understanding of Will, this guy wasn't the type to actively seek trouble with Urolius, especially on the other's turf.

The only problem is that Will doesn't know about the change in the lab's location yet. Hmm, will he just abandon the project?

Rowling felt a headache coming on at the thought, but it wasn't a huge headache, since even if Will really quit, he could find someone else to take charge of the biological laboratory.

After chatting for a while, Rowling decided to set off to visit several potential locations. This time, he didn't bring many people with him, only Urolius, who was familiar with the terrain, and Medici, his primary assistant. Adam and Sasriel chose to stay behind to continue their conversation with the true creator.

Rowling knew they might need to discuss things behind his back, such as "how to stop a Rowling if he suddenly goes mad and wants to destroy the world," or "how to create more anchors to hold onto a Rowling," and so on.

Rowling didn't object to this; in fact, he was happy about it. As long as he didn't go mad, this kind of thing would only benefit him. But once he went mad, once he was completely insane, Rowling wouldn't care about anything anymore.

Time passed in this manner. By the time Rowling had finished inspecting several sites, chosen the most suitable one, and returned to the sanctuary of the true creator, the others had obviously finished their conversation and were each doing their own thing.
